They sold me illegal tint on my two vehicles. We asked if we could tint the windshield on our two cars. He said sure, we do it all the time. We asked them if it was legal, they said its fine they don't enforce it. We were pulled over, ticketed and fined in Manatee County and he wanted to charge my wife to remove it. Soon after moving to Florida, I learned that I should tint my car windows to protect my skin from the UV rays. I was overwhelmed by all the Google results, so I turned to Facebook to ask for recommendations. I must have looked up 10 places, but Classy Customs was the best. Although the Stratos level of tint was pretty expensive, it looks great and it has a lifetime warranty. Isaiah is very friendly and responded quickly to all my email messages. The work only takes two hours, and Classy Customs has a nice space where you can relax and wait (flat screen TV, video games, wifi, snacks, drinks). HIGHLY recommend, wouldn't go anywhere else! I took my brand new Lexus LC 500 into Classy Customs to get the front end PPF'd and side windows tinted. Isaiah said that he guaranteed his work 100% at the time of drop off. My wife and I went to pick it a few days later and saw many defects in the PPF and pointed those out to Isaiah right on the spot. He quickly dismissed our concerns and said that it will be fine after it cures/dries out. Well that improvement never occurred! I told him that I've two cars done at other places in Sarasota and have never had these problems before. Isaiah and I have spoken multiple times since then and I told him due to the very poor job they did, I just can't trust bringing it back into them again and would like a refund so I could take it someplace else that can do the job properly. Since that time, he has given me the complete run around and has never refunded my money. I would stay VERY CLEAR of this place as Isaiah like a sales person rather than a business owner and does not back up his words or work. Just had my Transit Passenger Wagon ceramic tinted at Classy Customs. Isaiah was great to deal with and the quality of workmanship was superb! Had the 11 side and back windows tinted in my 2020 Ford Transit Connect XLT van last week. Overall I was pleased with the service and personalized attention, with a couple exceptions. The fitment on the front most windows on the driver's door is less than perfect, with some gap. And they didn't clean after themselves when complete. Also, due to the payment system they use (maybe Square?), I felt compelled to leave a tip, which I did and then later regretted, I mean a quoted service is a quoted service right?). I tipped 15%, which was an extra chunk of money I didn't anticipate. They should state that the tipping is just part of the app and not expected. read more
