The rear bumper on my car was damaged on each side while parked at the grocery store, on 2 different occasions. One guy left his name and insurance info. So I got quotes from 3 auto repair shops. One bid was $3000 and this auto repair shop did both sides for $1000. The Bumper looks great! I'm glad I took the time to get multiple bids. I would recommend Clark Auto Group. Everything was great until it was time to pay. I was quoted $225 for parts and $120 for labor, which seemed to be very fair. At checkout, an additional $250 was added to labor. Needless to say, I was surprised and a bit embarrassed. $370 for 1 hour of labor seems excessively high. Pros: Service was great, A/C in the waiting room was nice, the scheduling platform was A+. Office staff was friendly. Cons: Lack of clarity at time of quote, adorable family cat triggered my allergies, men's room was in need of cleaning. Overall: Good and bad experience. This is one of the rare times where 5 stars isn't enough! HONEST, really knowledgeable, and truly nice people who take care of you. My experience was FAR cheaper and 100% well done. If I lived in Sarasota, this absolutely is where I'd go. I can't say enough good things about my experience. Russ, the mechanic, and Greg, the owner, are really knowledgeable, friendly, and honest. My 2014 Mercedes' A/C stopped working...days before I am leaving Sarasota to return to my home on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. I called, spoke to Greg, the owner, late on a Monday afternoon. He asked a few questions, and guessed the nature of the problem. I brought it in the next morning. The Freon was low, so Russ added it, but while that made the unit more efficient, it still kicked in and out. They removed the blower motor, and cleaned it, to see if that would fix it...and it did. But testing showed it was on borrowed time. The motor brushes were worn (after 11+ years). It might have continued to work for a few days or weeks or months, but it would need replacement soon. Greg found a cheap replacement that would take a week to arrive. I didn't have a week. So he found a new Mercedes OEM replacement that could be delivered in a few hours. When it arrived,t hey called me, replaced it, and did little, if any, markup on the part. Bottom line, a new Mercedes hvac motor, and freon were under $400 including tax, fixed the same day. Greg is honest and nice. Russ is amazingly nice, experienced, and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain what was causing the problem in an understandable way. And the thing is fixed for 1/3 of what I expected. If ever I could give 6 stars, this would be the time. read more

My daughter drove her car into a pole and dented the fender on her car badly. I got multiple quotes and Gregg's at Clark's auto was $700 cheaper than the other auto body shops. He did a fabulous job. He replaced the fender and the paint matches perfectly, you would never know the car had been in an accident. I recommend this repair shop highly. They also did a full service while they had the car. I do not leave many reviews, but this one is well deserved, for a well kept secret. I was in a bind and needed my car fixed fast after an accident. It needed body work and mechanical - front wheel drive axle broke. I thought the car was totaled, but Greg gave me a price and said it could be a bit higher if the body frame was bent, but that he could easily fix it in a week. The next day he told me the frame was not bent, and he kept very close on both the price and time estimates, and I was running again in less than 2 weeks. The car looks and runs great. Highly recommend Clark Auto Group for any kind of work. He tells it like it is. He was honest, thorough, and worked fast. They also sell used vehicles of all types! I am deeply impressed by the professionalism and work of this company. I have a 2019 Subaru Outback that was damaged when a private trash collector failed to tie down the load on his trailer. As a result, a large sheet of glass slid off of the trailer and smashed right in front of my vehicle, causing damage to the front and driver's side. Greg, who heads Clark Auto Group, gave me a good price to repair the Subaru and gave me a repair date that was within a week of the date of his damage estimate. Other repair shops told me I had to wait at least a month or more for an appointment. Greg and his team did an awesome job on the car. Now, you would not be able to tell it had ever been damaged.
