My co-worker and I both had flat tires so we decided to come to this location early Monday.I had a 12 noon appointment , we showed up at 0800. Cole greeted us ,got us both in since nobody else was there . Cole and Chris both worked on our cars and before we knew it ,we were on our ways home. You guys are amazingly personable and professional . This is why I go out of my way to still come here even after moving in 2022 over 35-40 miles away. I always get great service at this location. BEWARE! $3,000 in repairs quoted to me from Toyota after Tires plus says they did all of this work already. Not to mention the $600 in break work also redone by Toyota. Tires plus recommended I take it back to Toyota, after they messed up the truck beyond their own repair. Over 2 years Tires Plus cost me $5,000. For repairs Toyota says we're never done. I've honestly been using Tires Plus for years, I had a friend who worked for their corporate office and I was always taken well care of. This visit was probably our 4th one to this location. They are professional- some fixes take longer than others. We have a Dodge Journey and you can't change the battery yourself unless you have a lift- it's ridiculous- the battery is behind the drivers side tire/wheel fender. Which means labor plus the cost of the battery. One of my hate-my-car features. But, we dropped the Dodge off and left for almost 5 hours and when we returned we were out the door in 10 minutes! I felt bad for whoever had to work on that beast. This is one of 2 locations we frequent. The one on Baymeadows is usually not as busy. read more

Awesome service this morning. I drove up having an issue with pressure in 1 tire and after asking if they were booked if possible could they put 4 new tires on for me. I don't recommend stopping by w/o an appt., timing was everything this morning. I spoke w/Bobby about some of the research I did and he set me up with a great tire price, installation, alignment, etc. in 1.5 hours. Bobby was helpful and friendly. Later spoke w/Steve and had a great attitude as well. Recently they worked in my car (a VW) for most of a day before telling me they couldn't get a special VW tool to fix it and I needed to go to the dealer - and they didn't charge me a penny. After a horrible experience across the street at Tire Kingdom (don't go there), and attempts to walk in to several other tire stores, I made an appointment here to have a nail removed from one of my tires. My appointment was 6 so I was worried they would be backed up and not look at my car right away, but that was not the case. The gentleman at the front desk, who was very friendly and helpful, looked at my tire immediately and didn't see anything, but I appreciated him looking at it right away. I had to wait about 25 min before it went into the garage and they were able to locate the nail, so I waited about 45 min total. Considering the wait time for walking in, and how bad my experience was across the street, I was OK with that. Their store and waiting area were very clean and they had plenty of chairs, unlike Tire Kingdom. I would definitely go back here for future tire service. read more

Now I go to this one and have been there a few times, and the guys working are always friendly, helpful, and informative. Getting a car serviced never goes incredibly fast, but I always receive a call before end of day when my car is finished. Wouldn't go anywhere else to buy tires or maintenance my car. read more

They quoted my fiancé $30 for an oil change and came back to pick up the vehicle with them stating the total was $61. They gave him some half asses story about having to fit specific specs but never called him to let him know. We will never be returning to any tires plus and will urge people to stay away so they don't get conned. read more

Tires Plus made my day last week! Found out from one of my associates that a tire went flat on my car while I was minding my own business in the office. I called Tires Plus a little bit after 6 PM (note: they close at 7). They put four new tires on my car, set the alignment, and called me that night to let me come get it. I've had some very mixed Tires Plus experiences in the past. I knew it was time for an oil change and found that this location is very close to my office and not far from where I'll be moving in a few weeks so I decided to give it a try. I used the online appointment system (I've talked about it in other reviews) and arrived about 10 minutes early for my appointment. There was someone already being helped by the one man working (I believe his name was Steve and it seemed he may be the manager) so he called for someone to come up and help me. I wouldn't have minded waiting but I appreciated that. The guy who came up to help was Justin. He went over the info from the online system and got the paperwork ready. The car was done is almost exactly 30 minutes (the time they advertise it will take). After the service was done and I was paying, both Steve and Justin gave me some advice regarding an airbag light that comes and goes on my dash (since it's airbags they couldn't help but advised that I contact the dealer). Justin printed up all the info on the two tires that need to be replaced, complete with prices. They were both very friendly and helpful and I felt like they were honest about what I did and didn't need to do to take care of my car. I will absolutely be back to this location for my tires and my next oil change! read more

I took my car for oil change about 2008 around September. The Master Mmechanic told me "the oil gasket or the oil pan is leaking " So I paid $129.56 for it and waited for two hours. I came back home the oil was still leaking. actually before I went took my car to one of my friend for oil change and brought back. The oil still leaking that how I took my car to TirePlus. After I brought my car back TirePlus, and I took my car back to my friend for free because he didn't oil change properly. No oil leaking after that, my friend did the oil change and didn't tighten the screw. This happened at Blanding Blv. near Orange Park Mall. Another at Southside near Jacksonville beac, I got from work in the morning about 2007 of June, when I got a flat tire while driving so I stop TirePlus changed one new tire. one guy came to me brought an old electric wire for me to replace for $129.00 more. I wouldn't know until I did my change my oil change at Blanding Blvd. near Orange Park Mall. So TirePlus ripped me off twice!! I wouldn't know until it happened to me. I rarely write poor reviews however this is important. Extremely careless and minimal notion of customer service. They took 2 hours to do a tire change and alignment. After my car was finally done they had mishandled the car and caused a tear in the sound deadening fabric of the undercarriage. Ripped a chunk of it off and tried to tell me that it is unnecessary and that the OM puts it there "for pretty" and that I don't need it. They said they could cut it or have this giant piece of fiber flapping under the car. This is used to help with aero and sound deadening and when you lose enough of it, trust me you notice. Car had been owned since new and delicately taken care of until now. I asked them to cut it and I'm taking it to the dealership to get it replaced tomorrow which is probably where I should've gone for the tires in the first place. They only dropped 100$ off my bill because /I/ asked them since they damaged the car. The place looked pretty sus in the first place. If you care about your car don't take it here. If you don't then you might as well take it anywhere anyway. The only plus is that the staff was pleasant enough read more

Don't go to the location on Southside Blvd. They promised to get my son in and out within 30 minutes for a flat replacement. He was there for over 2 hours for one tire replacement. They only presented me with 3 expensive choices over the phone, which neither tire was the same tire that was on the vehicle. Now We have mismatched tires and we are out $151. I was quoted over the phone $19.98 per tire for installation. They put on two tires. Once I picked the car up I was given a price that was $25 higher then the original quote. There were so many added charges. They give you the good price over the phone to get you in and then screw you on the way out. Please whatever you do have your tires put on somewhere else. read more

Tires Plus have hired employees that would say borderline unnecessary things. The roads in Jacksonville are poorly maintained that it's a pain to find a convenient route with the least amount of problems. With poorly maintained roads means wheel alignments can easily get messed up and these guys know it. I'm happy they pushed me away and I only stuck with a 1-year warranty on wheel alignment because I found some competition who knows customer service better than they do and definitely have more open timeslots available. read more

Dishonest, not upfront about costs, and deceptive. This place is a rip off. Manager was not up front about costs, and much more. Told them I needed an O2 sensor, because I had just had it checked at AutoZone.... For free. He told me they would run a diagnostic to make sure. I received a call about an hour after I dropped off the car, in which he told me that they could not find anything other than the original O2 sensor. Over $350 just for the part, he told me. I had just left Autozone, where they had an non-original part-less than $175. First lie. I told him "no, thanks". Picked up the car; $170.. for an oil change and tire rotation, which was quoted at $5 per tire. He had charged me $100 for the diagnostic test that I didn't even need!! What?! Scam, scam, scam. Stay away from this location. Seedy at best. Lied about part availability and charged me for unnecessary diagnostic. How are these crooks in business?! read more

Tires Plus got me in right away when I called to get the oil changed on my car, however it took quite a while to get it done, I think I waited a total of 1-1/2 hours before I was able to get going again. They do have a waiting area where you can work mobile which helped with the wait. The staff was friendly and professional and did a great job. read more

I went there with my truck for a oil change, I left my truck and waited on their call after a couple of hours they called to say my truck would not start and I needed a new starter. I told them I would be right there I got there and told them to push it out of the bay, and I called AAA to come give me a tow. I had it taken to my mechanic and he got under it and found that my starter had been disconnected. I went back in my truck , furious they said they did not know how that happened and paid me $50 for the tow and offered me a year of free oil changes. Previously had good experiences with Tire Plus and used to go to the Bay meadows locations. Got a fully synthetic oil change and had called in to get a quote which I was told 70 dollars so I made an appointment to get the oil change done. Firstly was told there was no free tire rotations and would be an extra 20 dollars (which there is a coupon for 9.99 for car care online that included that and had not been told) as a result declined the tire rotation and assumed the prices for oil change did not include any promotions or discounts likewise. After the work was done I presented the $15 off coupon and was told that was already included in the price. Was really disappointed that was not clearly explained upfront as I would have not done the oil change as there was a better deal at Tire kingdom that included 20 dollars off plus they also do free tire rotations with there oil change. Was really disappointed especially since I usually go to tire plus. Might not be going to a tire plus for future maintenance or car issues. Did like That it was quick they where able to do the oil change with the appointment though but not worth the extra money that was paid and didn't even include a free tire rotations. read more
