I would give Makel a bonus if I could! He was extremely calm, friendly, and genuinely happy to help me. He answered all of my questions--no matter how silly I thought they were--with patience and professionalism. What really stood out to me was that I never felt uncomfortable asking him anything. He wasn't pushy or trying to pressure me into purchasing something, which I truly appreciated. He simply took the time to listen and answer every question I had. Even though I didn't end up making a purchase at this location, Makel still made me feel welcomed and valued as a customer. His patience, kindness, and willingness to help really made an impression on me. It's clear to me that Makel was raised right. Thank you so much, Makel, for taking the time to answer all of my questions and for making my experience such a pleasant one. People like you are what make a business stand out! read more

I had such an amazing experience! Makel was incredibly helpful, professional, and kind throughout the entire process. I especially appreciated his attention to detail and commitment to quality service. He made sure the nail in my tire was properly taken care of and took the time to ensure everything was done right. The value, quality of work, and customer service exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend this location and will be returning in the future. read more

Showed up with my own new tires, for some random reason the front guy "helping me" felt like criticizing the tires I brought was appropriate, then proceeded to deny the installation of all four tires. Went to Tire Kingdom right next to them and it was a total different experience, they were super helpful and without hesitation installed my tires. Lol they're just making people's life more complicated for no reason but good luck to them :) read more

Always a great experience here - came in because steering wheel shaking, tires were warped, they hooked me up with new ones plus alignment (they have the equipment to do alignment now!). In and out within an hour. I was 15 minutes late to my appointment but they still helped me out with no issues. The service tech who did my alignment explained everything to me and showed me the alignment report of what they did. excellent customer service always read more

Waited for over an hour and a half to get tires rotated. Had called in advance to let them know I was a tight schedule. Had to leave.

These guys will get your tires right every.single.time. I don't know about other locations as this is the only one I go to whenever we need new tires, a tire rotation, or simply - AIR. They even price match if you find the tires somewhere else for cheaper. Sometimes you even get a same day appointment to reduce wait time, else they usually find a way to squeeze you in. This team works like a well oiled machine from the service personnel to the mechanics. I have never seen somebody just standing around or not working on something. Love Discount Tire!! read more

There's a reason this place has great reviews! Even on a super busy Saturday with a renovation going on inside, I was in and out for a flat repair within an hour without an appointment. A stressful thing made easy thanks to this place! read more

The staff was very professional and courteous during my whole experience. Fixed an issue created by a different auto repair shop and for some reason 3 other shops couldn't do. The staff did not try to do anything to upsell me, like all the other shops did, discount tire just fixed my car without any issue with their expertise. I am so glad their honesty and fast service put me back on the road in no time. Great value also for services. I highly recommend and will be getting all my tire and alignment services done here for years to come. read more

Donny was great to get me out there in a timely manner. Nice guy, well mannered and professional

Terrific service every time. I don't go anywhere else for tires or tire related service.

Surprised how little the tech cared for the car. Never seen someone bottom the car out harder before. And the lift point they selected was on my side skirt trim piece. Yes they put tires on. And yes they cause some damage in the process. I was rushed out so I didn't get a chance to ask about it read more

The service is great. The staff is awesome, and the prices are reasonable. Best tire place on this side of town. I won't go anywhere else

Came in with an almost near flat tire from a screw. Jakob and his team were able to patch it and get me out very quickly so I could go about my day and get to work. Thank you for your quality service read more

Customer service is good. Expect at least a 2 hour wait if you don't schedule an appointment. I always have my laptop for work, so the time spent there never bothers me... The actual work is what one would expect. Prices for tires can be high in general but that's the economy. Lucas, Bishop, and others there are helpful and attentive to customer questions. read more

Regular customer- I still shop around, but they Discount usually gets me a good price. I excellent service and support by Chris, they listen and take care of the customer with a great attitude. One thing that made my visit even better this last time was that I ordered the tires and made an appointment which they actually kept true to the time and got me out of there in a seemingly quick turn around. I would recommend the Beach Blvd location for the great service- remember to make an appointment if possible so you won't have to wait around a long time. Good job guys... read more

I was beyond pleased with not only the service, but the entire process of getting new tires with Discount Tire. They make it easy to make an appointment online, and if you so wish you can purchase your tires online so that they're ready when you get to the store. The ones that I wanted were in stock, there was no need for me to purchase in advance. I went in roughly 10 minutes before my appointment time and was seen right away. Patrick Thompson was the person who assisted me, I appreciated that he was extremely thorough, took the time to listen to what I needed as well as what I wanted. At no point in time did he try to upsell me! As a matter of fact when I explained that I was only keeping my vehicle for another 12 months he showed me an option that was a down-sale! He went over the pros and cons of the two tire brands to ensure that I had all of the information needed to make an educated decision. All while saving me a few hundred dollars!! I was not sure how long it would take from start to finish, so I left my vehicle there - roughly 45 minutes later I received a text that my vehicle was ready! I headed over there and the process to pick up my vehicle was just as simple as it was to drop it off. Finding a company that treats you like a valued customer, regardless of how much you intend to spend, where employees speak to you with intelligence and provide you options is a rare treat! I will definitely recommend everyone I know to head over to Discount Tire, I don't feel that you could go wrong! read more

I've unfortunately had to come to this discount tire several times and it is always always a terrible wait. Today it took 20 minutes to get up to the counter and it will be a two hour wait just to patch a tire with a nail in it. There are five computers at the front desk for people to be seen and there are NEVER more than three people at the absolute most running the front desk. This is on beach boulevard so obviously it will be busy, I don't know who the manager is but they need to keep this place more staffed especially during times they know are busier. read more

I love this location. There is a location 5 minutes from my house and I choose to drive over here because of the difference in customer service. They are so kind and accommodating here. I've given the one by my house multiple tries but I had to start biting to bullet to take the 20-25 minute drive over here because of the difference. There is an awesome team and energy here and I hope it never changes. read more

Stopped in to get my van's tires rotated and rebalanced. As usual, they were busy. As usual, they hustled and got the job done faster than expected. I'm Susie ring that some of the tire techs are former NASCAR pit crews? As usual, the service was top-notch. This is why I continually deal with DT. Chick-fil-a is known for top-notch customer service and expedient service for fast food - that's why I consider Discount Tire the CFA or tire stores lol! read more

I can not say enough good things about this Discount Tires ! A nice lady told me that my tire was cut, while I was pumping gas. I have "Run Flat" tires so I was driving in a flat tire. I called Discount on Beach Blvd and Donny talked to me. He explained pros and cons on Run Flat vs. regular tire. He gave me a very fair price and said he would have the tire there by noon on Saturday. I got a call at 10 A to tell me I could come in even though they were booked for the day. I took it there and had my car ready to go in less than an hour. I will definitely go there for all my tire needs. read more

This shop was first class. From the phone call to get info, to the pricing and getting the job done, they were great. The young men they have working there clearly enjoy their job. I will come back! read more

I am from out of state and was in Jacksonville for just one day. I needed my wheels re-balanced, and needed same day service. Everyone I worked with was professional and courteous. They were super-quick with the work. I am extremely happy with the work that they did, and for a great price, too! read more

My wife and kids stopped in for a tire patch / plug that's been an annoyance for about a month or two. The worker told her that they could NOT repair the tire nor any tires because they were too damaged. He even said they should have been replaced 15,000 miles ago. (The tires and van only have 30,000 total miles on it). Instead of actually doing his job, he gave her an outrageous quote of $1,300 for new tires that she didn't even ask for. Let's just say, this "salesman" was trying to scam a woman on getting something done she didn't need. She went down the road and had ZERO problem getting it fixed. read more

I cannot recommend this place enough. I walked out with 4 new tires in under 30 minutes. Great customer service, especially Kyle and Donny.

I needed a tire for my car as I slashed mine hitting a curb. Called and the rep was fantastic. He said he could get my tire next day at the store nearest my home. He even made an appointment for me. When I woke up the following morning I had a text informing my the tire was already at the store. I called to see if I could drop my wheel (not the car) for them to do it whenever they had an opportunity. I went there, they came to my other car's trunk to get the wheel. I got a text that my tire was ready in a bit more than one hour! The put it in the trunk again so that I would not dirt my hands. The pressure was dead on. Everybody was kind and efficient. Will go back there anytime read more

As a woman of a certain age, I can sincerely tell you that I have never been to ANY kind of auto/tire shop that has treated me so respectfully and kind, and was THAT efficient! I will use Discount Tires on Beach Boulevard forever now! I went in with a tire problem on a SATURDAY, yet WALLY and SETH were so kind and considerate, and completed my tire successfully in a remarkably quick amount of time! I had dreaded going to "a tire place" for a long time, yet it turned out to be a pleasure! THANKS Wally and Seth!!! AMAZING!! read more

I took my car into discount tire for two new tires. I sat and waited while watching a well oil system of business. Alex waited on me and was a pleasure. Alex and all of the other employees showed professionalism and incredible customer service. They were informative and polite without wasting time. I am very impressed with this customer experience and will continue to do business here. read more

I need to update my review, as the manager did call both my husband and me to address my issues, just a few days later. While I stand behind my comments, I am now also able to understand a few things with their "appointment" schedule better. We did send our son for four new tires on his car, with an appointment, a few weeks ago and he was in and out in less than an hour. That was much appreciated as he had tickets to an event that evening. We will continue to do business with Discount Tire on Beach Boulevard. read more

I've been here an hour. I had an appointment and my car is still sitting. Probably never coming back

So grateful! I had a huge meeting the next day-and of course, I get a nail in my tire. I called them-they yes! Come in! I waited less than 30 min while they patched me up! Grateful to them! read more

Wonderful service . Always looking out for customers . Professional and excellent tires. The warranty they stand by.

I went in for a slow leak in my tire and it turned out to be a nail too close to the edge for a repair. AJ was kind, went through the options, and had the change completed in a timely manner. I also chose to have new wipers put on which was an added bonus since we are in hurricane season! read more

I was due for new tires but had some questions on what would be best for my mini. Walked in and was greeted by Danny. He was patient, answered all my questions and inquiries. Did a physical exam on my current tires thoroughly went through their process of what they look for and kindly explained my options. I appreciated him taking his time and how professional the staff was in assisting me. I didn't have an appointment but the full process of them removing & placing my new tired on took no time at all under an hour. I thank you so much! read more

Less than 50 miles after the tire install I noticed a vibration. I checked all tires and noticed not only did the balancing weights they installed fall off but that they never removed the weights that were there with the old tires on any of the wheels. Going to another shop to have them all rebalanced correctly. Very poor service. read more
