Nice people but they are not competent in the most basic auto repair. Went in for oil and air filter change, told both representatives that I needed oil that is designated DEXOS . They put oil that was not declared DEXOS compliant. Air filter did not appear to have been changed. Cover on air filter left off, screws left loose in engine compartment along with mechanics screw driver. Returned to shop they put cover back on and declared air filter had been changed. read more

I have a 7:30 am appointment and still sitting here. They pulled my car up at 8:15...people have come and gone...they did the rotation and then pulled it out for the alignment only to tell me that theres a car in front of me and its going to take some more time before getting to my car because the mechanic is having problems with the other...I purchased the lifetime alignment some time ago... EVERY TIME I come I get pushed to the rear of the line... and the only thing I can see is that it's because I don't have to pay for a service that they offered...why do I have to get unruly to get serviced in a timely manner? read more

This was by far the most amazing service I've ever received. I got a flat tire on my way to Jacksonville. When I got to Jacksonville I was recommended this place. I called at 7:30 when they opened and Paul said to bring it right in. I was in and out and under an hour and let me tell you prices could not be beat. I live all the way in Tampa and I will probably drive back there when I replace all my tires because they had such good customer service. 10/10 recommend. read more

I've been going to the Big Chief on Normandy since I was 16... That's about 9 years ago. Since I have moved closer to Orange Park this is my go to one now. I get exceptional service almost every time I go here and the prices are extremely competitive although I only come here for wheel services. Took our car in on a Saturday for a slow leak in drivers side rear tire. Turned out to be a machine screw. They made the repair at no charge. I was impressed as the repair took about 30 minutes and involved de-mounting tire and patching from inside. Great job and kudos BCT. Thank you. read more

Hey guys this tire place was awesome, I just went there this morning, I only needed one tire to replace my spare that I had been using because of an accident just so I would be driving on 4 new tires, so I was only there barely an hour if that. The gentlemen going back and forth and who helped me were very friendly and professional, and I actually wanted to keep my spare tire and have them trash the one that was damaged from the accident which they did, I actually mentioned that they could just throw the spare in my trunk but instead they put in back under my car in the holder it was originally in without being asked!!! I really really appreciated that, it's such a little thing but it was awesome for them to do!! read more

We went to go in for a simple wheel alignment and were told our lower control arms needed to replaced (which would have been a $600 charge). We then went to the dealership and another mechanic, and both of them told us that they were completely fine. Will not be going back ever again. I wouldn't trust them with my vehicle. read more

Big Chief Tire on Blanding Blvd was a tire company you could count on for good honest business you could trust. Not anymore. Things have changed! I have not been to this particular Big Chief in awhile. But, I noticed a screw in one of my tires recently. I went to Big Chief Tire on Blanding Blvd which I have purchased numerous tires from for my lady and myself before. I went to have them do a simple patch repair for my tire. The mechanic came out and looked at my tire where the screw was stuck and said sure they will take care of it. I patiently waited an hour and a half, only to have another mechanic tell me it was not repairable and directly started to sell me another tire all without taking a breath. I didn't feel right about the entire incident. I said I will pass and left the establishment. I went to another tire company and they looked at the tire and completely fixed it with a patch kit in less than an hour. They said it was completely fixable no question. I have no respect for Big Chief Tire on Blanding Blvd and I will not ever do business with them nor will I let my family be hustled by this company again. Very disappointed in what they have now become. read more
