Came back after 3 years, and let me tell you, things have changed…read more I took my F-250 in with a screw in the tire. I paid $35 for the patch and $10 for a tip. Two hours later, my rim cup cracked, and the tire is leaking. I would have been much better off leaving the screw in and taking it to a professional tire shop, where you at least get a receipt for your transactions. Unprofessional workers, the one working on my tire was pretty much drunk, he smelled like a bottle of vodka, by the time I realized this it was already done. Never again.

I was hoping I just needed brake pads for the front and hopefully not all 4 wheels at the time. They were very responsive and the quote was comparable to other places, if not better. Decided to take it in on a Friday in the morning. Checked my wheels and told me I just needed the front brake pads and rotors replaced. The back was still good. Sigh of relief somewhat. They were able to get the pads and rotors replaced for little under 3 hours. Time went by and they were updating me during the whole time. Great service and team here. Will definitely bring my car back in to get other services done. No issues whatsoever with the new pads and rotors.

I will not be going back to this establishment for tires or services ever again due to poor and…read moredisappointing customer service and lack of accountability to issues regarding tire installation. Called about an issue brought up by other mechanic shop - they informed me that whoever touched my car last, which was a tire service I received in February from Monrovia Discount Tire, cross threaded two rear bolts for the wheel. Two of the studs snapped off and would need to be replaced or the wheel will not grab onto the car safely. Francisco picked up for the call and I asked if a reimbursement was possible or another way to remedy/rectify the issue. He asked how much I was charged and said I overpaid, informed me that a test drive was done after installing my tires and my car was fine. He also let me know that it'd be hard to investigate because it's been a while and corporate would need to get involved. All while slightly laughing at the situation throughout the call. At this point I feel disrespected, not taken seriously, and I was about to just drop the issue and never go back. Then he said he would talk to his district manager and update me by end of day, so decided to give them the chance to rectify. He did not follow up and it's been a week.

I booked an online appointment after selecting a tire that was listed as available in store. I got to Mountain View Tire prior to my appointment and was able to check in by 7:40am. After a quick inspection of my existing tire, I was told the one I had ordered was not currently in stock, but he had one comparable to it and similar in price. He quickly added if I wanted the same tire, he would be able to place an order for it to be delivered by the afternoon. I immediately felt it was similar to a bait and switch and if tomorrow had not been a weekend where I didn't have to work, I would've just gone with the substitution. I finally agreed to have him order the tire for me before leaving the shop. I received a call right at around 3:30pm that my tire was delivered. I was very pleased with their communication. I was able to have someone bring my vehicle in and he drove back with a brand new tire on my car.
