Always a great experience here - came in because steering wheel shaking, tires were warped, they hooked me up with new ones plus alignment (they have the equipment to do alignment now!). In and out within an hour. I was 15 minutes late to my appointment but they still helped me out with no issues. These guys will get your tires right every.single.time. I don't know about other locations as this is the only one I go to whenever we need new tires, a tire rotation, or simply - AIR. They even price match if you find the tires somewhere else for cheaper. Sometimes you even get a same day appointment to reduce wait time, else they usually find a way to squeeze you in. The staff was very professional and courteous during my whole experience. Fixed an issue created by a different auto repair shop and for some reason 3 other shops couldn't do. The staff did not try to do anything to upsell me, like all the other shops did,discount tire just fixed my car without any issue with their expertise. Customer service is good. Expect at least a 2 hour wait if you don't schedule an appointment. I always have my laptop for work, so the time spent there never bothers me... I love this location. There is a location 5 minutes from my house and I choose to drive over here because of the difference in customer service. They are so kind and accommodating here. I've given the one by my house multiple tries but I had to start biting to bullet to take the 20-25 minute drive over here because of the difference. I've unfortunately had to come to this discount tire several times and it is always always a terrible wait. Today it took 20 minutes to get up to the counter and it will be a two hour wait just to patch a tire with a nail in it. There are five computers at the front desk for people to be seen and there are NEVER more than three people at the absolute most running the front desk. This is on beach boulevard so obviously it will be busy, I don't know who the manager is but they need to keep this place more staffed especially during times they know are busier. read more

My wife and kids stopped in for a tire patch / plug that's been an annoyance for about a month or two. The worker told her that they could NOT repair the tire nor any tires because they were too damaged. He even said they should have been replaced 15,000 miles ago. (The tires and van only have 30,000 total miles on it). Instead of actually doing his job, he gave her an outrageous quote of $1,300 for new tires that she didn't even ask for. They make it easy to make an appointment online, and if you so wish you can purchase your tires online so that they're ready when you get to the store. The ones that I wanted were in stock, there was no need for me to purchase in advance. I went in roughly 10 minutes before my appointment time and was seen right away. Patrick Thompson was the person who assisted me, I appreciated that he was extremely thorough, took the time to listen to what I needed as well as what I wanted. At no point in time did he try to upsell me! As a matter of fact when I explained that I was only keeping my vehicle for another 12 months he showed me an option that was a down-sale! He went over the pros and cons of the two tire brands to ensure that I had all of the information needed to make an educated decision. All while saving me a few hundred dollars!! I was not sure how long it would take from start to finish, so I left my vehicle there - roughly 45 minutes later I received a text that my vehicle was ready! I needed a tire for my car as I slashed mine hitting a curb. Called and the rep was fantastic. He said he could get my tire next day at the store nearest my home. He even made an appointment for me. When I woke up the following morning I had a text informing my the tire was already at the store. I called to see if I could drop my wheel (not the car) for them to do it whenever they had an opportunity. I went there, they came to my other car's trunk to get the wheel. I got a text that my tire was ready in a bit more than one hour! The put it in the trunk again so that I would not dirt my hands. The pressure was dead on. Everybody was kind and efficient. I called Discount on Beach Blvd and Donny talked to me. He explained pros and cons on Run Flat vs. regular tire. He gave me a very fair price and said he would have the tire there by noon on Saturday. I got a call at 10 A to tell me I could come in even though they were booked for the day. Less than 50 miles after the tire install I noticed a vibration. I checked all tires and noticed not only did the balancing weights they installed fall off but that they never removed the weights that were there with the old tires on any of the wheels. Going to another shop to have them all rebalanced correctly. Very poor service. read more

This location has always been my go to place. The manager, Donny, has always been reliable and helpful when it comes to anything automobile related. I made a stop and as I was walking to my truck I heard a hissing noise coming from my front drivers side tire. Then I saw the nail..... I sat in my truck and quickly googled, "tire places near me". Two came up almost across the street from each other. Goodyear and Discount Tire Store. I choose Goodyear because of the name however, I approached Discount Tire first and didn't want to take the chance of getting a complete flat. So glad I did!!! It's not always about that name brand! I walked in, they had customers in front of me which I had to wait a bit. The employee walked with me to my car, assessed the situation and said, well get you in now! And i said Thank You Jesus!!! This story only gets better. They did not take a long time and when the gentlemen brought my keys and receipt to me and said here, you're good to go. I said, wait a sec, I need to go in to pay. He says, there's no charge. You can drive off. Have a nice day! I said wait, are you sure? And he said of course! I was so amazed because I'm on a budget already and i was so thankful that I was actually scared something bad was going to happen meaning, the wheel was gonna fall off because....who just does anything for Free these days!!! I thanked him 10 times over and told him, I'm definitely getting on Yelp before I hit the parking lot! So to wrap this amazing day up, I went to a tire place I never heard of, they got me in quickly, they were friendly and professional AND they didn't charge me one penny and they rebalanced the wheel!
