Service members were apologetic and I let it slide because they were very busy but I had to approach them for any updates on status which was frustrating especially when it went over the initial hour and a half estimate. My husband had an appt for 4:15 today to get a rotation and balance. He was also told it'd be an hour and a half- he didn't leave until after 7. Extremely frustrating again but service members were apologetic and I wasn't going to leave this review BUT when he got home he realized that the balance that he went for wasn't even performed. One star for apologetic team members but something has to be done about how appointments are handled.

The owner, Roger Grant, explained that both places were wrong, although both places did alignments. He used a picture and also showed me the new parts. The parts only needed to be replaced by updated adjustable parts-the so called "missing pieces" were still on the vehicle. Mr. Grant was thorough, gave me the prices up front, and kept them. As you can tell, I'm not well-versed in car talk. But I know quality and professionalism and found both at G&H tires.

I brought my truck to Sandalwood Automotive to have the U-joints and CV axles replaced. I…read moreexplicitly told them not to use the CV axles I had previously purchased because I had already tried installing them and confirmed they were the incorrect fit. They quoted me for new axles and it was more than I could afford, so I told them to just replace just the U-joints. The shop then decided to just use the CV axles I had already told them don't work instead of just replacing the U-joints. They assured me their mechanic performed an alignment and test drive to confirm proper fitment. They were wrong and there's no way they did an actual test drive. Within 4 miles of leaving the shop during Friday evening rush-hour, the axles started severely grinding and nearly locked up in 4-lane traffic. This created a severe safety hazard, leaving me stranded and requiring an immediate tow back to the shop. Because I was in the middle of moving with only one vehicle and needed transportation for military drill in Tampa that weekend, I had no choice but to secure a rental vehicle immediately. Since the shop closed at 5:00 PM on Friday and was closed all weekend, getting a rental through them at the moment of the breakdown was physically impossible. When I contacted them Monday morning, they acknowledged the mistake, stated the repair would be redone, and informed me they were contacting the General Manager regarding rental reimbursement. The fix took four days, requiring me to keep the rental from Friday through Thursday. When I called for an update after picking up the truck, Jessica informed me that Sandalwood Automotive was denying the rental reimbursement entirely because the rental "wasn't arranged through them"--an option they never offered on Monday, nor was it even possible when their work failed on Friday evening. While the second repair job eventually resolved the axle issue, Sandalwood Automotive's failure to listen to customer instructions put my safety at risk on the road and left me nearly $500 out of pocket for a rental vehicle necessitated entirely by their error. Their refusal to make this right demonstrates a complete lack of accountability for customer safety and service quality.

Call the store and make an appointment since I've paid for the warranty coverage where they'll replace your tire no questions asked as I was told... to find out there's a caveat. I settle and schedule a plug appointment for the next day with Tyler, no problem. Show up for my appointment 15 minutes prior, go through the check-in process with one of the Micheal's and at the end he asks if I have an appointment and if I bought the tires there. Give him the rundown and I'm checked-in; estimated an hour, so I wait. During the half hour that I sat outside i proceeded to watch 4 other customers show up and have their cars serviced before me. Something to this testament happened when I originally purchased the tires so I was somewhat in tune with their unorthodox work order. All this to say, this is my last go round with this particular location baring any other issues elsewhere. Their prices aren't really discounted and I'm firmly under the impression that if it's free work you're going to be placed on the back burner even with a pre-scheduled appointment time. Recommend you can stay away and try your luck next door at the Tire King or anywhere else.
