They try and upsell you on many add ons that you don't need for your car (fuel injections, tires that have just been replaced, etc) regardless of the car's age/value, and they frequently do an upsell of about 180 dollars to go deeper than the "free inspection". This add on inspection is very thorough though, and they take videos of different parts of your car, with detailed descriptions of each that you can access for 30 days. Just for full transparency on my car's problem, I had a check engine light go on after a 15 hour drive, and after 1,200 dollars of work, the issue still persisted. They ended up giving me back my car, and quoted me another 5 grand for a very labor intensive part (head gasket), and were very pushy both times with getting me to sign and order the parts right away. I ended up getting a new car since the repairs were worth more than the vehicle, and they didn't offer towing services to the new location. They also took the windshield wipers off of my car before I picked it up to trade in, so I had no wipers?? Overall I think the car was more the issue than Jim Taylor, but I wish I knew all of this info before I came here!

I go back five day later and they hadn't touched my truck. I took my business elsewhere and they refuse to return my insurance deposit. Took them 2, nearly 3 months to complete an engine swap with the engine already provided. Did not…read morecommunicate through out the process of the engine replacement, when called about updates would give vague answers or repeat what they said the following day. Only after already swapping engines did they raise concerns about the condition or quality of the engine being put in. Price charged was nearly double what was quoted at other shops while the quality of work was subpar. Every time I was told I'd be called back I was not and they acted shocked when I would just call them back myself before they closed. Not once was did they ever return a call not even when the work was allegedly finished. Upon getting my car back, immediately noticed they left my cars lights that were previously off on. This led to upon making it home my battery outright dying. I recharged it myself but it was only ever able to hold half the capacity, the car was now also randomly stalling out so I replaced the alternator myself and till had the same issue. When I raised concerns over the repairs they had it towed back and only reviewed the engine swap work after saying they would figure out what's the issue. They spent about a week going over it and ended up only replacing the battery that had I already had warranty for. I was once again able to make it home and to work a single day before breaking down. This time they offered just a tow and told me I'd have to pay to have it diagnosed. Overall a very overpriced shop, which huge gaps in communication and clarity, though I feel that is by design.
