It's a dangerous place to service a car. I had my oil changed there on Friday. But when I got home late at night, I noticed smoke coming from under the hood. Turns out it was all flooded with oil. They forgot to tighten the filter (or forgot to put a gasket in, not sure). About a quart of oil had escaped. My driveway is also stained with oil. They are closed for the weekend, none of the phones were answered. Monday morning I drove in asking for a check up. However, the manager (Luke?) tried to convince me that it was a leak from the engine. After an unpleasant conversation (he even wiggled my accent - sorry, my English is not perfect), the car was looked at by a mechanic. The problem was fixed in a minute - it turned out that it was their mistake after all. I asked for the oil to be changed again, as I had refilled with a quart of a different grade. The manager refused, and in a mocking manner offered a refund. I don't need a refund, but I do need the work done properly. Also, the vehicle needs to be cleaned - oil splattered all the way to the rear axle, oil burning on the manifold, oil is on the wiring harnesses. The manager said he would do a claim and that I would be contacted shortly. It's been 6 days, but no one has contacted me. I would like to note that the shop is staffed by excellent guys. However, the manager acting so unprofessionally and insolently that I will never go there again. BTW, I was surprised that such a large, nice shop is actually idle - I was there 3 times and each time there was almost no one there - the boxes were empty. Made an appointment for 11am, there was no wait even though they were busy. We got an oil change and tire rotation. The staff is incredibly nice,they took the time to explain the difference in oils(synthetic/part synthetic,etc). Gave us a range of options instead of just pushing the most expensive one and had a genuine concern for us as customers instead of just trying to make money. The wait area is clean,odorless,well maintained and has a tv on and toys to keep the kids entertained. Finished in just over an hour and our car was returned without incident. Brandon, Rubin and Ray took great care of my car. Explained why they could not fix the issue. The issue is because Mini (BMW) is Mini(BMW). And only the stealership wizards can do an ECM swap and have the right magic to program the new brain. The 3rd party that most independent shops use is not ve ry helpful with MINI (BMW) sorcery. They know their stuff and do good work without charging a arm and a leg like many others. Also the lady that made the comment about a guy making YouTube videos, I searched around yesterday out of curiosity and think I found him (RRR?) and if it is then you probably should've watched a couple of his videos. I'm decent with my hands but that guy seems on another level and if anything he seems to be too nice to customer/ tries to help customers too much. At least from the couple videos I watched, then again it was only a couple videos so far but still. The crew, specifically Ray, took great care of my car. I knew that I needed brakes all around and asked them to do a comprehensive inspection of my car from bumper to bumper. They recommend the brake pads and gave me options of new or machined rotors, and explained the pros and cons of each option. They also recommended a fluid flush. Brought my car in to be fixed, we were recommended by a friend. They reassured me after the diagnosis they knew how to fix my Honda and I took it home after paying 600 dollars. Not even 24 hours went by and my car was still in the same if not worse condition than when I brought it in to get fixed. They said they replaced my spark plugs which we soon saw, were still burnt and oily and not brand new. They gave us some of our money back but I DO NOT recommend anyone to spend money here! read more

I thought that I found the right repair shop for me. I noticed that the integrity was going down hill. I got a new battery there and noticed that the latch on the battery compartment was broke. Derrick made good on that. All's good. The next time I brought my car for servicing . A couple of weeks later I noticed that the oil indicator was not reset and the washer reservoir cap was missing and that a white bottle cap was in it's place. I brought the car back to the shop and had the indicator reset and the missing cap was ignored by the mechanic. To avoid an altercation I took my car to the dealer where the oil change was questionable. I also paid about $20.00 for a new cap. I will continue to have any work done at the Cadillac Dealership where I know that I will be treated with respect with no B.S. read more

After being a customer for many years I became suspicious that my tires weren't being rotated when they did my oil changes, so I "marked" one and discovered I was right! Now one year after purchasing new tires I have cupping from the tires not being rotated properly! My guess is, they never rotated them!! I'm no longer a customer and would caution against using them! read more

I drove down to FL from Maine after having my car inspected and serviced- that shop had me pay a lil under $300 to fix an oil leak- I was bummed out because I just bought new tires and had a new Cadillac converter installed twice to pass the inspection already but I did what I had to do so I could be legal and they "fixed" it slapped a sticker on it an sent me on my way. I pull into Sarasota FL 27 hours later and immediately go for an oil change- that's when all hell broke loose because the tech refused to change my oil and told me I had a massive oil leak- oil all over everything and it was all in the front of my engine and had saturated everything....he didn't feel right taking my money an assumed it'd just pour out if he did. I took it to another shop here in Sarasota that claimed to specialize in my make and model and I paid $118 to leave with an estimate that totaled $2952.20 addressing everything BUT the oil leak. This is a used 2013 cruze nothing fancy folks- That's when I took a chance and brought it to the hero's at Pit Stop on bee ridge. They didn't play games and just charged me a more than fair price to clean up the oil so they could properly diagnose the leak, now this made sense unlike the other place! They took the time and made the effort to find and FIX the leak saving me from doing serious damage to my engine. They were honest and fair and able to fix this problem that was impossible for everyone else. They won my business for future repairs. read more

This auto repair shop is the best . Last week I had some major repairs done to my car and this shop was so professional. They had my car ready the same day, exactly when they said it would be ready. Rubin was very kind to me and explained everything that was needed to get my car running. This week my car sounded like a helicopter was under it so I brought it to the Pit Stop and they took care of it right away. The best part was that he did not charge me stating it was a small fix. I tried to save $50 by having the oil changed and a new battery put in my car at Pit Stop instead of the deal. On the way home I noticed smoke coming out of the hood of my car. I got the car home and oil started leaking on my garage and driveway. When I took the car back they noticed the oil cap was not tight and oil splashed over my engine, etc. The new battery Pit Stop installed also failed within 60 days. I got another battery from the dealership. Pit Stop would not refund my money on the failed battery. They just gave me a new one to store in my garage. A simple oil change and battery cost me 5 hours of my life I will never get back. Sigh. read more

I brought my car in today for them to check the alignment on my vehicle that they did in March, I dropped my car off at 12:30 picked my car up at 2:15 they said everything was fine with the car ! Great ! Unfortunately I noticed my air pod pros were missing from console. I asked who drove the car and who looked at the car they said Deyundre was the only one in my car. They said on the cameras they can't see everything and this is just something unfortunate that happened. Moral of this review Is Deyundre steals people's things out of the car. My item is AirPod pros that's $250-300 Apple product i have to take a loss for because this employee Deyundre doesn't want to give them back. NOT a TRUSTWORTHY PLACE. read more

I had some tires swapped out here. They were quick and professional. They had to put the old ones in the back of my suv and they put plastic down to protect the interior. When I was there I overheard them tell customers that there was nothing wrong with their vehicle that couldn't be fixed with something minor. The waiting areas and bathroom were really clean.
