I've used this place for many oil changes over the years. Quality is ok - they change the oil just fine but once in a while, they forget to reset the car's oil change reminder. I dropped off 8am, they called me at 1pm with and update, saying someone will call soon when it's done. At 3pm, I got tired of waiting and called; they said it had been ready for 2 hours but no one had bothered to call me back. This frustrating scenario has happened a few times, so I now expect it. However, I'm surprised how high their prices have gotten. $72 for synthetic oil change (with zero upsells and a $10 coupon). It's HIGHER cost than my car dealer. However, I still choose to bring it here sometimes because of convenience and I get free tire rotations since I bought my tires here. read more

This place is a joke, paid so much money to get my car fixed so I could make the hour and a half drive home. Asked them if everything was fine and if the vehicle was driveable and they told me yes, everything was fine and it was good to go. A week later my engine light turned on, came back to this tires plus because they had to have missed something or their work fucked up stuff. Went back to only have them charge me more for a diagnostic yet no fix. And they weren't even sure if what they were gonna fix would solve my problem, but that was the only issues they could find. They claim it's nothing on their part and wanted me to pay even more money to get it fixed with them. Went to a different place not only is everything cheaper but they are also telling me there is more wrong and it indeed shouldn't have been driven. Do not come here! Just a scam! I took my vehicle in for a busted serpentine belt, was charged $1200 and my car had a hum that it never had before. I needed a power steering pump three months later, I asked them to fix the hum and replace the power steering pump. They did replace the pump, charged me $600, didn't fix the hum, and because they didn't tighten the banjo fitting properly the new pump failed in a few weeks. I had a third party look at it, they didn't install the pump properly which caused the failure. I had to hire another to replace the wheel bearing hum, which cost another $300. I took the car back because of the power steering, they supposedly fixed it, but it was squealing before I even left. I drove it another 200 miles to see if it would work it's way out, but it didn't. I now need another party to fix the pump. Tires Plus will never see another dollar from me anywhere. read more

New to the area. My car broken down on Easter after having the battery light come on. I had it towed here. They diagnosed Fixed it and had me back on the road by 2pm Monday. Very mature knowledgeable techs. They were honest the battery was good. Replaced only the alternator. Didn't pressure me into any other services. Was able to put it on my card with 6 months free interest. No complaints. Except for maybe a shuttle service. Will be back! Thanks again read more

Their availability and the young lady at the front desk being extremely nice is the reasoning for three stars its very convenient that they are open 7 days a week but over the years seems like service is declining. Stopped in yesterday for a complete vehicle inspection even with a appointment still took an additional hr for my vehicle to be taken in for service. After completion they usually give you a courtesy check list of how things looks and recommendations on repairs. I received quotes on possible work but my courtesy check list is pretty much blank except for a few notes in the bottom, so im not sure I can trust the advice from the technician or am i sure that the check was even completed not very happy with my trip to tires plus this go around! read more

Honest dependable service. After a VERY bad experience at the Coon Rapids Tires Plus (they lied, stating all 4 of my tires were too bald to remount and had to be replaced) I went to the Eagan Tires Plus. They measured the tread and stated that all 4 tires were legal, but that they recommended 2 of them were getting a little worn (6/32 & 8/32 tread depth) and should be replaced soon. Honesty, so refreshing! I bought 2 new tires, and had them mount one of the worn ones on a spare rim so I'd have a full sized spare. I'll definitely do business at the EAGAN Tires Plus again. But never never never trust the Coon Rapids Tires Plus, they are rip off artists. read more

Went there to get an alignment and they told me my ball joints were bad and needed to be replaced to do an alignment. Brought my car somewhere else to get the ball joints replaced and turns out the ball joints were just fine. Tried to charge me $800 for something that didn't need to be done. My husband and myself have been loyal customers of Tires Plus since 2009 and the most recent visit to the Eagan location and the interaction with the onsite manager, Gabe Lopez, has now ensured we will be taking our business elsewhere. I strongly urge Tires Plus/Bridgestone Corporate to provide additional customer service training and DEI training to their staff. The interaction between Gabe and my husband was completely unacceptable. One of our vehicles, had full front end suspension work done in May 2020 by another location. This needed to be redone this year (something that should not have happened in the first place and we seriously question the quality of work performed. It would seem they poorly replace the parts, because the parts are warrantied but labor is not so they come out on top when it needs to be redone and of course you're going to take it back to the place where it's warrantied) and the other location informed us that there was no mechanic at that location who could perform this service and referred us to use the Eagan location. Upon arrival, Gabe immediately questioned my husband as to why he was there and basically told him he didn't believe the other shop had referred him and came all but short of calling him a liar. Then he called the shop to find out all the information provided was true. However, in the process continued to belittle my husband and make their system issues (that they can't look up records at other shops) seem like it was the customer's responsibility. His interaction with my husband was horrendous - his attitude, tone, overall demeanor and condescension are not acceptable in any customer interaction. When my husband came back to pay for the work done (upwards of $950) Gabe continued to speak in a disrespectful and interrogating manner to my husband. My husband told him it was unacceptable and told him he did not appreciate how he was speaking to him and asked for answers regarding the work and warranty. Gabe's response and attitude escalated the conversation to a level it should never have been brought to. He never provided the requested information and instead got very defensive and claimed my husband was trying to 'intimidate' him and of all things threatened to call the police! This is absolutely absurd and I believe it was solely based on my husband's race and stature. As a manger, who's job is to handle customer complaints and resolve the issue to provide a better customer experience he did an absolutely despicable job. The decrease in customer service and increase in disgruntled employees has been apparent over the last 2 years. And this is not something that should be tolerated when customers are paying thousands of dollars for services. We completed the customer survey providing all of the details of this experience and interaction, hoping to resolve with Tires Plus. The survey stated we'd receive a response in 48 hours, it's been over 3 weeks and we have not received a response. I would like to be contacted by the corporate office regarding this matter, it's unacceptable to have staff treats customers in this discriminatory and aggressive manner. I recently had new tires put on my wife's 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 30k miles on it. After I got the vehicle back home I noticed 3 of the 4 rims were scratched by their tire changing machine - it was pretty easy to see the uniform deep scratches. I confronted Tire Plus the next day and was met with an incredibly defensive manager (Gabe Lopez) who was unwilling to admit his team scratched the rims, or even apologize for the inconvenience. At one point in the conversation the he asked me "how do you know what kind of equipment we have" when I mentioned his machines scratched the rims. For a fix they had a mobile tech come out and "painted" the rims. That is, if you call "painting" using a spray paint can around the perimeter of the rim. I'm now left with 3 rims which look like a child painted them - they are opaque, rough, and not even close to the same condition compared to before the tires were put on. Despite requesting further action, the manager has yet to call me back. If you'd like to receive your vehicle back in the same condition as when you brought it in - steer clear of this location. I'm now forced to spend $1,200 on 3 new rims. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERIVCE EVER! These clowns had my car for 7.5 hours to do an oil change and fix a flat and they couldn't get it finished by time they promised it would be ready. Don't worry about scheduling an appointment, it doesn't mean anything to them! They offered to reschedule my "appointment" to next week and it would be no charge. I'd rather pay someone double than let these idiots touch my car for free. I went in to get my starter replaced, after starting up the car I noticed the turn signals wouldn't work. I grabbed my owners manual. Located the fuse it was fine. I didn't have an issue with the turn signal before I went in. Yet they claim there wasn't a fuse. Charged an additional $74 on top of the +$850 already put for starter, tires and oil change. I know I had a fuse in. It wasn't blown. Whatever they did during the course of changing my starter caused this issue. But they deny that claiming I never had a fuse. Overall I feel this place is just about money, they don't seem to care about the customer at all. If there is another destination for people to go I would recommend staying clear of this establishment. read more

I have been here twice in the last 2 months. I drive for a living, so my van visits the shop frequently for routine maintenance. Last night I decided it was time to get the tires replaced, since snow will be falling very soon. I was greeted right away, and they helped me pick out my tires. Here is what I liked. They had brand name tires, on sale for cheaper than some of the generics. A quick search on google to verify it was a good tire, and I was sold. He did not try to up-sell me on a more expensive tire. I also needed an oil change. Since I was getting tires, I asked if they could cut me a deal on the oil change. They agreed and knocked $20 off my bill. Here is what made me very happy. I had brakes put on not that long ago. Tires Plus did not install them, as I had a coupon for another place. I've been hearing a squeak and a little grind periodically when I hit the breaks hard. I asked them to check the pads, as I drive close to 400 miles a day, maybe it was time again to change them. They said the pads were just fine, and they squeak and sound bad due to the pad being cheap. They said they could change them if I was annoyed by it, but they did not recommend it as the pads have a lot of life left on them. All around great service, and I saved $20! read more

I went in to Tires Plus recently after hitting a curb to make sure I hadn't damaged my tires. I was advised (after a couple hours of my car being "looked over") that I needed new front struts because I had 120,000 miles on my car (a 2011 Honda Civic). I agreed to replace them, only to learn from a Honda dealership a week later that I absolutely did not need to do this, and so had unnecessarily spent $600+. I have just had my SECOND horrific experience at Tires Plus in Eagan on Krestwood in Eagan, "manager Gabe Lopez. I am so DONE with this entire co. Made appt for free tire rotation, 2 weeks ago. But got call from Gabe 2 1/2 hrs. b4 appt. saying can't do today, need to resch. Called area mgr. got apology. Called Area Mgr. I know what happened, because my service was free, Gabe took walk-ins who bought tires & immediate mounting, so my free service was cancelled & I was told to reschedule! I am elderly, with many physical limitations, cannot sit on their cheap plastic chairs, waiting, so had made arrangement for a p.u. at Tires+ & arranged a ride back to p.u. when done. I told Gabe, I "got it". Do NOT do business w/Tires + anywhere in the USA! They are NOT reputable...and this is only about half the story, If I could rate Tires Plus NO stars, I would! read more

Called around noon to check, was told it was slated to be done by three. ??? How does three hours from nine am turn to three pm? Missed my 12:30 appointment. Returned to store at five pm. Car still hasn't moved from where I parked it this morning. Leave to go eat dinner. Return to store at 6:30, car still in original parking spot. I was having some brake issues and wanted to get it checked out. I was told I'd have an answer in 30 minutes. In 30 minutes my truck hadn't moved from the spot I'd parked it in. Asked for my keys to leave and the salesman went to the back to check/get keys. Suddenly my truck was being moved into the service bay. After another 30 was told about repair estimated at $400+ with no certainty that it just need for new front brakes and rotors (could be more.) Thanked them and said I'd connect with my husband and make an appointment if we decided to have them fix it. 40 minutes later, and I'm still waiting for my vehicle to be pulled around. It's my opinion the techs are rushed and do not pay attention to detail. 1 purchased 2 new tires and they mounted my new tire to my spare rim which looks completely different. 2 broke off one of my wifes lug nut stems when installing new tires on her vechicle. They said it was like that accept this tires plus has replaced all tires on this car. 3 broke my air intake lever on my air cleaner on my truck. I use to love going to this Tires Plus location but have experienced some recent extremely poor customer service. I scheduled an online appt last with this location to swap out my tires into my snow tires but when I came into my appt at 9am, the front desk person had informed me that they are currently servicing walk in customers at the moment and that it would be an hour and half wait till mines get touched. What kind of BS is that!! Whats the point of making an appt then TIRESPLUS!!!? Thats not all. I made another appt online schedule for today 12/20/17 for 8am to try and swap my tires but when I got in there this morning, the front desk guy said there must have been a glitch because I wasnt scheduled until 12/27/17. Are you fucking serious TIRESPLUS! Now you cant even get a trustworthy system working. I was confirmed and scheduled my plans off work and everything for my appt 12/20/17 at 8am and all they could tell me was that there was a glitch and that I should have been notified of a different time. BS TIRESPLUS! Thats the 2nd time already in a few weeks! ZERO STARS IF I COULD!!!! I hope your lack of customer service brings you down the hole soon. read more

Will want to charge you for stuff you don't need. Had to go back 2 times for a alignment which they never did, first claiming a ball joint was bad. So i fixed that and then brought it back, they said they couldn't align it because now it needs a new rack. I took it to a shop in burnsville with no issues. That was the last time I took it to TP Eagan, they were horrible to deal with. Avoid like the plague. read more

Good and honest mechanics are hard to find. I was charged $90 to tell me something I had already told the was probably wrong. The worst part about the issue is that the part sits on top of the engine and is visible and could and should have take 10 minutes to test. I also asked before the diagnostic was done if I had the work done would they deduct it from the price and was told they would work with me" whatever that was suppose to mean" and he took $8 off. I should have gotten a oil change with free inspection. I will know better next time...never deal with them read more

I brought my car in after bumping a curb. There was a noise and pulling and I had a cracked rim. I gave them specific notes. They only wrote down that I wanted a new rim. I paid to have my a complete check up and all they did was replace the rim. After four days in their shop they didn't repair the problem I brought it in for in the first place. They didn't even have it written in their notes. We've been there a handful of times, always over pay for mediocre results. We've finally learned our lesson and will not return. read more

I replaced the tie rod ends on my 2003 Ford Focus myself. Doing so, the front alignment went out of wack. I brought the car in and told the service manager exactly what I did. He gave me an quote. Dropped van off for an oil change @ 7:00 am. Said it would be done by 11:00 am. Also installed two tires, again said it would be done by 11:00 am. Called at 11:20, not done. Finally called me at 1:20, said it was done. I went to pick it up and asked if there was a problem when working on it, no explanation, no apology, nothing. I dropped my car off to get 2 new tires, they were friendly, and said it would take 3 hours. I came back 3 hours later and asked, they said that they were getting ready to start on it, car was sill where I had parked it. 30 minutes after that, they finally started on the car, and finished it 3 hours after that. They put the 2 new tires on the front wheels only, and I had noticed earlier that they even had a poster in their waiting room that explained that putting new tires on only the front tires was bad because the car fishtail and slip when rounding corners. At least they did a good job on the tires themselves. I still had to go into work late because it took forever (6 hours). read more

This place is a complete ripoff. Went in for new brake pads (which was something I could have done but was on the road) and was told I also needed more work than was necessary. I've worked on cars all my life and happen to know what's required. They told me they had to do it to do it right. Complete lie. Overcharged for everything, couldn't give me a direct answer on how much everything costs and wouldn't accept a coupon.
