Eldridge is the best run shop I've ever experienced. It is so far beyond just good ole' boys answering the phone while pounding out dents. Eldridge could give lessons on how to run a modern, customer focused business. I'm very pleased and impressed with level of personal attention, responsiveness, and follow-through provided throughout the process. And the body work was top notch! read more

My insurance company recommended Eldridge for body work stemming from storm damage. Front end, hood, and side was fixed and repainted. Upon completion, my car detail guy told me to wait 45 days before cleaning or detailing to allow paint to completely cure. After 45 days I took and had detailed and my front bumper was completely peppered with small paint chips.....like 5-10x more than it had accumulated in the previous 140,000 miles combined! Returned it to the shop where manager expressed total indifference and said I had to have his paint supplier look at it to find out why it happened. 2 1/2 months later, I was still chasing the shop to get the paint guy to look at it. They offered little concern, and made excuse after excuse for paint guy. Ultimately had to have insurance co step in the get money back and take to another body shop to have properly repaired. Horrible experience, zero integrity or pride in their workmanship. Couldn't find one person in the entire shop who cared. Avoid!! read more

Absolutely fabulous! Did a SUPER job fixing my 2018 Honda CRV. Looks like new! Car was ready as promised. Highly recommend.

Although they did not do any work for me, I felt it necessary to leave a review due to the deplorable attitude and manner this place spoke to me when asking for an estimate. The work I was inquiring about was small in nature, I needed to have some door handles painted for an older van, for my elderly parents. The man seemed like he would rather be anywhere else but there and was plain rude. He told me it depended on how long I wanted to wait to get it done and when I pressed further he told me 3-5 days, which to me was not unreasonable; so why the 'tude?? Then when I asked if he could also install them, it was like I asked him to move mountains! He asked rather boorishly if they were aftermarket items and that he didn't want to be involved due to them not painting well. So to further clarify I asked him if he was not interested in the work, and he replied affirmative abrasively. I understand if you don't want to do the job but do you have to be so mean about it? This place gives all repair facilities a bad reputation because women are going to come to the conclusion they will be treated like crap or taken advantage of from places like this. read more

My Mother had the front fender and bumper replaced. They kept their word on the schedule and did what appears an excellent job. They even detailed the car inside and out and fixed some other damaged areas at no additional charge. We were going to give the car to a relative but now it looks to nice and want to keep it. Very happy with the work. read more

They did a beautiful job in a timely manner. They are very professional and friendly, Iwould recommend them highly.

Take it from a former claim adjuster and a current insurance agent in Maryland, this is a top notch body shop. If your car is worthy of good craftsmanship, this is your shop. I will not let anybody else In Sarasota touch my cars but this shop. Fred Weaver read more

We had a car body issue while visiting in Sarasota. We went to Eldridge to see if they could help us out. Jim was very nice and talked to us about the issue, then had Dave come talk to us. Although the guys were on lunch, as soon as they came back from lunch, Dave got us in and the issue was taken care of very quickly and we were on our way. They were very reasonable about what they charged us for the repair. Thank you Eldridge Body Shop!! read more

I chose this place based on their Yelp reviews, but I wish I had taken the time to review their Google reviews as well first. They repaired my driver side rear door, which I have no issue with. What I do have issue with is that they somehow managed to ruin my steering wheel. When I pointed out the large portions of surface area that had been removed from my steering wheel, they suggested it was normal wear and tear. Maybe, but then it all happened over the 4 days they had my car. They did agree to get back with me on the damage, but after two weeks, they came back with the same lame story instead of acknowledging the damage done. Do yourself a favor, check out their Google reviews before using this place. Based on my experience, they are more accurate. read more

I took my car in for an estimate and was greeted by a sour face Mike who very Flatley told me that his computer was down but he could look if I wanted to. I asked him to please look at the car at which point he did he never wrote down the VIN number in his only comment to me was there's body damage to very flatly no explanation nothing. I asked him to please call me with the route with an estimate whenever his computer got back up. A week later I still had not heard from Eldridge body shop for Mike and I shared my experience with my husband since we've been taking cars there for years. He immediately called and told him my experience and complained and was a sure that somebody would get back to me if I called in with the VIN number which I did immediately. It's now been three weeks we never heard back from anyone at Eldridge and we have since taking the car to another body shop. They used to be fabulous but I do not know what's going on with them but they are just horrible and do not care about business. I would look elsewhere from my bodywork read more

Went in for an estimate from a hit and run. On a 10+ year old car, doesn't need to be perfect and not worth fixing it to perfection. Mike the guy who gave the car a look over was extremely rude, not professional and treated me like I was some dumb female who knew nothing about cars. Then was told their computers were down and would receive an estimate when mike could find time for it. And then walked away and back inside. I'm coming in for an estimate to spend money at your shop and was treated like a complete idiot. Absolutely absurd! read more

I have used Eldridge for repairs etc. since 2005---They go above and beyond to repair repaint, replace anything they have done for YEARS----They go beyond any warranty assumed or ever offered. I cannot speak highly enough about this business. I am a 60 year resident of Sarasota. Pat Cohen read more

I wish it weren't so that I have a lot of experience with this company, but that being said, they are my go-to for all things auto body. Family owned and operated, they have been in business for years and their level of craftsmanship and professionalism attests to that heritage. Many years ago I worked for a local new car auto dealership and Eldridge was their default body shop as well. read more

Very friendly staff! This body shop went above and beyond to help me while in town for vacation. Highly recommend.

just got off the phone with them, wanted to get a rough ballpark estimate of how much a dent would be to repair, first off the man was very rude second he interrupted me twice, I am just disappointed since most of the reviews and word of mouth have been pretty good. Just please let me finish talking and give me a chance to explain. Not my first rodeo in getting a car repaired or asking about a repair in general. read more

This is the best body shop I have ever been to, and I've been to a few. Great work, honest, polite, I left smiling.

One of the best experiences I've had with a body shop. I would recommend them for the quality of their work and their earnest, professional and honest customer service. My Honda Insight was restored to perfection after a front end collision. Also, they go the extra step and helped with insurance questions and car replacement. read more

Eldridge Body Shop did an excellent job of repairing our 2016 Acura RDX. Our car had been transported on a truck from Minneapolis to Sarasota, and either battery acid or brake fluid from a car on the upper level of truck had dripped onto our vehicle, corroding right through paint on roof, tailgate, ruining taillight lenses etc. They fixed it completely, and finish looks like new. Very professional, ultra clean facility. Great courtesy and service. Would rate them very highly. read more
