After the guy "fixed" our fireplace, our logs crumbled after a few days, rendering our fireplace completely unusable until we could get new logs (which cost $700) and took over 6 months to arrive. Even after new logs, our fireplace wouldn't work. Because it was more than 90 days after the service tech came out, they want another $200 and 2 more months wait for a tech to look at it. Service rep is rude, and none of their employees communicate. We're over $900 and almost a year into this thing and all we are left with is frustration and and a non-working fireplace. Take your money elsewhere.

I will be back to buy more plants, and garden type stuff. They have solar lights, trelisses, fountains and pond care accessories. I very strongly reccomend anyone shop here for any gardening needs. And they have more than just plants. Landscaping material, stones bricks statues patio furniture etc. and prices on most items that beat walmart easily. Add in the quality of what they sell, and the honest interest the staff shows for the customer, and you have a place that is exactly what I want when doing something as important as buying plants and landscaping materials for the house, or for your apartment patio or deck. We worked directly with the manufacturer in AZ as instructed who sent all replacement parts to the Fireplace & Patio Place to fix this brand-new unit, which was under warranty. However, the Fireplace & Patio place refused to send their service to help until I agreed to pay an additional $240 to have them come. I had no choice but to pay for the service call to get the unit working - they refused to schedule the service until I agreed to pay. Not once did they contact the manufacturer and try to make this right with me - the customer. They had no problem taking my $4600 when they sold it to me, but showed zero support or effort to make this right for me when it didn't work. I spent hours/days going between them & the manufacturer and am still waiting to be reimbursed for the service call by the manufacturer as they promised. Also, when they sold me this unit, they sold me a log kit for $300+ that didn't even fit the fireplace unit so I had to drive back and return the logs, which they did refund me for. I will never return to this store nor would I recommend to others.. it was a really bad experience on several levels and a big waste of much of my time. I am grateful that the unit is now working and just pray I don't have to call for service again!

I do like this neighborhood gem and I think I would recommend it for people looking for that special piece to tie a room all together. Whether you're in the neighborhood just walking around or out looking for that piece of furniture to complete your home, this is a place to stop to browse. So she suspended my transaction with the push of one key and ripped off my receipt and handed to her fucking manager so I got pushed aside with that lady to another register...she was on that computer looking up shit for at least 10-15 mintues wtih no success and stated she would have to call another store to find the pricce...SERIOUSLY....????? She never even walked her ample ass to the display to see if she could locate a sticker or bar code---I suggested she find a similar product and use that but she just couldn't do that because it would mess up her precious inventory...seems like they already have a problem. I am not a woman with great patience....so I told the husband he didn't need that damn razor and made the lady take my money for my few other items that I obviously wanted or I would have just left it all and went elsewhere but I did want my little travel cover for my kindle and the dog leash and collar for my dog...so I let her take another 10 mintues to review my entire receipt and finally take my money... The new roll out of bins is horrible. 6 bins instead of 12. So the increase in angry aggressive and out right violence..increased tremendously. I stopped in recently and was hoping things had changed. Sadly they had not.The problem with less bins coming out is more aggressive and pushy intense customers. I was pushed by one. I know not to inform management, they have friends shopping that they protect. I know my friends have limited their spending and time there as well. Sad. Plus the items in the bins are pure trash. I truly hope goodwill will look into this. I'm a 67 year old woman, that would love to go again.
