Ive been a customer at Titan for over 14 years! When you think of comic shops, Titan is the stereotype. Knowlegeable and courteous and just comics and comic related merch. - comics, trades, books, posters, etc (No pokemon or Magic!). Oh and (as mentioned on several occasions already) -if you need a back issue, this is the place to try - Typically, if Jeremy doesn't have it, you're gonna have a hard time findin it? I actually tell people; " Try Titan, otherwise give eBay a shot but if you find it on eBay, it's probably a Titan auction!" On a side note - for some of the lower star ratings below 1. Its a business, not a library (in a business that lives on. Mint, very Fine, Fine, Good, Fair, etc - kids shouldn't be running around a comic shop unattended). It's like a bull in a china shop - be realistic! 2. There are employees who have worked there for over 5 yrs, so it can't be that bad of a work environment. Besides, if you get grief, take it as a compliment, you've become part if the family! Oh and sorry to say but, its their store to run how they see fit. 3. While technically a business cannot stipulate a minimum purchase a private business can REFUSE to sell merchandise to whomever they choose. So they don't "Have to" do anything. Anyway, bottom line, you want a no-frills comic shop that does everything in can to preserve the mythos and medium, stop by Titan. read more

I've collected comics for close to 30 years now, on and off for a bit. I've been going to Titan for the last couple of years now and I've transferred 99.9% of my subscriptions there because of the service. The staff is awesome and knowledgeable, the store is neat, clean and organized. They run a comic book store, not a game store, so you can find a comprehensive selection of comics, trades, and comic related merchandise there. The back issues are well organized and the selection is plentiful. A lot of comic book stores may have employees that can run a register, but these guys can actually know about the books they sell, including histories of titles in case you're looking for something specific. If your looking for a specific issue, they'll hold it for you if they know you're coming for it. Walking in you can tell it is a well managed and well kept store, but you also get a comfortable feeling you don't get in a lot of book stores. They'll ask if you're looking for something when you walk in, and if told you just want to browse, they'll leave you be. The store, like any other book store of any kind is not designed to be a library or playpen for minors, but they have gone out of their way to design a "play" area to occupy minors so children won't run around the store destroying valuable property. read more

how come someone come off this rude over no ebay rating? i was gladly gonna travel houston to dallas on my next day off for a pop he had , i do it all the time .he wanted to be rude and judge me on my ebay account that i don't use that often. the screenshot and reviews will speak themselves. jeremy you're such a clown. ima see you around hoe how you gonna mess up money for your business. dumbass people i swear Edit to his comment: lmaoo i did mention coming to the store , that's why i asked if he had a store and ask for the address. he said he "declined" but he as what you can see he accepted first . he said i'm changing the story for my favor ? but i literally posted the whole conversation we had and he clearly come off rude about me asking for the address thur my ebay ratings . jeremy has other complaints about being rude asf and it shows . and he trying to cover it up obviously. this guy has the worst customer service i ever witnessed and i didn't even go to the store yet ! never going to now . he could've simply just send me the address but nah he of course went left. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS. HE DIDINT SEND ME THE STORE ADRESS CAUSE I HAD NO EBAY RATINGS. LMAOO WOW read more

I have been collecting comics for about 3 years now, so there are alot of older story lines that i have missed. Whenever I need a back issue I always check here first, even before going online. Something I really appreciate is the "Pull-List" subscription service, It really saves me the trouble of missing out on cool comic books or special events The have everything you might need to collect comic books and comic book related items: New Issues, back Issues, A great selection of Paper backs and hard cover books, Status, Prints, posters, Boxes, bags and boards...Everything you need to take care of your collection. I also like that they will recommend comics based on your reading habits, but if you don't like it or want it, you can remove it from your list no questions asked They actually took the time to learn my name, I go pretty often so I know most of the employees and they know me by name, everyone is really helpful and that just makes the experience better. This place is my favorite comic book store in the Metroplex and I have been to most of them around DFW Give it a shot! read more

I have been a satisfied customer of Titan Comics for more than 12 years now. All of the shops in the area have a wall of new comics, but few (if any) have even the smallest amount of back issues anymore. Not only does Titan maintain a large stock of back issues (conveniently stored in unique custom file cabinets), it also has a large selection of hardcover and trade paperback collections, attractively displayed. They carry some non-comics merchandize, but the ratio of comics-related to non-comics related items skews heavily toward comics. You won't find a lot of cards or games here, nor will you have to step around large groups of adolescents playing them. The store is family friendly, but not necessarily kid friendly (as in "unaccompanied minor"). In other words, bring your kids with you, but don't drop them off while you go shopping elsewhere; Titan is a comic book shop, not a babysitting service. There are many comic book shops in the DFW metroplex, but Titan Comics is hands down the BEST. read more

I've been a customer of Titan Comics for about 17 years. Within a few short weeks of setting up my subscription, they knew my name without asking and I easily became friends or acquaintances with just about everyone who worked there. And folks, this is a COMIC BOOK store. Yes, they do sell some peripheral items (collectables, t-shirts, statues, etc) but their focus is on comics, both current and back issues with a huge selection of trade paperbacks and graphic novels. If it's in print, chances are they have it or can get it. So if you're looking for games or action figures, this might not be the store for you. But if you want a great selection of comics, with a very knowledgeable staff (especially co-owner Jeremy Shorr), then I highly recommend paying them a visit. read more

Love Titan Comics! It's a clean, welcoming, and friendly environment. Every employee is helpful and willing to show you around the store, answer any questions you might have, make suggestions about comics you might like, as well as friendly conversation. I really like every single one of them. The store is organized and easy to maneuver in; new and back issues are easy to find, and if for some reason you can't find them, all employees are willing to help or find it for you. All the employees share a wide ranged knowledge of comics and the contents within their store, which is fantastic and impressive. Titan Comics is my favorite comic store and my #1 place to buy from. You won't regret visiting (and subscribing)! read more

#1 I am not a reviewer of much - I have probably posted one other review in 50 years #2 the customer service and employees so rude here I felt it necessary to download Yelp app to phone - to write this. #3 except for being verbally abused in a 3rd world marketplace outside of the United States I don't think I have ever encountered such rude nasty people. From whom I perceived to be the owner to a purple haired employee. I would not go back there if it were the last comic store on earth. You shouldn't either. Order on the Internet. Cheaper and less unfriendly. read more

Hands down the best comic book store in town! They have the best selections of current and old comics in the area. I started going to Titan Comics a year ago and have really enjoyed the experience. The store is well lit and very well organized (which is often not the case for most comic book stores). They have a huge selection and its easy to find your way through the thousands of comics on display. The store owners make it a point to get to know you by name and make you feel like part of the family. I highly recommend visiting. read more

I drive all the way from Flower Mound to this place in Dallas because it's so great! Oh my gosh this place is amazing I love this place...they're very knowledgeable and they have the best selection. They also have deep back issues. Highly recommended five stars 20 stars 1000 stars! In the subscription service they anticipate what stories you might like or if there is a story arc then they'll go ahead and put it in your subscription in case you might want to read the whole arc. Excellent customer service!!!! read more

My fav. comic shop in the Dallas area. I lived in Dallas for about a year and i made it my mission to visit every comic shop in the metroplex. Out of every comic shop in Dallas i found Titan Comics to be the best by far. Really big selection of back issues for just about every comic out there ranging from Superman to Johnny The Homicidal Maniac, a greta selection of trade paperback and graphic novels as well. If you're in the Dallas and loe comoc books i'd suggest this place over any in Dallas. read more

I've been coming to Titan since 2000. They've taken the time to know me and learn what I like. Because of their recommendations, I started reading The Walking Dead with issue #1! They're always happy to help me with anything I'm looking for, and even some things I didn't even know to look for. When I go there, I feel like Norm from Cheers, only with comics instead of beer. I don't think it gets better than that. read more

it's got the best selection of back issues and collections in the DFW area, along with other comic related merchandise. If you're a regular customer, you can set up a pul list and get discount. And if you're looking for anything in particular that is not available the staff will track it down for you. There are several stores closer to my residence, but Titan Comics is my shop of choice read more

Been ordering comics through them for around a decade now. They do a great job keeping up with my list through the years, and letting me know when the month's shipment is ready. What few times I get to go to the store, it's always clean and organized and the staff is always friendly. read more
