I had an excellent experience with Emmanuel Perona, Store Manager at Discount Tire. I came in regarding reimbursement for an emergency tire repair that I had to have completed elsewhere while Discount Tire was closed. Emmanuel was kind, professional, and apologetic about the inconvenience. He handled my reimbursement quickly and efficiently. I truly appreciated how easy he made the entire process. There was no unnecessary hassle, just excellent customer service and a genuine willingness to help. Experiences like this are exactly why I'm glad I purchased my tire warranty through Discount Tire. Thank you, Emmanuel, for taking such great care of me today! read more

I got an appointment same day and they are very welcoming and on top of service, I am in sales and I actually enjoyed talking and how they "upsell" waited for the right time to mention to me the free alignment check instead of bombarding me with all the things they can do right when I check in. Fast, friendly, affordable service. I will be coming back when I need a set of tires ! read more

The service is always incredible and we receive great prices and support! If the service will take a while, they tell you up front so you can make other arrangements if you need! read more

I'm a long time customer of Discount Tire. Since 2016 or better. I have a dozen or so vehicles between family that been serviced by this company. This is why it pains me to say that I have witnessed their down turn over the years but remained hopeful. I stopped by here at the end of May before departing for a cross country trip, they did a decent job while taking several hours to complete, I wasn't bothered by it. Upon my return from the very same cross country trip the first thing I did was make my appointment for the tires to be balanced and rotated after the 5k miles I had accumulated. If you have been here, you know by the motivation occurring in the shop, they push for speed and the number of vehicles they can get in and out. This compromises quality and in some cases, safety. I saw the new signs for alignments and free alignment check, it was offered to me as a courtesy, I opted to take part in the service. I went to lunch while my vehicle was being serviced. I received a phone call from the alignment tech as we were finishing up our lunch. He proceeded to tell me a few things about the alignment that was hard to understand. I replied to him that I was on my way back to the shop and that we could discuss his findings in person. Upon my return, I engaged with the young man. He proceeded to inform me that the front end components were in good condition but a couple of my grease boots for the tie rods and ball joints were leaking grease. Not a big deal, however, he tried to convince me that the split boots were contributing to the minimal deflections on my alignment report. I tried to restrain myself from completely shutting him down with my experience as a season 16 year mechanic in this area but promptly told the young man he needed to go to school to learn about the newly installed alignment machine and how to identify failures properly. After reviewing the report, I concluded my alignment was not in need of attention and told the young man to take my truck off of the rack. I had conversations with the store manager and stated his team needed the proper training to ensure the alignment's moving forward would be done correctly. I have reservations about returning to this location in the future unless something changes. read more

Discount Tire - Balancing a wheel without checking for foreign objects prevents accuracy. - Tires Near Me - Jacksonville, Florida

Trevor and Cameron were very efficient and helpful great experience would come back again

We've been loyal customers of Discount Tires for approximately 18 years, and we will seriously go well out of our way to purchase new tires ONLY FROM THEM! Consider my most recent interaction with them (Discount Tires, : First, some background: We're thinking about trading our vehicle in the next six months or so, but we're taking our time to get just the vehicle we want---no rush. Presently, our vehicle has fairly low miles (39,000 on a 2021 Nissan Rogue SV --- an average of 780 per month or 9360 per year), and we are looking for another Rogue SV (2023). However, we're finding it difficult to find one with reasonable mileage. Anyway, with a looming trade-in possibility, and the installed tires being more than 2 years old, I thought new tires would make the car even more enticing for a trade or outright sale. Note: In the past when I had a daily commute, and we did a lot more driving, we would put quite a few miles on a set of tires in two years. However, with working from home, me not driving as much, and the Covid-19 planned-demic, Valerie and I just didn't put as many miles on this vehicle. So, today, I arrived for my appointment to buy a complete set of tires. After getting checked in, my service rep went out to check each tire---as they normally do. Upon his return, he informed me that all four tires were in fine shape, and he recommended that I wait to replace them . . . ESPECIALLY since we plan to trade the vehicle soon. After YEARS of experiencing this kind of honesty from this merchant (and I could point out numerous examples over the years), we trust Discount Tires to give us the truth each and every time we visit. There are very few products and services that I dare to recommend unconditionally . . . Discount Tires tops the list. Well, I ask you: How many other such merchants would have done that? It's something to think about. KUDOs to Discount Tires. If you don't know about them, you're missing out. read more

Hands down one of the most professional and courteous place to get tires. I really felt like the team here was very trustworthy and helpful when it came to me getting a new set of tires. I also will say the value of the warranty is well worth the cost. read more

I want to say that Discount Tire gets 5 Stars but they didn't call me when the tires I ordered arrived I had to call them. Their system was down when it came time to pay and I had to leave my credit card info with them...not the store's fault. Now to the really good part... I ordered a set of tires that took two days to get. I made an appointment for right when they opened at 8 o'clock. They opened the door and pulled my car in. Three guys tag teamed it and before I finished the transaction inside they were done. Super careful with my car and wheels. No damage. I decided to order a new spare tire because of the age of it and having used it already. Tech found what I needed and got it ordered for me. All were super professional with me and all the others there and answering all the phone calls. Great service and I highly recommend them and will use Discount Tire next time too. read more

We ended up with a nail in our tire while on a quick vacation. Since we always use Discount Tire and have certificates, we travelled to this location. AJ and his crew took great care of us..(and even with a little hiccup that they apologized for repeatedly) we had a great experience! AJ even took the time to check on open hours and make a recommendation of a place we could check out near our destination. Highly recommend this location. read more

I had a leak in my tire so I took it to Discount Tire. I was amazed at how many vehicles were there to get serviced and how hard the employees were working. The customer service representatives were courteous and attentive. It didn't take as long as I thought that it would especially since I had no appointment. I appreciated that they were able to fix my tire for no cost and I will definitely be getting new tires from then when I need new tires. Thanks again and outstanding job!!! read more

Great, reliable, and good availability. My tires were not delivered in time, but they honored my appointment time and upgraded my tires in order to make it happen. Ryan, manager, took my call to schedule my appointment after I received two other terrible experiences from other local tire places. He had a couple of my tires in stock and ordered the other two. The store actually followed through with bringing all four tires to my car, the installation was half the promised time. Every staff member was working, friendly, quick, had attention to detail, and was presentable in their uniform. These are all qualities that should be a given, but it's unreal how many professional companies do not do any of these. Their warranty is well worth it. Much cheaper than buying a whole new tire. The staff took time to answer all my questions and didn't rush me off to take care of the next customer. read more

I've used Discount Tire for many years living all over the US. Customer Service has always been good and competitive prices so I stick with them. I recently purchased four new tires online through their website and set an appointment for install at this location. We live about an hour north, so this location and the Savannah locations are about the same distance. I'm glad I gave this location a try. I pulled in the parking lot a few minutes before my appointment. The associate met me in the parking lot, greeted me by name, took my keys and started the inspection. I rolled out 30 min later with my tires installed. This was by far, the smoothest new tire experience I've had. I highly recommend Discount Tire and this location is one of their best. read more

Make sure when you get a price they write it down because they gave me a price and then charge me $50 more after it was already done would not recommend this to anybody. I bet they worked on commission. read more

AJ is responsible for the outstanding tire work and top notch customer service for all of our 6 vehicles. I highly recommend this place, they took care of my car needs (tire + rim was cracked), very professional, excellent customer service and price reasonable, didn't have to wait long to get it done, it took about an hour without an appointment. I had to bring our car in because the tire was slowly leaking air and we couldn't figure out why. I did not have an appointment and was a walk in. However, Justin was incredibly helpful and kind, and said that they would be able to work me in, and I would hear back from him soon. They immediately found the problem, repaired it, and now it's working better than ever! I am often skeptical of auto places, as I frankly feel, they sometimes take advantage of people. However, that has not been my experience here at all! They've been kind, courteous, and very affordable. Frankly, I'm pleasantly surprised, and if we ever have any issues with our tires again, this will be the first place we go to. read more

Jacksonville is one city that has certified mood swings, as far as weather is concerned. One morning you're chocked due to the humidity, the next you're warming your car to defrost your windshield. The colder mornings are some of the most inconvenient of them all. When that TPMS light stays on, prepare to get your car looked at. *Fluff/Service I've been coming to Discount Tire for a few years now. When I purchased my first set of tires, I wasn't shafted nor was I swindled into getting the most expensive set there. During the wear of my first set, I'd never gotten them rotated or balanced. One of the managers who worked with me during the first purchase, aided me once again for the second. He remembered me and stated the tires held up very well, even without the required maintenance needed to prolong the life of the tires. I was a new car owner at the time and didn't know anything about, well, anything. The price of the tires had been raised but I was charged the price from the first purchase I'd made (doing the work of the Lord). Currently I'm more cautious and attentive to the performance of my tires. As mentioned above, whenever I see my TPMS light come on, I bring my car here. There's a designated section for you to pull up and get a free tire check. That's right, for free! I've seen where first thing in the morning, there are car loads of people waiting to be seen. What's more impressive? The professionalism exhibited to all is impeccable and admirable. I can't think of a time where anyone has left upset with the services rendered. When they're busy, there's an option to receive a text when your car is ready to be picked up. *Overall I'm not looking to purchase a brand new set of tires anytime soon but in the event that I do, I know where I'm coming. The weather in the city is going to continue to string us along this emotional rollercoaster but my tires won't have to suffer. read more
