Untrustworthy Totally stole my insurance deposit. Kept giving me the runaround on parts. Fabian had me rent a car for a week while my truck was supposed to be in repair. I go back five day later and they hadn't touched my truck. I took my business elsewhere and they refuse to return my insurance deposit. Pulled to far forward on a concrete wheel stop. Tried to back out and a steel rebar pulled my entire bumper off. Insurance sent me to Caliber Collision who quoted $7200 to repair. Went to The Shop and they quoted $2200. No choice, let The Shop fix my bumper. Took 1 week, painting a new bumper and all. Went to get my vehicle and it looks absolutely great. Unfortunately they told me they're more focused on body work now (insurance jobs) which I understand. Mechanical work isn't so profitable compared to body work and paint. Either way I had a good experience doing business there. I wish they did performance tuning. It's hard to find a good tuning shop in the area. Spoke with the owner or manager. I took my Ram 1500 to The Shop after a young lady ran into me. The repairs were paid for by Geico, her insurance company. I dealt with Fabian, who did an OUTSTANDING job, both in customer service and in repairing my truck. He interfaced with Geico and secured me a rental with Enterprise while my vehicle was being repaired. He also interfaced with Geico when some additional unforeseen repairs were needed that hadn't been initially observed. My experience with The Shop was exactly the same as my brother had when he recently had some minor repairs fixed there. Before I took my vehicle to The Shop I researched local body shops and The Shop received universally outstanding reviews, which is why I took my truck there. When The Shop completed the work on my car which left a clearly visible gap between the front hood and the body of the car which they refused to remedy going even so far as to blame me for the problem. After paying $25000 I did not expect to be treated this way. This is truly A BUYER BEWARE situation and I would look elsewhere. They diagnosed the current issue n while under the car found loose ebrake linkage so went ahead n tightened that resulting in quiter drive. The two gentlemen I dealt with at this place of business audaciously called "The Shop", struck me as being hucksters and scammers, one of them being the manager. Instead of giving me the body work estimate that I asked for, I was told that the rear wheel was damaged and they needed me to sign off on immediately having the work done without an estimate because it was dangerous to drive. Essentially they asked for a blank check. When I took the car to a garage they assured me there was no damage to the wheel. Then I took the car to Maaco and they performed all the work I asked for and saved me more than 50% of what Classic Collision wanted to charge me for the same work. read more

Would leave zero stars if I could. I got a text message 10 min before my scheduled apt this morning while I was on the sky way bridge headed there. The text said they had to cancel my appointment because they are short staff and the tech that was to be working on my car was not going to be in. I understand sometimes people get sick and can't come in. But I believe a responsible business has enough fore sight to account for such an instance. Heck every job I've ever worked has coverage for such an event. And I've worked from food service to oncology. It's just common sense... When I text them back expressing that I felt this was unprofessional and that responsible business has coverage for when someone is out. I got a lengthy response that tried to provoke a reaction from me... and a sad story... Listen again, I get it, people get sick, but that doesn't justify that there was and is zero game plan for when such an event happens. ...And texting a cancellation notice 10 min before the apt (not even a phone call) while the person coming in is on the sky way bridge just isn't acceptable. Owner is clearly not an accountable business owner, and uses provocation and put downs to try and intimidate any negative review... If he was so customer service focused why didn't he even call me? It's also not an employment desert in this field. All the surrounding communities are growing, there's more population across all neighboring communities and they do include skilled crafts man. Perhaps your attitude steers good talent away. You've escalated and had a very defensive and negative attitude from the get go. I hope your own health improves because your lashing out at potential customers who have a justification for being upset... you cancelled on me 10 min before the appointment by text message no less and you didn't even call me to explain any details. When I call in just to say I'm running a lil bit behind that's when I learn it's cancelled and the only info I had was the tech is sick and won't be in... like I initially said a responsible business is able to have fore sight for when 1 person is sick. If I was the owner and I had been in this situation I would have called the customer, not texted, And I'd explain more detail on the phone as to why the tech is out, and why no other tech is available. Maybe mention this supposed discount... Heck mention making a new appointment (you never even mentioned rescheduling to me) and I'd like to again reiterate my phone call went like this "Sorry the tech for your car is sick and won't be in, we have to unfortunately cancel your appointment, *awkward silence for 6 seconds, I said that sucks and hung up" because I was on the skyway with traffic merging ahead of me. Sorry is not an apology it's just 1 word and it's a reflection of you and your business practice. It's not sincere or designed to express anything to me other than a formality... You need to chill with the defensive aggrovated response to my simple accurate review. I didn't resort to name calling, you how ever did. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE SHOP!! They painted my wife's car & never finished the job with a wet sand to take out the imperfections. They told me they couldn't finish the job because they had fired an employee and a couple of other employees quit. The manager told me and my wife it would cost $1,000 to complete the job but we should wait two weeks to let the paint harden and that he would call or text us when he had hired replacement workers. I am 67 years old & have owned many cars. I was never told you had to wait 2 weeks for a wet sand. Six weeks went by & no one reached out to us from The Shop. None of the calls we placed were returned. I spent over $4,000 & this is how me and my wife were treated. I asked other body shops in the area for advice. They told me to go to a detailing business to finish the job. It cost me $1,560 to complete the job (more money than had been quoted to me by The Shop). The Shop had painted the hood and left a lot of imperfections. This was supposed to be fixed at The Shop. We luckily took the car to Remarkable Detailing where they did a great job and saved the day. The Shop has only been in business for three years. Check out their reviews on the BBB website. The manager of this place is a really good B.S. artist.........Good luck if you use them...... These guys are amazing. If there were six stars, I would give it to them. I had a repair that was not going to be covered by insurance so I did not want to spend a fortune. They gave a fair and reasonable estimate and were able to take care of it quickly. Dear Reader .I brought a 2009/2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe into the Shop for a diagnosis of the automotive air conditioner system. I knew that there were serious issues. It could have been the condensor, the compressor, or another major issue. They were professional in diagnosing the problem. They were very honest and transparent regarding the pricing (parts, labor, etc.) and it was considerably lower than the dealer or other shops that I checked. They did the work as promised and on time. I recommend them and will use them again. One other aspect I found important. The ownerss and the staff are exceptionally friendly and are willing to take the time to discuss any issues that you might have regarding your vehicle. What was important for me was that they explain them fully in terms that anyone understands. This is particularly useful for persons like myself. Moving here from up north i did not know a reputable auto repair shop. I search the internet and found "The Shop". Not seeing many reviews, I was skeptical and later found out they just opened. Going in I thought the problem was a transmission line leak and later found it it was an oil leak. Mike and Bob brought me out to the vehicle, showed me the problem and said they were ordering parts but if I the problem was fixed before the problem was fixed, i would not be charged. They sent me messages via phone of the quote, pics of what they found along the way and my car was repaired in a few hours. We were vacationing in the area and on the last day of our trip I noticed a nail in the tread of our passenger rear tire. It was a Friday night at 5:30 and I quickly found out every shop closes at 6pm. As I called every shop in the area frantically looking for some help, I called The Shop and explained we were leaving to head back home in the morning, they said bring it by and they would take care of me. I couldn't have been happier with how complete and professional everyone from the owner to the technician who took care of the need. Within 20 min the tire was patched and I was back on the road.
