AVOID AT ALL COSTS: would leave zero starts if I could, employee assured me my car would be safe and locked up during its service. My car was left on the side of cassat ave with the doors UNLOCKED. All of my belongs were stolen out of my car. When I let the employee know his response was " Oh yeah, that happens all the time"... My 2017 Challenger check engine light came on took it quickly to Auto Zone they tested it gave me code said you need to find a mechanic to get it checked out further, asked around to coworkers, a coworker suggested Chris @ Westside she had called upon him in the past for some mechanical issues & said he was a trusted, stand up guy, took her advice drove over to the business gave him code, he had one of his mechanics check it out on their machine & said that is correct & thermostat is stuck open needs replaced & quoted which was very reasonable, sent his guy to pick up part & was back on the road in a short time. We have spent over $5,000 and have brought our vehicle to the shop 3 times. Got it back again, got it home, next day didn't even get 5 miles down the road. Don't have the money for ANOTHER tow and have used up all our savings. At this point, any more money is more than our vehicle is worth. We have not been able to drive our vehicle in 3 months. They keep saying it is fixed when obviously it is not, and they keep charging us more and more money. Warning - do NOT use them. read more

I called Westside Aurtomotive on Friday and was told my vehicle wouldn't be seen until Monday or Tuesday. Fine. I called on Wednesday at 4pm and was told the battery needs to be replaced before they can get a legit reading. Ok yes please replace battery. They said they would call me back. I call back on Thursday at 1pm. Your car is being test driven right now to see if it was just the battery. I get an Uber at 3pm. I hear the scheduling guy complain to the tech that "I just showed up" for no reason. And by the way it was just the battery. The bill after replacing the battery? $484!! To be fair $65 was for tow and the did give me the best top of the line $188 battery which I wasn't really given an option about, but that's my fault. I took my car here because I had been there a couple of years ago with a different manager and the place has gone waaaaaaaay down hill. When I asked about the time it was taking the manager told me " I can't help when these guys show up to work, I only have 1 guy checking cars." If these mechanics aren't reliable enough to show up to work, are they reliable enough to fix your car properly when they do show up? Then when I went to see what battery they installed and I didn't have the right tool to access the compartment. And I noticed that a tech had lost his 10mm blue point snap-on socket in my floorboard. When I returned the socket to the shop, I asked for the warranty info for the $188 battery they installed, he refused on every level to give me and info about the battery and refused to open the compartment so I could take a picture of it. At the end of the day this shop took 6 days to tell me my battery needed to be replaced, and charged $484 for the job. It's a 2012 Chevy. read more

Very good and professional service. The one biggest thing that stands out here is that they are upfront and honest with you. No upselling or ambushing you with extra repairs and maintenance you did not expect or need. I have gotten all of my regular maintenance and repair work done here and I have never had a problem. The prices are on par (and in some instances cheaper) with other mechanic shops from my experience. They do get busy a times, so you may have to wait if you need more extensive repair work done on your car. If you are looking for a good mechanic, this is the place to go. read more
