Had a slow leak in my rear tire that I first noticed right before a road trip to Miami -- not ideal timing. Turns out it was a nail, which I only found once I got there. As soon as I got back to Jacksonville, I started looking for a tire shop close to home with decent reviews, and Tire Outlet popped up. So far, everything went smoothly. No appointment, but they took my car in right away -- no waiting around, which I really appreciated. The staff was polite and got straight to work. They patched up the tire quickly and got me back on the road without trying to upsell me anything unnecessary, which is a big plus in my book. Only thing I wish? That they gave the wheel a quick wipe down after the repair -- not a dealbreaker, just a small detail that would've made it feel extra polished. But hey, that's just me being picky. Would definitely come back if I need another tire fix. Fast, straightforward, no fuss -- exactly what I needed after a long trip and a surprise nail in my tire. read more

Received an appointment quickly. While fixing my car they broke an unrelated part, which required them to keep my car an additional day which was inconvenient but understandable. I am upset that they did not wear shoe covers or put down a plastic covering on my driver side carpet, because now I have black stains left from them. On my drive home after receiving the car back, the car was making noises in the area that they did the original repair. They sent me with the car and it had a loose bolt in my wheel well causing a rattling. So after keeping my car an additional day, I had to drive it back to have them fix it once again. Will not come back here after this experience. Update: added an additional star. They are fixing the problem, and providing a discount. Good customer service read more

I found tire outlet through a few neighbor recommendations and am so glad I did! I made an appointment easily online to get new tires for my car. Selected a day and time and boom - ready to roll. I was in and out within an hour, which was great as I know when it comes to car maintenance, things can always go longer than you may initially think. I was greeted on arrival and checked in and shown where the waiting area was. TV, chairs, magazines, and snack machine - the regular shindig. When my car was pulled around everything looked great and I was checked out by Tom. He was exceptionally friendly and helpful and went over everything that was done on my car and asked if I had any questions or needed any further information. We chatted about other topics beside tires and I was on my way. Quick, easy, competitively priced, and 5 star customer service. I drive by this location often and thought it was initially more of a commercial tire store, but after today's experience and chatting with Tom I learned they offer all types of tires for us regular driving folk too. :) Absolutely my new tire spot and top recommendation to others in the area. read more

I feel that I have been taken advantage of by Tire Outlet, and I paid the price. I took my car into the Tire Outlet on Merrill Rd for a simple replacement of my rear brakes. I was left with a massive bill; the car never ran the same and it only ran for four weeks. I contacted the district manager Mr. Duckworth to explain what was happening, he assured me that he would make it right. The vehicle was towed to the New Berlin Rd shop. They claimed that they would fix the problem and the car again only lasted only four weeks. I have attempted to contact the district manager Mr. Duckworth again. I have made phone calls, left messages, sent a register letter and emailed him, as of this date he has not responded to any of my attempts. I no longer trust Tire Outlet franchise, and I would not recommend them to anyone. What I want is someone to contact me to address the issues. Deborah W read more

How is it when your day is about to move one direction the fates and forces unseen have another plan - all because of a little nail in your tire that caused a delay in the original plan. Well it zapped me today but what started roughly turned out rightly! OK, thankfully my car has a low tire pressure warning light or without doubt I would have had much more than a flat tire by the time it was finished. I stopped by a service station near Tire Outlet to air up the tire, but three of them were just fine - well, when I got to the passenger rear tire - uhhh oooo! Long story short, had a headache getting the air pump started but when that was done, the attendant recommended Tire Outlet to me. Well, it was in the last hour of the shop being open - and the attendant said - just go and they'll take you. Get there, I said good! No one seems to be here ahead of me! Went in without having the grand opportunity to check Yelp for the rating on the shop! The uncertainty was killing me inside! :D But Tom was immediately on it - assigned it - and off to the hoist it went! Well, funny thing was, all of a sudden about five cars came in behind me with about 30 minutes to closing, if I remember right, and Tom got them all taken care of. I was totally impressed! And guess what?! I finally got the chance to do a Yelp check! Can't get better than 5-star rating, which it has! Well, what was just as surprising before all this was finished is that I drive by this shop every workday. And just like that it suddenly appeared at the right time! In the end, my tire had a small nail in it and just like that it was all patched up! Thank you Tom and your team! Appreciate you for taking me in and your mechanics being ready on the spot without complaining, This shop looks really good inside - kept pretty clean in the customer waiting area. There was another man who came in whose battery failed unexpectedly in the morning. He came in after me - no problem - they took him in! I was in good hands today - and it was good to see others were to at Tire Outlet! Give it a try if you need tires or need some maintenance on your vehicle. He even takes the time to make sure your vehicle leaves looking the way you want it to, right down to the direction of the tire face, for the best look on your vehicle. He has looked at my car repeatedly and constantly tried to remedy the situation on multiple occasions at no cost even though they have spent a lot of their own time and energy. Got a coupon in the mail for a free A/C checkup so bf called this past week to set up an appointment. Some girl answered and asked him what service and what day, bf told her A/C checkup and Saturday and the girl responded with, "That's fine but Saturdays are walk-ins only." So we drove all the way up there today only to be told, "Oh, the A/C guy isn't in on the weekends." and then had to drive all the way home not just with his vehicle but with mine too as we had planned on leaving his car. So glad we wasted time during our weekend because employees there don't seem to know what services are offered when. read more
