I had to write a review for these guys. To sum it up in 3 words: they are incredible! I stopped in to see if they could get these specialized tires for my wife's Mini Cooper. Working with the Dealership, and the BMW service shop had just become a hassle over the years, and I didn't want to deal with them for the tires. I stopped in to this Baymeadows Tires Plus location around 11am in the morning to see if they could even get these tires. They said they could, and would have them at the shop later that afternoon. They said they would give me a call around 3 PM, and I could bring the car over and they would put the tires on for me today. I said "really?" in disbelief. Well, sure enough at 2:50 PM, I got the call. By 3:10 PM I was there and handed them the keys. By 4:15 PM I was driving away with four brand new tires expertly mounted. Expert service well handled for me - very nice! But wait - there's more...while sitting in the waiting room, I got to over-hear how these guys interacted with, and provided servicing for about a half a dozen other customers. I'm gonna tell you, if I could hire these guys to be on my Team, I would! They are excellent!!! They are honest, forthright, professional, extremely knowledgeable, and fare. They treated everyone they interacted with in a respectful way and went above and beyond to ensure each of their customers felt satisfied. Their service is quick and efficient, and to top it off they're having fun and enjoy what they do. They don't just work on your car/truck, they are there to help you. If that's the kind of service you want, there is no place better! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND these guys and I'm going to start taking both of our vehicles here for regular maintenance. read more

When I need an oil change and tire rotation I'm always looking for the best deal; both quality and price wise. Well with Tires Plus I've found that. I usually go to the Bartram location, but while in town visiting this past week I stopped by the one off Baymeadows since they open at 7AM. I was seen right away at my 7AM appointment time. The gentleman working the counter was friendly, knowledgeable, and kept me abreast on the status of my vehicle. He told me some recommendations that Tires Plus recommended as well as gave me quotes for those recommendations. They are were not needed right away, so I opted out and he was very nice about it telling me that I was ok to wait on those repair recommendations. I was down in Jacksonville visiting family for Christmas vacation. On the day were going to leave and drive back to Ohio, I found I had a flat tire caused by a screw. My brother recommended Tires Plus on Baymeadows Rd and called them to let them know I would be coming in. After putting on the spare tire and driving to Tires Plus, Eric gave me a warm welcome to "Mike from Ohio" and said he was expecting me. Eric got my car right in and after just a little bit, they had the tire patched and back on my vehicle. I brought my fleet vehicle to this location for a scheduled oil change. I was surprised when I arrived that I had to have some information that I did not have. However, the location manager, Gerry, was extremely helpful and got me pointed in the right direction with my car! They had my oil change done within 35 minutes and I was on the road! This is a review of Tires Plus @ 9559 Baymeadows Rd., Jacksonville. This store has quite a good con going on. Look up your car on their site and pick from a choice of tires. I picked a tire the site said was available at the store I chose and set an appointment. When I arrived I was told the store does NOT have the tire and no other close store in the chain had one either. Of course, they DID have another tire choice for me...at $150.00 MORE! An acquaintance had to buy the more expensive tire, in a similar circumstance. He had little choice; his tire was flat...mine wasn't, so I left and will NEVER return. I left my house this morning to go have air put in my tire. Don't usually stop at this location since the manger I frequently dealt with is no longer around, but figured it's just adding air that's not difficult. I don't do it myself because it's a free service with this company. Well just as I thought this place has not changed a bit in customer service satisfaction. After telling the mechanic which tire was showing low air he made the motions like he put air in the tire and said " there you go". Couldn't figure out why my pressure gauge wouldn't go off the screen after driving for at least an hour ,so I drove it over to my usual Tires Plus where the mechanic came out to assist me, I told him about my experience with the other location. He not only took care of the low tire he checked and added air to all my tires. Now that is customer service! read more

Terry is amazing! If you are having issues there with the other staff I would just ask for Terry because he is not trying to over sell you and genuinely wants to address your car concerns. I go here for my oil change and tire rotations but also trust Terry to handle when something else happens to my car. I've been to Tires Plus 3 times over the past three years because my low tire light was on. All three times they filled my tires with a smile at no charge. Today I went back because my low tire light came on 1 week after it was filled with air. They were courteous, and took my car in within 10 minutes. Sure enough I had a nail in my tire. They patched it up and when I went to pay for it, they told me there was no charge! Thank you Tires Plus! read more

It was Memorial Day weekend and we were in JAX for a family vacation when the thermostat housing broke on our minivan. Called ahead on Sunday after church to see if they were open and able to assist and they said come on in. Worked with Terry upon entering the store and he was able to get the van pulled in right away, diagnosed, part ordered and delivered, installed, and out the door in about 2 hours on a holiday weekend. Not only was Terry a joy to work with, but he was also very funny and willing to work with the customer under unfavorable circumstances. I would definitely recommend asking for Terry when you go in as he is very personable and knows how to take care of the customer/very customer centric. This is a busy location, from what I hear it's busy all the time. They're also short handed. So to get the service, honest responses, realistic expectations, safety conscious decisions- all while being speedy, was awesome. The whole team has been great. I had feeling I knew what "might be" the problem. Which is short for, "I don't know anything, i'm no mechanic, so bill me whatever and I'll say, that's what I thought the problem was." So when they said, "we think we might know, but until we have the diagnosis done and we feel safe about it, etc.." I knew my car (and I) were in good hands. I got lucky and the diagnosis came back favorable the next day- they even picked me up during the safety test drive to save me the Uber. That's not only friendly, it saved me and other customer's time. I haven't seen the bill yet, but it's gonna be a lot less than a serious issue, or a dishonest mechanic. Lastly, without delaying a single minute of other customer's vehicles attention, they managed to get me in a bay for a quick oil change. I watched all the other cars leave the bay before mine did- that is efficient customer service all around. 5 stars. Just know this is a busy busy location, so please be kind! The first week of November 2023 a brownish fluid leaked out of my car into my garage. I thought it was oil so I took my car to Tires Plus on Baymeadows where I had been getting oil changes and new tires for over 10 years. They said the clamp came off a hose to the radiator and that caused the antifreeze to spill out. They replaced the clamp, put new antifreeze in. Then told me it was probably caused by a head gasket or something else with the engine block which would be a costly repair. They basically told me I'd need a new car. I went immediately to Advance across the street to get antifreeze to carry in the car so I could get home, etc. I monitored the antifreeze level everyday for 2 months - no change...the temp gage never went even to 1/2 way. Why did they lie to me? Where can I go now for oil changes and tires since I don't trust them anymore? read more

Great service if you like them tampering with your vehicle to make it seem like something is wrong with it and it needing expensive repairs when all they did was unplug the MAF sensor and instead of owning up to it, fixing the issue or giving a refund they play dumb and act innocent. TCS light was on and vehicle was driving weird, funny how that all of a sudden happens when I leave, but these issues weren't going on when I dropped my car off. Coincidence??? Tires plus a headache! After being told on the phone It would be a one hour wait to get my car in and tire patched, I showed up to being told it would be an hour and a half. After two hours I walked outside to finally see somebody working on my car. After kindly asking the employee to close my cars hood and assure him that I'm only interested in getting my tire patched I was told that they could not do it. Apparently my car has a proprietary part that makes getting the tire off impossible. Actually another employee said it would cost me an extra 20 some dollars to get each tire off and then they can do it. read more

Decided to go to this location because it was the closest shop. I had a nail in my tire, so I thought I'd stop here since it was so close and I thought it would be quick. The people were nice, but service was slower than what they claimed when I asked estimated time. They said 35-45 mins and I was actually there for about 1hr 15mins or so. When the guy drove my car out of the shop, he handed me the keys and I could see all the grease on his hands and clothes. Got into my car and it smelled horrible and I could see black marks on my interior. Once I got home I wiped everything down and I could see how much grease they had gotten all over my interior. I'm not sure if that's common practice for the dirty mechanics to drive the car, but seems like they should have a clean person drive the cars into and out of shop? Seems like it would be better customer service. Honestly, I was more irritated by the smell. Not sure what it was, but my seat smelled horrible when I got it back. I wiped down my leather seats with some leather cleaner, and the smell was still there. Had to air my car out afterwards. Haven't been to many car shops in my life, but this was the first time I've been disappointed. The people there may have been nice, but I wouldn't go back. I would try other shops before coming back here. Update: I didn't think I would need to inspect my whole car for any possible damage, but I walked out to my car today and notice that my side skirt on my front driver side is popped out. I'm assuming it popped out when they lifted my car. My brother who is a mechanic said this can happen if they don't look for a correct spot to jack up the car, and it pushes the panel out. I'm very disappointed in this place. I shouldn't receive my car in worst condition. Previously I rated this place a two, but this changes my rating. Would give zero if possible. I shouldn't have to clean/freshen my interior and fix my exterior after getting my car serviced. Calling them tomorrow to fix this panel because I can't get it back in by pushing. read more

The tire air pressure wasn't checked, the wheels werent rotated like i paid for, and the alignment still pulls, wheels had a ton of black marks on them from the alignment tool, and the people weren't freindly. I should have learned my lesson from a few years ago comming here-they couldnt do the alignment on the car because "it was too rusty" and I had to go somewhere else. read more

These guys did a quick and professional job when I needed a tire patched recently. I called and made an appointment for a time that was convenient for me. When I arrived they weren't very busy and took my car back pretty quickly. The inside of the business was clean, had a tv, a decent restroom and offered coffee/water. The customer service was great -- I thought all of the employees were very friendly. I was probably in for a total of 45 mins... not bad. Have been driving on the patch for a couple weeks and it's holding up great. This place is convenient to my apartment complex so I will probably call back here next time I need some work done! read more

I had a sense that my SUV needed brake pads soon, so I dropped it off at Tires Plus for a brake check. They called about an hour after drop off to inform me of their findings. After another 45 minutes, the next call was to let me know the work was done. Everyone was very friendly and helpful! They gave me a list of other things over the phone that need attention on my vehicle, but there was no pressure sales to get them done that day or even by them. I went to Tires Plus on Baymeadows on August 17th for a flat tire that had a screw in it. I was expecting to get it patched. They told me it couldn't be done because all 4 of my tires were dry rotted. They tried to sell me 4 new tires. I left and went to Tire Kingdom for a second opinion. 20 minutes later, i left with a patched tire. My tires were perfectly fine. My car is a 2017 and i have 19K miles on the car. Walked in with a book because I expected a long wait. Guy behind the desk asked about my day and for some reason I told him instead of just saying "It's was okay." He takes my keys and says that they will have me out quickly. I didn't believe him. Service shops have given me trust issues. I sign off for my services and notice he applied several discounts. :-) They took my keys. I take a seat and they got to work. Got an oil change, tire rotation, and had the tires balanced before I got into the third chapter of my book. He gave me back my keys and thanked me for coming in and told me to enjoy what's left of my day. My receipt, recommendations, and coupons were placed in my glove compartment and my car was clean from any sign of a service tech. I'll definitely come back for this type of service. read more

They are fair & honest, and go out of there way to save you money if they can. Bill; manager is the best! Worst customer service ever. I had an appointment for 1pm arrived 30 minutes early to get two tires repaired. After a little over an hour I asked how it was looking since I had to work that afternoon. I was told, yes sir you are next to come in. Well after watching 2 techs grab two other cars and another hour later I went and asked why are other people being pulled in when you said I was next. I was told their techs have different levels of skill. I would think everyone at a tire store could work on tires. I told them I wanted my keys then amazingly well your up next and I said you said that an hour ago and other cars are being pulled in. I had an appointment at 1 then he said o I didn't know you had an appointment, I can pull your truck in now. Like amazingly a tech appeared out of thin air. Wtf no then the person got rude and yes I was rude back. I asked for corporates number which I have called and the guy refused to give me his name when I asked. Bought my 2 new tires on Sunday at the 103rd street location and 3 days later (Today) as I'm leaving work heading down Baymeadows rd, My tire pressure sensor goes off, so I pulled over to check. Well there it is, A Nice Shiny Drywall nail in my tread. I didn't feel comfortable driving during afternoon traffic back to 103rd, but luckily there is a tires plus right on Baymeadows rd. Well it turns out that Lance didn't add or offer roadside assistance which is only $16 more including both tires, so of course I'm not happy when Frank explains that I'll end up paying for the repair which could be up to $35 which is more than double what I would've paid for the roadside assistance. So I seeing that I only purchased these tires 3 days ago, Frank offered to replace the tire at no charge and add roadside to both tires as a courtesy. I will be doing business at this location from now on when I need tires or any other services that they offer. read more

They continually rip you off here. I'm not sure if it's because I'm a female or if that is just universal. Previously I came here for an oil leak, they quoted me upwards of $1300, I was able to get it repaired for $700 at an Audi certified mechanic. Mind you at this visit they left parts unscrewed galore on my vehicle and I had to come back the next day and wait an hour for them to put it back. This time around, just to change my brake pads and rotors I was given the run around thrice at two of their locations. They both quoted me different prices, when I asked about this they said, the other location quoted me the wrong brake pads. How is that my issue? The only reason I come here is because I have a credit card with them, but after this I'm never stepping my foot here again. read more

I found out today he was relocated to other location and I really want to know which one !!!!! Because I'm not going back to Baymeadows location .... Devron assisted me and first give me a price of 100 dollars to check my car system when I decide not to do it he gave me a 50 dollar discount ???? Why this last minute offer ?
