Bought tires here maybe 2 years ago. Have about 5000 miles on them. I Purchased the extra road hazard warranty. One of the tires was out of round and wobbled. They claimed is was OK .. Went down the hiway and the tire exploded as the tread separated from the steel belts on I75 at 4 pm. Not the best situation. I changed to the spare and went into Tire Kingdom on hwy 14 in Bradenton. One person said they would replace the tire as it was under warranty. The manger stepped in and said NO! they will not replace the virtually new tire I purchased from Tire Kingdom.They sold me crappy tires for the last time. Well it is the day thing. You scan be nice. But when I guy does man explain to me oh hell no. I mentioned that the tires on the back driver side is going down. So the first then he says you have a nail it ? It will be this price . I say I do not know can you check it. Then he say he did see anything . Great customer service! I normally do not write reviews but wanted to share our great experience. I called and they had me come over right away. The repair I had thought was necessary didn't even need to be done! They came out to see the tire and removed the screw and checked it for leaks on the spot. Thankfully it wasn't punctured so they sent us on our way. They easily could have had us drop the vehicle off and charge us for a repair. I am thankful for honest people and we will definitely use this store when we need tires for any of our vehicles. read more

I have just read only 6 other reviews. 3 from females. ALL 3 women complained of being scammed. I am reporting to the BBB. Tire Kingdom is looking at a class action lawsuit. If you are female... beware! My tire blew out today, and I rolled into this Tire Kingdom location. I specifically told the 'gentleman' I was on a tight budget as I recently lost my job, so his most economical tire is what I would have to have. I was quoted 575.00 for ONE TIRE!!! My comment'Keep your tire. I'm not as dumb as I look' I went online to discover he quoted me for literally the MOST expensive tire. I walked back in and asked the manager why this was. He actually tried to tell me that to install the one tire was over 225.00. That is why the price difference. I advised him that made zero sense as the price difference on the tires (mid-quality vs most expensive) was based off of the listed price. All variables equal. 225.00 difference on one tire. I proceeded to act as though I wanted to purchase 2 of the mid-grade tires. I received the quote for total cost... 620.00! My comment in front of other customers 'so a 45.00 difference for TWO tires vs the ONE I was first quoted. I believe I made my point.' How disgusting they would take advantage of someone they felt was in a situation with no other option. WRONG! Other option was to head elsewhere, spread the word, and post this on Yelp. I brought my wife's car in to have a leaky tire repaired under the road hazard warranty. I feel the 90 minute wait was reasonable considering I was a walk in. That's the good part. However, your man Pedro is badly in need of some people skills. I am somebody, who almost religiously wears a mask. However, today while rushing in through the rain, did not have mine pulled up. Pedro reminded me, and I raised it without issue. Later, after more than an hour sitting in a distant corner, I didn't realize I had let it fall again. At this point, Pedro actually scolded me about it. Again, I apologized and pulled it up, which should have ended it. No such luck. I was then flabbergasted that he thought he had to lecture me about it AFTER I had already complied. So, I don't feel bad that I barked back at him, to shut up because I had already complied. He responded, "Don't give me an attitude or I won't fix your car" I never once complained about the mask requirement, and was apologetic both times I was absentminded about it. He was definitely the one giving attitude. Also, I know it's not his fault that his accent combined with his mask, makes him difficult to understand. But, when he asked me a question, and I asked him to repeat himself, he said, "Listen, I know you're hard of hearing." That was completely rude. I've been to 4 shops in 4 months to fix my A/C and some other electrical problems on my 2013 f150. Jim is a great mechanic that walked me through what was wrong and it was spot on. Saved me so much money in repair because they didn't just take my money and charge me for a blower motor or compressor. They walked me through it and made sure I was good with it. While hustling down 75 to make it to a mid-afternoon wedding rehearsal on time, my left front tire ripped open, leaving my two travel mates and me nearly helpless on the side of the interstate. Once a Road Ranger (a.k.a. my hero, a.k.a. the wind beneath my wings) put on my dummy tire, he directed us to the Tire Kingdom just off the next exit in Bradenton. I was disappointed to discover that the store only had a high-end, expensive tire in stock, but I had no choice. "Are you sure you're not trying to take advantage of a young, innocent-looking woman?" I asked the man at the counter. Irked, he slapped the computer monitor around and recreated his tire search steps to confirm that it indeed was the only model available. Yes, I was probably in a bad mood, and yes, I probably provoked his ill response, but still. To top things off, the store was so back-logged, the single tire installation took 3 hours to complete. I know the busy schedule wasn't Tire Kingdom's fault, but overall--a greater availability of tires from every end of the price spectrum would've been optimal. Buyer Beware! I need new tires, I did the research as to the tires I wanted and the price I wanted to pay. Called this location, specified the tires, and made an appointment. First mistake was the person did not order the tires so that they would be there right away in the morning as they had stated on the phone. But the biggest thing the consumer needs to worry about is the additional work that they will recommend. Additionally not only did they recommend it, but they stated that if it wasn't done then warranty would not be valid. I specifically refused any additional work. The total of their estimate was $1742. I took the list to my mechanic and he went over my vehicle and the list thoroughly. I needed $310 worth of work...many of the things should not have even been recommended as there was nothing wrong with it. Additionally they wanted to charge me for an additional part that would be part of the larger part they were charging me for. Their prices were very inflated for being a large corporation as they were double what a small company was able to make a profit at. And yes per the other reviewer, I also felt that this was done with the assumption that they could intimidate a woman into paying for more than what she needed. Had an alignment the first time and brought it back to fix the alignment for them to tell me nothing helpful. That the alignment is fine. It still pulls to the right. I'm taking my truck somewhere they have mechanics that know what they're doing. Don't waste your money time or frustration. My tires are new and they say I need new tires. Not happy at all with my experience here today. Usually my experience is great. However, I setup an appointment to get my tire checked that I purchased in December. Got here earlier than appointment time another customer before me without appointment purchased 4 tires. Not sure how the customer without an appointment was finished and out of the shop before me. When I brought this concern to the staff personnel handling my tire issue his response was, I can't stop working with someone else to help someone just because you have an appointment, it's only me. My name is Mike, I was in last week with my wife and when we walked in an enormous biker guy greeted us with a smile and a warm handshake. He offered to help us as they were pretty full and running all over the place. My wife started talking and he quickly became aware that she is clueless about tires and cars. He was very patient with her and I tried not to override her efforts to get help. She had a few problems with her handling and road shaking when driving and he asked her a lot of questions to fully understand what her needs were. He worked with her until she bought a new set of tires and an alignment. He was so very pleasant to work with. He treated my wife with respect and didn't act condescending to her at all. All in all we spent two hours there and he engaged us in conversation and gave updates that we appreciated. I don't know if these reports go to the company but I can tell you that Jim has earned my business here in Bradenton. Made an appointment for my day off to bring my car in to have the tires remounted and balanced, and the salesman said they would also inspect them to make sure they were in good condition and safe. After they were done, I was about to leave when I noticed the tire pressure warning light was on. I mentioned this to the salesman before I left, and he said it was "no big deal and it will reset itself". The next morning, I go to leave for work and I have a flat tire. I take it in, and they say the bead on the tire is shot and the tire needs to be replaced. Weren't they supposed to have checked that before? Now, I get to miss work and purchase new tires. Horrible customer service here, and their District manager won't return my calls. I'd avoid this place from now on. read more

Then I go to another mechanic and he tells me that there is no possible way it's the tires. Tire Kingdom is full of incompetent jerks who are trying to rip you off. Well I have been in here so many times with my car I figured I should review it. I've had several repairs done on my car in the last 3 years. Had my Fuel pump croak on me across the street and managed to limp it over to their garage. They were able to replace it and do an oil change in under 2 hours and only cost around $345. Had my rear tire rupture and again limped it to their garage and replaced both rear tires and rebalanced them in under about an hour for about $180. Then brought the car there when my transmission lines to and from the radiator blew out and again they fixed it in about 2 hours on the spur of the moment for about $125. I've never had any complaint about there service. All in all they do great work. Never had a complaint and relatively speaking their prices are fair for the area, For example when I had the Fuel pump replaced it was about $325, I had another 2 garages offer to replace the fuel pump for $450 and $550 respectively. And when my Transmission lines blew out and my tranny bled to death, I can tell you most garages would have pushed for a transmission flush on top of the repair, When I asked them if they reccomended it they said... (no point, your tranny bled out over 2/3 of what it had in it. All a flush would do it suck out the last third, which in your case with your Tranny being almost 20 years old would do more harm then good, Besides your filters relatively new and replacing that much lost fluid will amount to a flush essentially). In essence they turned down an easy $169 because it wasn't necessary. That's how you know you have a trust worthy mechanic, when they have someone willing to throw money at them and they turn it down in the best interest of the customer. Because of that I'll go to them for any major repairs from here on out. And you should to! read more
