The quality of their inventory is always top-tier; everything is clean, well-kept, and genuinely cool. Beyond how much fun it is to dig through the racks, the service is incredibly warm and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. You can tell the space used to be a convenience store; there's merchandise located in the once wall refrigerators. I happened to go on a day where yellow tags as well as Halloween merchandise were 50% off. Of course, I found nothing with a yellow tag or of the Halloween variety. However, I did find a shirt and a book so that was fine. I'm looking forward to exploring the other location in Ross Township to see what different setup and merchandise they have.

It is run by volunteers and they are always in high spirits. It can actually be an entertaining time in here depending on who is manning the shop. Oh, the pricing can be very reasonable as well.

In fact, it was an entire flight of steps better. Clean as a pin, well-organized, interesting inventory AND the two gentlemen who run the place were as friendly as they come. Although I didn't find what I collect (ocean liner memorabilia), I did find a very cool item for my wife for Christmas...and at a very reasonable price. As we were checking out, we chatted a bit with the owners and they made some great suggestions for other antique malls in the general area. We went to a few of them, and their recommendations were spot-on. We really appreciated how helpful they were. It's more than apparent that they really care about their customer's experience. Although the store is not large it has a variety of clothing, housewares, linens, and seasonal decorations. Donations are gratefully received if one does not want to sign up to be a consignor. The hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday-Thursday and 9 a.m. to 3 pm. on Saturday. The store is closed on Sundays and Fridays. Want to meet new friends? New volunteers are welcome. Right on Potomac ave in Dormont and there is meter parking right out front of the store. The ladies that work there are very nice as well. They told us how they are volunteers and have been working there for years. This is a non-profit store and everything they don't sell within 60 days goes to homeless shelters and a lot of their profits go towards helping the animal shelters as well. The store has been around for 50+ years, which is amazing. The ladies said it originally started out as a trade store for items people didn't want anymore, hence the name.
