Our sales rep, Alex, is knowledgeable about solar but not very transparent when it comes to tax info/paying off the loan. He said we'd get a check as a tax credit when we signed the contract. Instead, we got a non-refundable tax credit, which is not the same as a check for the full amount. Unfortunately, there isn't anything our tax professional can do at this point, so now our monthly payment will go up. Please check with a tax professional before you sign with titanium solar/Alex. Never do business with this company. Don't be the idiot I was. We purchased solar panels as the installation was "free" and we were promised that our electric bill would be much better than it was. After a year the monthly charge went up by $100, now during summer days I have to pay the monthly premium on the panels and I also have to pay for the electric bill. Considering selling the house now, but the panels could prove to be a huge hurdle in selling as there are still 68K left to pay on the loan, a loan that I'll probably have for the rest of my life. These people sold me dreams, ruined my chances at selling my house and I still have to pay my energy bill. This is without considering the impending failure of one of the panels or even my roof. Biggest financial regret I have are these damn panels, trapped me in a life contract and now there's no way out. The person who came to my house to offer me the system his name Jake Longwell , referred me to company to do tax to get credit on the solar system that I installed by titanium company , this tax ppl got 1500$ to do something illegal , I connected my cpa with this ppl and my cpa confirmed me what they are going to do very illegal and risky and there is high possibility to get audit from irs and pay penalty , and this Jake longwell promised me if I don't want to proceed with them my money guarantee back , but when I asked him to get my money back , he told me no money for you and you can't catch anything on me legally , and I have to be accountable on my decision. 06/18/2024 OVER A YEAR NOW! and still this POS company Titanium Solar and the sales representative Travis Hartman NEVER returned my phone call. I was screwed over the Edison plan now I'm getting less money for Edison purchasing my solar energy and to date I have over $200 of credit from SCE. And to top it off I was charged $35K for a $25K job no solar reimbursement Travis the POS LIAR told me that I could either use the $10K reimbursement towards my cost of $35K which would lower it to $25K or take the Federal credit- my tax prepare laughed at me and I looked like a fool. No Stars! We signed a contract with titanium solar over 14 months ago. Our solar panels were installed in March 2023 they do not work. They installed the solar panels before they even did the electrical work and we found out that we had to get a verification from LA DWP to get the electrical work done nobody from titanium Solar has ever contacted us with any kind of customer service or direct contact to follow up with us. It's been over a year the panels don't work the roofing company that they sent out, ruined our roof When the rain came in Los Angeles we had water inside of our home ruined interior of our hardwood floors no one has contacted us back and we are now filing a legal lawsuit against the roofing company as well as titanium solar. Lies, hang ups, and indifference. It has been five months and I still have a damaged roof. Half of my panels are covered in a tarp, defeating the point of having them. The tarp is shredding and damaged because it has been up so long, now defeating the point of the tarp... I have filed complaints with the BBB and CSLB. I will leave on orders shortly with my dad flying in to take care of my 5 year old and no one at this company seems to care to fix the wrong they created by contracting a company that didn't use flashings to install the panels! read more

Please do not use this company. 1) upon installation they damaged my roof causing leaks and 4 months after reporting the issue they have yet to even respond while moisture issues continue build in my attic. 2) Over 1/3rd of my panels are now malfunctioning and they have yet to respond stating they don't have any technicians in my area so it's on me to contact and pay for any solar maintenance work (with all local guys saying they wont touch other companies work, so I'm SOL there I guess). 3) The amount of Solar production promised by the sales team was far greater than the panels have actually produced, and that was pre malfunction. Do Not Go With This Company. They have horrible customer service and will drag the process forever. Our mistake was not taking the time researching all the horrible reviews other people already experienced with them, that are actually TRUE (I experience them myself). Paid them the first and second payment, shell out $23k to make sure everything works smoothly because we don't want to be the reason for delay. But lo and behold, our contract should be completed May,2024 and we are now almost done with September and the solar panels are still not working as they should. They are blaming it to lack of manpower that is really not my concern because if you are in a contract, you need to find people and find them quick if needed hire a contractor to complete the task. Anyways, we are still waiting for them to finish what they started. And their customer service is horrible too, they will keep giving you the run around and will not give you names of their higher ups or managers. I have had their solar system for three years now and this is the third year in a row that I have a water leak and damage to my ceiling. They are unwilling to come out to my home for repairs. They asked for a moisture test and pictures of the damage yet when everything was submitted, I have had no reply or call back from the company. I am very disappointed, I am having to take care of the work myself. There is absolutely no reason why I should pay for this upfront. STAY AWAY !! from Titanium and its parent company AMP SMART. Where should I begin, solar installed Nov 2022, one month later, December, we had record rain. It was leaking in multiple locations. I took pictures and contacted Titanium, they sent out (3) roofers, but did not like their recommendations. During one storm they sent a crew member , who then stapled a tarp onto my roof compounding the problem by punching hundreds of small holes through my shingles. They damaged a large section of my roof and voiding my shingle manufacture warranty. The install workmanship deserves no stars. I have a thread with over 50 emails, attempting resolution.. It is now mid June 2023 and still have not received any repair. I finally filed a complaint to the Ca State License Board and submitted an assessment report from a state license roofer, his recommendations were to re-roof the affected areas (subject to locating same roof material) and use solar mounts that can be flashed professionally for rain guard. Save yourselves a headache ... I do not recommend Titanium and its parent company AMP SMART. read more

If I can give zero star, I will. They were quick to install the solar but then Stalled!!! They keep telling us they are waiting for the city to turn on our power, but we finally called the city they the city did not have the paperwork Titanium should have submitted to them. Also, they told us they would reimburse any edition bills, but all of a sudden, they are saying they won't reimburse. Keep in mind this is their fault, not the city or us. They did the installation in early December 2022. We're still waiting for the solar to be turned on, and yet we already started paying for it. Turns out Titanium Solar only installed two of the three panels/meters needed. One for incoming and self-use electricity but not the third for my outgoing surplus. I called Titanium and their reply? They have no announced after me sending them my 3rd payment they are NO LONGER reimbursing clients for solar that is not ready and working by contract date. Funny starting 1/23/23. Guess what I submitted my 3rd request on 1/23/23. I AM TELLING YOU this place should not legally be in business. Do not waste your time or money I had solar placed on 2 homes. Both panels placed on 9/27. One home has been done and complete since 11/22. This place finished 2/3/23. They send people to your home with NO notification. And then call you to tell you that you failed to be present. They will have a customer representative call you " the PM" asked me to call you. We were introduced to Titanium Solar through a sales/customer rep by the name of Jamie Trent. A great guy to work with! Unfortunately, the company he worked for, Titanium Solar, is run by a group of folks that give very little respect to customer service, product quality and basic human kindness. My wife and I began the process purchasing solar panels suggested by the company so that the solar installation process could begin. Titanium contracted a crew to install the panels after reportedly having approved plans through the county. The installation was very impressive. It took place within weeks of the order. However, that is pretty much the limit of "awesome" for this company. Days later, it was discovered that the "approved plan" was not approved, and the panels were installed prematurely. After the plan was legit approved and the panels corrected, another issue was identified by the company. Our CB Panel did not contain the correct CB. We waited for months. Finally, the company sends over electricians with a new CB. However, the CB did not fit within our panel. Instead of investigating a viable solution, the electricians that the company hired filed down our bus bar within the panel to make the too large of a CB fit. This caused permanent damage to our panel and prevented a passing inspection. The company then told us that they would replace the CB Panel. Again, we waited months for anything to happen. When they get someone to our residence, they discover wiring issues that must be addressed prior to installing the panel. This process began in March of 2022. We have been paying our Solar Panel bill on top of the monthly electric bill which at first was not a huge issue. Titanium was kind enough to reimburse the payments back to me every month. Just today, I receive a response to an email with Titanium that they are no longer honoring the reimbursements. We have inoperable solar due to no fault of our own and now we have to pay electric and solar panel bills? Do not trust this company! They will work well with you until issues present themselves and then they will stick you with a bill for services promised and not yet delivered. More to come... read more

I have gotten constant power outages since last Thursday and even my appliances have started to malfunction. Do not use this company! Many issues! System was installed November 2022. Was told we were grandfathered into NEM2 metering. System was not approved to operate until December 2023. Jump to December 2024 and we are now being told we were not grandfathered into NEM2 because TItanium did not submit PTO before the April 2023 cutoff (like we were told they did). We now have a $52k system that is basically useless unless we spend $30k on battery wall banks. Communication/responses from them is pretty much nonexistent. read more

The first inspection failed It took a while for the company to schedule for corrections and i have to keep following up instead of them following up. Response is really slow and does not seem that they are prioritizing their residential customers. As of today, June 13, our solar project is still not complete. Do not use this company! I made the mistake of purchasing solar panels with this company in February of this year (2024). It is now mid July, and I am still waiting for the inspection. Due to the extreme length of the installation, instead of generating solar power that will offset my electric costs, I am now paying both my normal electric bill plus payments on a pretty much worthless solar system. They never came back to do my final inspection and then I received and email stating they were coming to do my final inspection September 4. No one showed up. i have not been hooked up to the grid. A permission to operate request was not submitted. I am generating energy but do not know where it goes (not to Edison). I have called an emailed over 10 times reaching Jenny and Isabel who tell me someone will contact me and it never happens. This 108 day job, this was the time stated on the contract this job started in October of 2022 and it is now May 31 2023 that's eight months and still not finished I am now paying $383 a month to the finance Co and still paying $350 a month Southern California Edison bill because I do not have a solar system the finance Company Good leap paid Titanium solar before job was completed. This job went bad from the very beginning. They wrecked my patio roof by walking on it and they denied that they had walked on patio roof until shown pictures of damage. The underground electrical work was started the first week of April 14th 2023 now May 31-23 the contractor dug a trench about 100 feet long and remove about 20 feet of concrete from pool deck and patio so they could run power from new location of electric meter at SW corner of garage to the old meter location at house. Southern Calif Edison required that meter be moved to this new location. The underground electric work passed inspection on May the 25th The electrical contractor needs to back fill trench and replace the concrete that was removed. I was told that Southern Ca Edison needs to replace existing meter with a new one and needs to make the proper connections at the new meter location and Titanium solar needs to come and install their circuit breakers. so, the system be activated. I went through Optimum First Solar for my panels and they used Titanium for my install. They really did such a wonderful job with the install. They were very communicative getting prepared for the install and on the install day, Will and his crew were very professional and did a wonderful job. They arrived on time and a team of them installed the panels and took pictures to show me and walk me through all the work they had done. Will took the time to answer all my questions and was very professional. I was worried this process was going to be stressful but Optimum First Solar and Titanium handled everything. I am very happy I made the decision to go solar and that I used Titanium. read more

They do not have technicians, they use laborers who show up in their personal cars and are NOT qualified to perform any work they are there for and don't have the proper tools or materials. They re did my stucco three times with three different laborers (STILL LOOKS TERRIBLE), damaged my eaves, damaged my pavers, left messes and did shotty work. They have no called and no showed several times and still have not replaced the pipe they got stucco all over and it's been almost a year since installation. The worst solar contractor you can have. All they care about is the money and have the slightest idea that they are providing a service as well. They outsourced the installation to a third party. They are never involved in the inspection or supervision. If you are able and knowledgeable, you better be on top of it or else you will have a crisis on your hands. They damaged my roof and found out about it in the middle of a severe storm. These clowns just kept drilling holes until they found the rafters and left me with a damaged roof. It took over six months and many complaints to finally get it resolved. They are so disorganized. The right hand doesn't talk to the left hand. Report a problem and expect the tech to show up with a different report or no clue why he was sent. They do not care or are unable to support your system once it is installed. I currently have 9 of 16 panels that are not generating power since June 2024. How many calls do I need to make? read more

I wished I at least searched for Titanium Solar before signing with them. Payment plan signed in 09/2022. Texting back and forth for any status update and before panels could be installed in 11/2022 (2 months). Main panel upgrade in 02/2023 (3 months) after back and forth with support@titaniumsolar.com asking them for status and any upcoming scheduled date for MPU upgrade. First payment in 03/2023. City inspector came and noticed major issues and one month later no corrections scheduled until you emailed them. THEN they said Final Inspection is blocked until I addressed my own issues first, even though City said I don't have to do anything. You NEED to send support requests otherwise you'll wait forever for them to do anything. I don't know what the heck is going on at Titanium Solar. Lack of people? Lack of commitment at the company? Representative ADRIAN MEJIA had my mother sign this contract then after inspection they said that all electrical must be replaced otherwise the solar system won't be installed, I get it! WELL there's no funds to do the electrical so we decided to cancel and now he is threatening with saying there's a cancellation fee of $1,000.00 which he states is for what they've already done which in this case is NOTHING but the inspection.
