Plan to try for the windshield and sunroof panel in the ceramic ( Pinnacle (( affordable enough being ceramic window tint is akin to your driving glasses/SUNGLASSES but ISN'T..)).). YES you can go darker or lighter depending Study first ! But remember accomodations for night cornering driveways etc Matters too.. we took our time testing our doors' films and yes even lighter hues are cooling in long hours driving with sun direct on us and pets even sleep sundrenched ::(( STILL NEVER LEAVE PET WITH WINDOWS UP !!! This job is a 5, I physically have done my own entire house and others doing at least 12 sliding glass door panels with metallic reflective privacy type box store film , I dare Not do curved auto in awkward angling , pros practiced with proper properties Should be interviewed before you Pay for the appropriate glasswear of your Safety's Sake Vehicle you drive/this is not anything for experiment or experience with.. We left the half useful old backshield defroster ALONE, yep heats up hot car more but gets by on nasty cold frosted dangerous nights THAT DOES HAPPEN EVERYWHERE AND DON'T LET SOME SHOP LAUGH/FOOL YOU OUT OF YOUR FUNCTIONING AND VALUED VEHICLE'S SAFETY! Razor Sharp NEVER gave us a bit of flack for keeping old half bubbled rear , it's still fairly easy visibly While a competitor tried teasing us in the next town telling us " Defrost is nothing needed down south anyway, hee hee!".. it actually wasn't a week later It Was COLD FROSTED UP!! We went to more than 8 tinting locations/or numbers tried of in 4 area towns, Took over 2 Months researching: needing Old tint removed, in a Professional ( Business has a presence of Good establishment and conduct )/high enough profile THE WARRANTY WILL BE HONORED at least the next few years for the hundreds spent ( again this is like eyeglasses on your car windows your Also eyewear drivewear )// that it matters More than dude's egos ! Absolutely ! So yes Razor Sharp in Venice : industrial/commerce Park area off 41/Tami just turn right off 41 just past Sleep place ..go down the street it's on right-hand about halfway ??.. go visit / call first , vehicles are worked indoors in clean well-planned out garage , you can wait comfortably out in lobby with tv/movies etc entertaining as like very well. Film inventory is various, not a limited business either. They do quality work. Their online communication and level of customer service has declined unfortunately. Customer service and communication is extremely important to me. I have found another local shop with incredible response time, customer service, and top notch products and installation. The pricing is better too. I have had 2 cars completed by Razor Sharp over the last 10 years and both were excellent quality...no issues. Unfortunately, being a small business owner myself, I have no patience for poor customer service and lack of communication, especially for a returning customer. They have lost my business. read more

My car's dashboard came back with multiple scratches from their work. When I called and left several unanswered voice mails, I finally spoke with the owners. They totally denied that they were responsible for the scratches and offered no retribution. The tinting work was fine but their attitude and condescending tone was totally unacceptable. Horrible work. He will destroy the inside of your car with a water hose. He brought in one of his friends "to help" that peeled half the leather off my rear door and the owners reply was that leather didn't "really need to be there". Broke my middle taillight housing and caused extensive water damage to my $10,000 leather dashboard that is now peeling up and told me he is "just a tint guy". If he pretends like he knows being around nice cars because he has a BMW M5, RUN, don't walk, the other way because he's lying as evidenced by his destruction of my personal property with no offer to make up for it. Exceeded my expectations. Living in Florida I needed to have my windows tinted. My wife chose them based on current reviews. I have a Ram 1500 and had all windows done with middle of the road ( price wise) Lluminary Pinnacle Ceramic coating. I love it. Has cut down on the heat tremendously. It's been about two weeks since I had it done. I plan on getting the windshield done before Summer! Very professional service. Would definitely recommend to anyone! read more

Fantastic service and quality work. I set an appointment, arrived on time and the job was done in about 30 minutes. Needed to have the old tint removed and replaced on my 15 year old F250 that had gone bad. Taking it off couldn't have been easy. Looks like new again, lifetime warranty and no inconvenience. I have been coming to Razor Sharp Window Tinting for years. They are currently doing my 4th car with them. Chris and staff are always professional. My car has always been completed on time and has never had any issues. The tint they use is a great quality. None of my vehicles has every had a problem with it bubbling or pealing. The week before Christmas I tried to make an appointment for Christmas Eve morning to have my daughter's car windows tinted as a Christmas gift. She would be driving over from the East coast of Fl the evening of the 23rd. I found most places, including Razor Sharp, were closed that day but managed to get an appointment for the morning of the 24th at a business in North Sarasota. I also decided to get a window tint gift certificate for my wife's car at Razor Sharp. While securing the gift certificate several days before Christmas I asked if anyone would be willing to come in on the 24th to tint my daughter's car. They informed me they would be closed, but after offering a $100 tip, Tom agreed to come in at 9am to do the job. I cancelled the appointment in Sarasota. I received a phone call from Tom on the 23rd informing me 9am would not work but would get the job done later that morning. Not hearing from Tom by 11:30am I decided to text him. He texted back saying "I have not forgotten about you I have company now but will get your car done later today" By 5pm I had not heard from him. Realizing he probably still had company I texted him and asked if Monday morning would be better for him. My daughter was scheduled to drive back home Monday morning but was willing to leave later if he could tint her windows. We NEVER heard back from Tom. I drove to their shop Monday morning the 26th but it was closed. What a terrible experience!!!! Instead of a surprise Christmas gift, I gave my daughter a check to get her windows tinted when she got back home to Melbourne. I went back to Razor Sharp the next day, cancelled the certificate for my wife's car and got a refund. We've never heard from Tom, the owner or a manager offering an apology for the mishap. Lot's of great reviews for this business, sorry mine is not. read more

My husband and I both had our car windows tinted here, with fabulous results. The owners are super-friendly, professional, and take time to explain the various options. They're precise yet efficient -- you'll be in & out in no time. While you wait, you can watch tv or watch *them* on tv while they tint your windows. There were even toys in the waiting area to keep my son occupied. Just forty-five minutes later, we were on our way. My station wagon now looks totally bad-ass and stays cooler in the sun, to boot. read more

Took my 2017 Mustang to Razor Sharp for window tinting. Very happy with the product and installation! Impossible to tell that it didn't come from the factory like this. Best of all the job was completed in :45 minutes while I waited. Checked prices and Razor Sharp was $100 less than the Ford dealer's aftermarket installation for the exact same product!
