At the end of the day, we were on Anna Maria and wanted to eat dinner but we remembered that they close at 8:00 so i called them, spoke to RICK and he said, "I'll park it out front, lock the key in the car and there's No charge!" When I mentioned I was considering other options, they lowered the price and even created a reservation for me at that agreed-upon amount. When I arrived at the store, they pulled up my reservation but immediately tried to charge me more than the price I had been quoted. They refused to honor the price their own representative gave me. Once again another problem with this location. I bought new tires from this location. I also bought the road warranty. One tire was out of round I told the guys at the counter. They said they would not even look at it since it was 5 pm. I drove to TpA airport and that same tire blew out. It had less than 5000 miles on it. Brought my car In to get my tire patched and they returned it with a cracked window and they refused to take responsibility for it. My power window motor doesn't work and they weren't aware so it got stuck in the down position. They tried to pull the window up by clamping it with tools and they crushed it in 2 locations leaving a huge crack across it and when I pointed it out they said they didn't do it. Luckily my insurance covers this but I would use this shop at your own risk, if something more serious happens good luck having them take responsibility for it. read more

Road hazard insurance was a few not included and rebate was only mail-in and tire change was a higher quote than other tire centers . So after review and evaluating my quotes from TIRE RACK. which provided free Road Hazard insurance , Instant Rebate and a price $300 dollars cheaper Than Tires Kingdom . and Tire Kingdom was on their installation list . I called the Manager and requested an install as advertised price and guaranteed on TIRE Rack WebSite . The Manager voiced his opposition to TIRE RACKS cheaper Quote and indicated he could not match their price . and Indicated because I didn't buy from them he would not install the tires as advertised on TIRE RACKS website naming Tire Kingdoms a installer . I made an appointment to get my oil changed and when I went to check in the service adviser instructed me I had to use synthetic oil, I told him I do not use synthetic and he told me I had to that the manufacturer says that it is required. I told him never mind that I do not use synthetic so to save an argument I left. Now I have been a mechanic all my life and I just do not use synthetic oil and there is nothing in the owners manual for my truck that says I must use it. I called the Dealer and they instructed me that they recommend it but it does not have to be used. I am not sure what makes this service advisor think he knows it all, but I would think that all the trouble you must go through to make an appointment that there would be something there to let you know that you must use a particular oil. Worst tire shop ever. Seth, the sales associate, is dishonest and tried to hustle me. His original estimate was $971 and I told him I didn't want to spend $1,000 and to quote me for two tires. He went to the computer and gave me another estimate for $637 and whispered to me to not say anything as he was giving me a super deal. When I came back to get my car, he rang me up for $955 and told me I was seeing things when I confronted him. The alignment they did was poor. My steering wheel now has a slight turn to it and they didn't do the inspection that came with the alignment. Seth was rude and when I called customer service they were nice but offered little compensation to make things right. I purchased tires November 14, 2018 from this location everything was nice the manager WAS friendly and so I brought my car back three months later with the inside tread bear with holes in the tires worn slam out. When I return they informed me that I had gone 20,000 miles in three months and that my warranty was voided and I had I gotten proper alignment and rotate my tires I would not of had this issue. This didn't sit right with me I got my original contract from the dealership when I purchased my car and found out they falsified my mileage so much to the point there were less miles on my car according to tire Kingdom than there was when I purchased my car in 2017 when I brought this to their attention and the manager was less than helpful still did not want to help me and told me it was corporate's problem at this point and would not take responsibility for him falsifying my mileage the first time around he did this so that he didn't have to honor my warranty and said that I would have to pay for an additional set of tires and alignment the manager there tried to scam me and didn't think I would follow up with corporate I will say tire kingdom as a whole is not like this but the Cortez location was less than friendly helpful or professional! Very disappointed in this location. Had an appointment for 12:30pm on my last day of vacation. I value my time as I'm visiting my Dad who lives nearby. I needed new tires before I drive back to Atlanta where I live. We arrived 10 minutes prior to our appointment and we patiently waited. Unfortunately we began to see people getting taken that didn't have appointments before us. A 90 year old, Korean War Veteran with Alzheimer brought his 2006 Buick LaCrosse in for an oil change to Tire Kingdom, Cortez location in Bradenton Florida on January 25, 2021. When he left he had accumulated over $2100 for miscellaneous services and repairs that he couldn't have had the mental capacity to understand yet alone approved. Obviously, there was nothing done illegally on his 15 year old vehicle which is driven less than 15 miles per week but it seems to question the ethics and morality of this franchise and it's parent company, TBC Retail Group. My question is, do you believe this corporation teaches ethics and principles of business to store/franchise managers and if they do, do they hold them accountable? To say that they, Tire Kingdom, have lost a customer's confidence and trust would be an understatement. My only hope was that as a corporate entity they would have a slightly higher moral compass driving their profit line. Unfortunately , after being contacted by a member of the TBC Retail Group, Corp's "Customer Experience Team" and assurances of initiating an internal investigation, communication has now stopped. This comes after the corporate representative stated that "clearly this 90 year old man with Alzheimer's was taken advantage of". Obviously that was the case and how sad it is when Corporations take advantage of our citizens, family members and parents all in the name of profit. It isn't illegal but it truly is an immoral and unethical business practice. This was the response from Tire Kingdoms Customer Service - Thank you very much for your response. After a very good experience w having new Cooper tires installed on my mother's Buick, i asked for them to check the struts and/or shock absorbers on the Buick. Yes I needed new front struts--as I thought, but rear struts were fine. I asked for a quote to replace the front struts and received a written quote. We had brake issues on our Jeep wrangler and took it to the tire Kingdom next to Lowe's on cattlemen road. I called four days ago to check availability and an install appointment for two front tires I needed .Guy, his name, checked with his manager with him and told me they had an in-house Michelin Brand and size I needed in stock and gave me a 9:00 appointment this morning to get the tire change done. Arrived on time today and check in was slow but was asked if I was going to leave the car because it would be a 2-3 hour wait. I told Guy I am from out of town and booked the appointment specifically to do it at that time to avoid a wait.He said when you do it on line some times it doesn't get done. I told him I called on the phone and talked to HIM to set everything up to make sure it could be done . I would have to leave if it couldn't be done in an hour. He said at that point they would take it back and have it done in an hour. Forty minutes later the car hadn't been touched so I went in to ask for an update on the work. Guy told me the tires were on their way.! I said I thought you had them here for my appointment. He assured me they were on their way and would be there in 10 minutes and installed immediately. waited another 40 min. And went back into the store to get another update. The manager and Guy were talking and asked me to wait a second while they finished a conversation. They stopped their conversation and both walked out of the room . I waited another ten minutes and Guy returned. I stood silent waiting for him to address me. Didn't happen so I asked him if my car was done. He said they still didn't have the tires or any other brand in that size in hand. He did apologize but I just asked for my car Keyes and walked out. I get my oil changed here every 5000 miles They rotate the tires, top off the fluids and let me know of any issues. I have a 3 year alignment package so they keep a good eye on my alignment I've bought a couple of tires here and had them mounted and balanced. They seem to be willing to meet competitors prices and they have coupons available on line. I worked around service stations for 35 years, so I know how most facilities do business. These folks seem honest and competent. If for any reason you feel uncomfortable with their estimates/quotes, get a second look.
