We've been going to this Tires Plus for years, but this last visit was unacceptable. We brought the car in for blowing hot A/C and specifically asked for the A/C filter to be replaced. They charged over $427 just to top off refrigerant... No diagnostics, no filter, no real explanation. When we followed up, they admitted the filter wasn't replaced and refused to offer any resolution, at bare minimum change the $20 filter for us considering the steep price they charged. They've always pushed upsells, but this felt careless and dismissive. We won't be returning, and I'd suggest others take their business somewhere that values customer service & respects their time and money. read more

Always best to make an appointment. They stay very busy but do their best to accommodate. Todd the service manager is wonderful to work with. Had an appt at 11 for tire rotation with tight turn around for school pickup. They got us in and out in 40 mins. I can't say that happens every time but they definitely do their best to get them in and out. They have a small waiting area with chairs, tv and restroom which was great since I had my 2 year old with me. Tom and Jerry kept us entertained while I got some work done using their free WiFi. I took a fleet vehicle in for tires. My business has a contract rate for tires and all was well when I dropped off. When I returned, the rude folks behind the desk claimed ignorance as to the contract. I showed them the context rate and even showed them their address as an authorized seller under the contract. They told me they refused to honor the contract rate and accused me of making up the contracted rate. Finally they admitted they could change it, but the rate would be a "red flag" to the corporate office and refused to help me. Then they made me wait over an hour to replace the old tires back on the car. Customer service is nonexistent here. I would never come back here and you should either. read more

I'd first like to start off by saying that I've been taking my vehicles to Tires Plus since I started driving 16 years ago. I've literally never gotten an oil change anywhere else and unfortunately that will end today. I've lived in Winter Garden for about a year and a half, so I've taken my car to this location a hand full of times. It's always been a headache, but since I only go a few times a year I deal with it. This location is either severely understaffed or inefficient, not sure which it is. One issue that I constantly encounter is that there is always only one person running check in and check out which slows down the process immensely. Like I said, I just deal with it because it's not even worth the hassle of complaining. Today, I had an appointment at 9:30 AM for an oil change. When I was checked in, I was told it would take 1.5 hours before they could even look at my car. I said that was fine since my husband was there to pick me up. I just called to get a status update because my car has been in their possession for almost 4 hours at this point. The girl that answered the phone was nice but asked me to be placed on hold so she could check. When she picked back up, one of the men working on the car screamed "it will be done at 5 pm like we said it would be" very aggressively. First of all, no one ever shared any sort of time estimate with me and second, there was no need to be rude. I was simply asking a question. There are plenty of other places I'm sure would be happy to have my business so I will definitely be seeking one of those out in the future. read more

I've been dealing with tires plus for approximately 15 years, unfortunately that ended today. I have an online profile with both my wife's car and my truck on it so that when I make appointments they know which vehicle they're going to be working on. I made my appointment last Friday for today at 7:00 a.m., which I dropped Mt truck off at 5:30 and left my keys in their drop box, nothing saying I needed to fill anything out and the only indicator of where to put keys was a small sticker which is where I dropped my keys. I called at 9:00 a.m. for a status update and the always rude Tracy immediately started with an attitude about not having my keys. I asked for Steve, the manager, and after asking what the deal with my missing keys was, I got an attitude from him as well. I ended the conversation with telling him not to touch my truck. Fast forward about 45 minutes and my employer asks me to come to his office where he proceeds to inform me the Steve has called him and informed him of our phone altercation. Jeff the Store Manager walked me out and we looked over our current tires. He was very knowledgeable about the brand we currently had on the truck. He gave me 3 estimates. I originally came in to get the cheapest one because it was more in my budget but as we looked and compared to what we had on , it made sense to go with the middle option. I had a "check engine" light so I got the code and issue revealed at AutoZone for free, knowing the part that needed to be replaced and price. I went to Tires Plus, acted oblivious until they looked to charge me $100 for a diagnostic of the same "check engine" light and revealed code. Their excuse was that the code only states possibilities of error and that a diagnostic was needed to know the specifications. After running the diagnostic, the conclusion was what I already knew; furthermore, they tried charging me around $600 for service and said it was because the part was expensive when I found and then bought a good one online for $70. Service denied as I felt lied to and robbed for the sake of what seemed to be a greed of money. I don't like leaving bad reviews, but this was very disappointing. The manager was Theresa. read more

Charged me $58 for oil change and tire rotation - think that's a little crazy for 2016 mustang! And they said they applied a coupon!! When I dropped it off I made it a point to also request they not put the annoying sticker that reminds you the mileage of when you had the oil change "not" to put it on my window tint!!! And they did it anyway - which of course tears the tint - they've done this every time. I keep trying to give them chances -- they used to be better... but no more!! He just refused to send the email, and told me to call in a few days because he was alone so he couldn't take 3 seconds to send an email. I have been a customer here for 12 years, and this is a good place to get tires. But that's about it. Don't get any major mechanical repairs done here. They use cheap parts that always break. I went through 5 of their alternators in 3 years, and My clutch that I payed 1,000 bucks for (cost of the part and installation) 3 years ago is starting to go bad even though the clutch has maybe just under 50,000 miles on it, and I never abused it. Their warranties are also garbage too. On my second alternator they tried to tell me my warranty wouldn't cover it because they just changed their warranty policies. Even though the warranty that I got prior to their change had not expired yet. They ended up honoring it after I raised hell with the manager. Luckily every other alternator that I bought there was under warranty, and replaced for free. That's the only reason I kept going back. I will continue to buy tires here, because despite the issues that I mentioned; The service has been good most of the time, and the tire prices are good. I just won't ever get any major mechanical repairs done here. read more

This place had me waiting an hour for a oil change with an appt. and they told me they rotated the tires. When I went out to my car there was greasy hand marks all over the outside of the car and no rotation!! I went in they said we will do it now and then the 300 plus pound manager said no we will not do it because there is not enough tread on your tires! I needed an emergency oil change after having my vehicle overheat the previous day, which caused the oil to burn. Every other place I called either had an extremely long wait (1-2 hours) or weren't servicing any other vehicles for the day. Tires plus, on the other hand, was very accommodating! Todd got me in right away & he is extremely personable with all of his customers, greeting many of the regulars by name as they walk in the door. They did not try to sell me a whole bunch of other things I didn't really need (like the other guys) The entire process was pain free, cost effective & speedy. Was a customer for over 10 years till today. Had some work done a few weeks ago on one of my cars and it seemed very expensive. So when I needed work done on my other car I took it to Pepboys first for a price quote. Today when I took that same car to Tiresplus I was quoted a price more than double Pepboys quote. When I brought this up to the Tiresplus employee their response was "Good for you". Will not ever go back. Be sure to get a second quote so you'll know if your paying too much. read more

Horrible place!Terrible costumer service! Scammers! I called early in the morning to see if they could get me in right away to get my tire patched. They said yes no problem. I got there and they took my car and said it will be about one hour. One hour later the store manager Jeff (JEFFREY PATRICK ROBERTS) calls me to show me to my car. I was thinking they were done but he just brought me there to tell me they won't patch my tire because I needed new tires. I told him to quote me new tires and he said they didn't have the tires I wanted (Continentals) . Instead he wanted to sell me the brand they sell (firestone). They made me wait there for one hour just to tell me they won't fix it and I had to buy their tires!! I took my car to the shop next door and they were glad to fix the tire. We have been going to this Tires Plus location since they opened many years ago and prior to that we went to the one on Kirkman Road in Orlando. We've never had any issues and always felt like the service advisors gave us good advice and treated us fairly. We have four vehicles and so are in there very regularly. The atmosphere is super friendly, the work almost always gets done the same day *unless its something major and they just can't get the part in that fast), and the work is always complete (without having to return to re-fix the same problem). We have ALL service worked performed here, not just tires, and there has only been one occasion that they sent us to the dealer to get an accessory part that was only available from the dealer. We are generally in and out within a very short time, although we usually often choose to dropoff and pickup later in the day because we live close by. Yesterday we went in for a tire that kept having low pressure. They repaired it under warranty and also repaired another tire under warranty that we were not aware of having a problem. This is another ScamCity, just like their sister store at 6603 W Colonial Dr 32818. My gas pedal sometimes loses power. The car would just cruise at like 3mph. After a while, it comes back to normal and I can drive again. I came in at 5pm (they close at 7pm). Baby-faced front desk guy said they wouldn't have enough time to do a thorough check and I should leave the car overnight and they were ready to give me a lift home. I refused and come back ealier the next day, at 3pm. First thing the same guy asked was how far away from the store did I live. In other words, before they even took a look at my car, all they wanted was for me to leave the car there. I refused. A mechanic came rushing in, again saying they would need a lot of time to check my car up, and offered to personally drive me home. I should have told him AutoZone already hooked the OBD scanner to my car and told me it was just a malfunction gas/throttle sensor. All they wanted is to prison my car overnight and then lie about all the big (imagined) troubles and then maybe charge me $1,500 to bring home the bacon. In my opinion Dishonest, love the Apopka store but Ocoee NOT so, here is why, they pulled the oldest brake job trick in the book, yes you go in and your rotors/drums are to thin to turn, the car only has 55k, I could just feel the tone and left, went down the block to Pep Boys, umm Drums are fine told me the specs and just charged for pads, I knew this is all that was needed, its just the oldest trick in the book sad because most will not challenge, drums where within Specs at Pep Boys and out at Tire Plus? Then they hit me with a suggested items repair $800 Car is in excellent condition very well maintained, just don't scare into service, GO TO pep boys, they were honest two times, 1st time said my other car didn't need anything then 2nd car as I am writing just needed pads, should have went to them first but Tireplus was $20 cheaper but not if they are doing service that isn't needed, sorry to say Manager seemed real nice but whom helped me again in my opinion was honest if per Pepeboys it was fine, get a 2nd opinion read more

After being told by Honda that I need a lot of work on my Pilot. I took my car to see Jim and his staff at Tires Plus. I told Jim what Honda had told me and was ready to pay for the repairs. After evaluating my vehicle Jim called me and said I didn't need all the work that Honda had told me I had needed. I was so thankful for his honesty that I now take my vehicle and my mother and daughters only to see Jim and his staff. Today was just another example of how amazing this place is to their customers. My mother needed work on her car. But, the main thing that was bothering her was that she was missing one of her snap on hub caps. No I understand that that may not mean a lot to most, but to m mother it was very embarrassing driving around with a missing hub cap. When we went to pick up the car neither of us noticed due to a heck of a day we both had. But, Jim called as he always does I figured to find out how everything was since we didn't see him when my mother picked up the car. However, Jim told me that he knew how much that missing hub cap bothered my mother. And he was able to find some and he put them on the car at no charge. After the day we both have had, I couldn't believe what a kind gesture he did for us. Once he went above and beyond to make us happy. I couldn't help but cry. They took my truck into a bay after an hour, I got a call and went outside, the whole time I watched, after another hour of nobody touching my vehicle I went back inside and asked for my keys. I have taken my car here several times for oil changes and for new tires, and other repairs. The wait is long even for oil changes, my advice is to drop your car off then have someone pick you up. The work performed seems good although they seem to keep finding problems and try to sell me on more work. I just feel like every time I went there I was trying to be sold unnecessary repairs. I was right I took my car to another shop due to a radiator leak which I was never told about at tires plus. It was fixed quickly. I spent a thousand dollars all new tires including the tire warranty what they don't tell you is if you have a flat it will take two hours before it can be repaired under the guarantee.
