I had noticed a sound like A Jet following me as of late and it dawned on me that---ohhhhh shoooot!!! That's my SUV! I pulled up and asked a gentleman could he listen to the sound my Murano was making and tell me if it's something they could assist me with repairing in a timely fashion. (I had asked ChatGpt what it might be and it was described as being a signal my brakes needed to be replaced.) the kind gentleman, I would later learn was on his break when he obliged my request and drove around the parking lot to help me unbeknownst to me. Ed confirmed it was imperative I get them repaired rather than chance driving to St Augustine which is what I had planned that Saturday. Upon going inside Andreas checked me in and was the one to inform me I had time on my front but the back pads definitely needed replacement. This meant a tremendous hit because they didn't just run up my ticket. I'm so grateful--I was lead to stop at this location. They serviced my vehicle in a timely manner that allowed me time to still safely travel to St Augustine with my babygirl to see Night of Lights! Just wanted to give Ed and Andreas their flowers because this experience was top tier in my book.

I was down in Orange Park for a monthly training and my oil change was due. Given that there's a…read morefew oil change places within a few blocks, I just pulled into Famous. I can't remember the last time that I've been to this franchise, as I usually go to Take 5, but I'll definitely never go back to this spot. The first alarm bell was that they made me get out of my car. I just want to get in and get out. There should be no need for me to get out of my car for a quick oil change. The second alarm bell was that the few men on staff were swearing up and down that I had been in to their shop recently (I had not) and that they had recently had a car "just like that." It wasn't just one or two comments, but went on for a few minutes and creeped me out. The third alarm bell was that after I filled out my information in the iPad provided and asked if my Veteran/Military discount was included, I was told that it should all transfer from my current profile. I didn't have a current profile. I haven't been to a Famous in many, many years. As I was waiting in their office waiting area, one of the guys came in to walk me out to my car and, basically, up charge me on stuff. I commute to St Augustine every day for work, so I'm staying on top of my oil changes and fluids. However, I'm fairly certain that my coolant needed to be topped off, so I let them do it. That said, I was told that my Veterans discount would "transfer over" and it wasn't included and that they were going to put the current oil that I was using in my car, which was non-synthetic, and they put in synthetic thinking that I wouldn't notice. When my bill popped up to be nearly $200, I looked at it and said that I don't put synthetic oil in this car and that kind of oil should not have been used. The guy at the desk took it down to a regularly priced oil change, but not without making comments in a smarmy tone like "the customer is always right" and generally making me feel like he got caught trying to upcharge me. I felt very uncomfortable from start to finish here. Everyone, ladies especially, avoid this place at all costs.
