When you first go to a Mechanic,you are very vulnerable because you don't know what's going on and how much you have to pay. i've been to this company twice and every time I go they surprised the heck out of me. Took car in for engine light, had car almost 2 weeks, paid $600, didnt fix problem AND damaged car while at their shop.Beware, horrible!

from the moment I walked and the way I was greeted by the older lady let me know I was not in a good place. After waiting for a hour they worker finally fixed my "valve stem" yes a hour for a valve stem replacement not even a tire change. I asked if I could pay and the other lady (Morticia Addams looking) gave me a nasty attitude saying "this is your first time here, I can tell" before storming past me like I'm not a customer. I will never come back here my day was fine before I came here to be treated like dirt by dirt. maybe it's something I can't help but Id never treat a customer the way I was treated by the adams family tire shop. read more

They stand behind what they sell and they're more than happy to give you a hand when you don't know what is the proper way to go, can't say enough about Garry and his staff especially the ladies in the office. They used to be fairly good and had taken my cars in several times for service. Through 6/2023 noticed the front tires were wearing odd. took it to Crawford to have it aligned. 1/24 rotated the good tires on the back to the front, 3/24. Noticed odd wear on the tires, and took it back in. Was told out of the 4 tires, 3 were out of alignment. It was already adjusted to the extreme and they couldn't do anything else. Asked about getting an offset cam bolt and shims to correct it. They got the parts the next day and installed them. Received a black and white copied paperwork with before and after alignment specs. Notice the alignment sheet was completely different than what I was shown the first time I was there. In the upper corner of the B/W alignment spec sheet in handwritten the wrong car year. The sheet looked like it was copied a 100 times. I assume it made it more convenient for the mechanic to use the same copied sheet to fill out what car he was working on! It was 3 pm when I picked up the car, I asked them if they could put it on the rack so I could see the alignment. Was told too busy, and another mechanic said he watched him do the alignment. If I want it checked come back tomorrow. Talked to a Forman about the issue, who didn't seem to be to concerned. The place is a dump, with a lot of tires in a pile out front, the office and waiting room are no different, with cars parked everywhere. My tires are ruined I'll never go back! read more

No one told you to have a tire business you all picked to be in it. If you don't like what you do don't do it if you are going to do it and charge people at least have better costumer service. I've have experienced several terrible visits to Crawford Tire. About 2 months ago, I went in to get prices for tires on my wife's jeep. The dark haired lady ( I believe is Gary Crawfords sister) said she will call me with a quote. Two days later I called and she said she will call me back. I never heard back. So I went to 4 wheel parts. I also had a warranty issue with a set of Nitto Terra Grappler G2 tires that Gary was going to assist with. He personally said he would call me back by 10am the next morning. I called around 4pm and his sister said he will call you back. 2 days later I called and his sister again said he will call. I took it to Tire Kingdon and 2 days my warrantyissue was taken care of. Still mo call from Crawfords. Today I had a flat on my mowertire that Crawford supposedly fixed 2 weeks ago. I couldn't get it to pop back on the bead to see if it had a leak, so I took it back. They charged me $8.50 to air it up and say nothing was wrong except a lot of gunk in bead. I told them I was there 2 weeks ago And they are the one who repaired it then. They didn't care and said sorry it will be $8.50. I do not recommend this tire store at all. Gary is a great guy but the office staff and customer service here SUCK.....I have them a 1 star because Gary is a decent guy. read more

Wow very rude. I called to ask very politely if they would be able to come to my home since my tire popped and I wouldn't be able to drive to their location and the lady responded "for a fee" with an attitude as if I didn't have common sense to know they wouldn't work for free. Then when she asked the size of my tire, I didn't know and instead of telling me where to look or how to find it she again said with an attitude well I can't help you. I came here after getting a flat tire, and decided I should just get a used tire to replace it. Having done this in the past, I was expecting around $120 to replace the tire. It was $50. Then I decided to tack on an alignment, as that was the issue that led to the demise of the last tire. $80 later and I had a fully functioning car again, and I was out in under an hour at most! Will never take my care back. A family member recommended them because he has dealt with the tire shop part not the mechanic part. I was told I can bring my car in any time, then got an email saying I needed an appointment, then called and was told no just bring it in but the guy who does alignments is leaving early. So I tried again on Monday, was told the alignment guy wasn't there. Then I dropped it off on Tuesday (mind you having to make transportation arrangements and figure out around my work schedule). I was told it will definitely be ready at the end of the day. When I called they said the part didn't come in. I am not a mechanic, but what part for an alignment?? Needless to say I had to wait until the next day. When I got my car it pulled worse than ever before. Had to take it back and they told me they can't fix it, they called Ford, YouTubed, etc. I spoke with Chris several times, he has zero customer service skills. The women I spoke with were all very pleasant but it I was constantly being told one thing then it being something else, I was told I had until 6 to pick my car up, when I arrived at 5:15pm I was told it is down the street and I had to go there to get it. When I got there they were closed. Fortunately an employee was still in her car and was able to help. Worst business I have had the misfortune of dealing with. read more

Our RV blew a tire out on the turnpike while we were evacuating. We limped to the exit. No problem we thought, as we had paid extra to AARP Roadside Assistance to make sure our RV was covered. AARP routed our call to an Indian, who had great difficulty understanding where we were. He then patched us through to a callout service who immediately said they could not cover RVs, even though we had told him explicitly. While my wife tried to re-contact AARP, I searched on my phone, and found Crawford, who it turned out was only 6 miles away. They were very efficient and arrived with a spare tire just as a kid turned up from AARP. It's obvious who got us back on the road, the Crawford truck was fully equipped and the man had muscles! Though we were in a desperate position, the pricing was reasonable and we carried on our trip with confidence. Absolutely great service at a time of need, recommend them to anyone. read more

I recently had 6 tires put on my 35 foot motorhome at Crawford Tire. The price I paid for tires, mounting, and balancing was only $165 more than it would have cost me to get just the tires from Tirerack.com. If I had gone that route I would then still need to find someone to mount and balance my tires. I priced tires at four other locations and Crawford was the best. It was a little tight getting in so if you have a larger motorhome or vehicle be sure and call first for instructions. I watched the employee put on the tires and it was like watching a skilled craftsman. For an additional fee they will also come out to you if you don't want to drive to their location. I would recommend them highly for any kind of tire you may need. read more

Stopped by today on a whim, my tire pressure warning suddenly told me my rear tire was at half of what it should have been. Less than 45 minutes later, and only a $20 charge for a nail removal and repair, I was on my way. Amazing, quick, down-home service. If you have even one dent in you vehicle then don't take it here! I dropped off my car for repairs and returned to find it had been damaged while in their custody. The reported it to the owner and his response was "your entire car was wrecked" when you brought it in." Yes, my vehicle has some dents and scrapes ( I know every one and how ALMOST all of them got there!) the So, Crawford Tire believes that if your car already has a dent in it then it is ok to damage it further?? According to them, if your car isn't in mint condition then it doesn't matter?? Don't I have a right to know what happened to my vehicle while it was in your care? Why would you park it close to the road where you can't even see and you know there are no camera's? The prior condition of the car in no way excuses your responsibility. Is it ok to murder someone with a terminal illness because they are going to die anyway? This also does not excuse the belittling attitude of the employee who told us to "get a can of paint and paint it". Not owning up to your mistakes and making excuses for your behavior are traits of dishonesty and no one wants a dishonest mechanic. This is my honest review. LET THE BUYER BEWARE! read more
