Lucky for me, I live in the Rosemary district and Goodyear is close. Twice in the past week I've had some what I thought were tire issues and had to stop by to get things checked out. I have a 2025 MB, and the problems ended up not being real issues, but I didn't know that when I stopped by. Both times the people at the desk were most helpful. Yesterday, Josh went out of his way to help me - it was a simple matter for him, but not for my wife and I. He couldn't have been more helpful and I appreciate that. I've been going to this store for years but since they put Richard Davis in the back and got a new manager it is a disaster....I dropped my tire off and the manager was three hours late....they couldn't open the store ..the next day I left my tire there and he never called me back ..Finally I called two days later and went to pick it up....thank God Richard came out... everything ran smoothly after that....if I owned this store I would be aware of who made me $$$$...I'm not going back until Richard is in charge.. Bottom Line: I always get good service going to this name brand - and this time was no different. Was out of town for the week. I needed an oil change and the timing was good to get it done while in this area. I found a Goodyear and called. Went in and told them that I knew I needed tires, so when they inspected my car I asked them to tell me "just how bad they were". They called me out to the garage and showed me the rear tires while the car was up on the lift. They were B.A.D. They quoted me a price and I said go ahead. I was only going to do the back but then one of the guys showed me that the front was bad and told me that the price the manager had quoted me was good. I said go ahead do all four. The guy said " I promise you, I am not sales pressuring you - but I wouldn't want my wife or sister driving on these tires". I called both my sons and told them what I was quoted and they both said I got a great deal and a good set of tires. Bottom Line: whenever I go to any Goodyear - I always feel like I'm being treated fairly and honestly. The employees are usually long time employees who take pride in their service and they want those repeat customers. I'll always be a repeat Goodyear customer. read more

Over priced. Horrible staff. I went in for an oil change and they tried to sell me new brakes. I knew I was probably going to need new brakes soon but my car was running smoothly with maybe a little bit of a sound coming from my car every time I braked. But I felt fairly safe driving my car. I probably could've gone ATLEAST a few weeks without getting my brakes changed. Then they took off my brakes and when I said I couldn't afford to do them there, the mechanic came inside and started yelling at me. When i left their shop, my car started making a GOD AWFUL sound that wasn't their before and I didn't feel safe driving it. My boyfriend is convinced they did a botched job putting the brakes back on to my car because they weren't going to get the commission from replacing my brakes. I had to take off of work for 2 days because of them. Unacceptable. They asked for $900 for new brake pads and rotors. I took my car to another shop and they did it for me for $450!!! So, on vacation and of course, developed battery trouble in my car. Had plans for dinner on a holiday Saturday night in Sarasota and had no idea if battery would last (it was hurting bad). Called this Goodyear shop late in the day and asked if they could replace my battery. They found the battery and gave me a window of time where they could replace mine which fit perfectly within our dinner plans so we drove to their shop. Richard and Gregory were fantastic. Got me a very good Die Hard battery, installed it in minutes and my wife and I made it to our dinner reservation with time to spare. It was late Friday afternoon when I frantically called around to find an auto service that could help me out near my art festival at JD Hamill Park. Used to be good, over the past year they have broken my splash guard twice only replacing it the first time. The second time they broke both halves of the splash guard and the mounting harness. I had a replacement front drive axel (left and right) installed and 2 days after installing it they fell apart. They had to replace it again, claiming it was the aftermarket parts they use but they were able to get it together this time. A year later and now out of warranty it fell apart again. Luckily I wasn't in traffic at the time. This shotty work is going to kill somebody!! They also put the wrong atf in my transmission, even after I told them maxlife is not compatible (that's even according to Mazda). Now I am not getting any help or refund from them or Goodyear corporate. Screw this place! Stay away!! read more

I have scheduled appointments twice and showed up for my service and have been told I need to wait for a couple of hours to get serviced. Because the took in cars from the state. I am a customer that bought tires and had brakes replaced showing my loyalty. But none is shown back to me. Also I drive from palmetto because their is the closest one or tampa. Matt and his crew are always so polite and have always provided good quality work and fair pricing. We use them for repairs (Mercedes, Lexus, GMC) and also have found the pricing on tires to always be the best in town. COVID has the hours reduced but they still manage to fit us in when we need it. read more

Took my car in to have a tire checked that was losing air. Adam told me they found a nail in the tire close to the face of the tire which could not be repaired - I would need to replace it for $189.00. Ordered tire, returned, left car, they called because they could not remember which tire needed replacing! Ended up to to be the wrong tire, had to be reordered. So very much time spent with some real dufusses!!! So thankful now for Goodyear's screw up!!! Several people told me to go to Lanning Tire. I did the next day. I told them I needed a new tire. They asked why and took the time to check it first and found that it was an easy $20 repair. 20 minutes later I was back on the road with my repaired tire!!! read more

Always demand that all work be authorized prior to the repair or service completed, and ask for an explanation of all repair options available. My elderly sister had taken her 2015 Hyundai vehicle in for an oil change, but some of the additional work completed on the vehicle was not authorized, and she was deceived by sales staff by not disclosing available options and pricing for services rendered. I called the Goodyear Corporate office in Ohio on behalf of my sister and explained the situation. The friendly corporate staff apologized for the issues my sister was having and had one of their helpful regional managers contacted me the same day to resolve the issue. Within two days my sister received a refund for the unauthorized services and repairs. I give Five (5) Stars for the Goodyear Corporate staff and regional manager in resolving the issue in a timely and satisfactory manner. read more

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I've always had great service from Goodyear but this place is the worst. I will drive out of my way to go to another location instead of going here again. WARNING! Don't waste your money on their services because it's not worth it. About 15% over the price I can pay elsewhere, but the quality of work was excellent. So, I guess the question is, do I want to pay about %15 more for services than I do elsewhere to get great quality? I get good quality with much less, so, no, I don't. I truly value the facility and the work that was done. It was excellent and my car is like new. I had about $750 worth of services done. The service employee tried to upesell me not once, but two times. I didn't want all the flushes and other work that would have totaled $1,200. I suppose he is made to do that, so not his fault. That said, I thought the staff was patient, friendly and professional. And the quality of work and my tires is superior. I just think this facility does a bit of price gouging, so I'll return to my mechanic where I used to live or find someone new.
