As inconvenient as vehicle issues can be, coming here takes the sting off a lot! I haven't come across one member of this crew that hasn't gone above and beyond to find the best solution for me and my vehicle, rather than just collect money and get me out the door like so many other places. They're all just cool, down-to-earth professionals. In dealing with a pretty specific and unique situation with my vehicle that had me at MANY other service centers where multiple mechanics couldn't figure out a basic issue or gave completely incorrect information, I eventually brought my vehicle here and almost immediately the technician was able to come inside and thoroughly explain the issue, how they were going to fix it and then how to continue properly preventing future issues down the road pertaining to literally just a tire/rim issue. I was going on a road trip to Missouri and my son noticed my front tires would not make the trip. My son is VERY anal about checking things and bringing them to my attention (note:if a lug nut had been missing, he would definitely have noticed). So, I went to look at the tires and completely agreed with him. I was very pleased to find that *this* facility had appointments available THAT day. I declined an alignment because I had to get on the road and planned to get one when I got back a week later. After loading up the car to leave, my son noticed that I was missing a lug nut on one of newly replaced tires. I just happened to have lug nuts and grabbed one to put on and noticed the stud was actually broken. By that time, this facility was closed and I had to get on the road. I grabbed the service report, and what was documented was, "Vehicle missing multiple wheel locks and one lug/stud in the front. Customer declined alignment." "Missing wheel locks?" They had regular lug nuts, so, at this point in time, not a problem. The attendant did ask me if I wanted an alignment and I did decline. However, the attendant that went out to get the tire size, never told me I was missing a lug nut prior to starting the tire replacement (much less the stud). The "technician" that replaced the tire *must* have noticed that he only had 4 lugs to remove because the 5th was broken off, never mentioned it. The person that cashed me out never mentioned it. At NO point did ANY person tell me that a stud was broken, prior to service (hmm...maybe it wasn't missing before they worked on it???). It was certainly documented that I declined the alignment (see the communication there???), but nowhere does it say I declined to have the "stud problem" repaired...because at no time did ANY of the people communicate this with me. This tire was looked at on 4 separate occasions but somehow, divine intervention caused my lug stud to become "broken" after the tire replacement. Instead of owning up to accidentally breaking the stud, Josh, the Assistant Manager I spoke with, offered to "do right by me," by replacing the wheel bearing that they obviously broke....at a cost of $350. This service center has serious integrity issues, resulting in repairs that now have to come out of my pocket! I will never use this place again. They created a problem and want me to trust them to fix it...AND pay for it! read more

This location has the best customer service! I have come here several times without an appointment and depending on what I need they are done within an hour or so. If I have an appointment it is quicker! There is another Tire Kingdom close to my house but I come to this one because Jerry works with me to get me the best deals on tires. The manager is rude, has no customer service and would not listen or let me show him proof that I had that they messed up big time. Put the wrong mileage in their system, about 45,000 mile less when I bought tires from them, then when I had an issue he told me the mileage was too high and would not refund me. Put the front low profile tires on the back, and when I came in to have the front tires patched due to a nail being in it, they changed out my tires without telling me and put older tires on my car. It's poorly managed, he treats the customers awful, the shop (use to be clean now it's filthy) and I really believe he's trying to steal from the customers. I've called to complain and am waiting to hear back from the general manager of the stores in the area. read more

Stopped by for an oil change and tire rotation. Also had a right front blinker out as well. After the service was told that the breaks needed changed for $700 and the blinker would cost $85 which I refused right away. I told them I would "think about the breaks" even though they insisted that I set an appointment, and I left. I went to Firkins and had the breaks changed and drums rotated as well for $400. I ordered the bulb on Amazon for $2.50 and replaced it in less than two minutes. Half a minute spent getting the hood open. Not sure what kind of business this is but I wouldn't take my car there if they were the only place in town. read more

I pulled into the Tire Kingdom on Hwy 301 in Palmetto. I was initially told they were busy and had an appointment available in three days. I told them I needed help now and the manager took a look at the flat tire and responded that he couldn't touch the tires because of a Florida Law that the tires were over five years old and he was prohibited from "touching them". He suggested that I put on 4 new tires for $1000. The existing tires had about 10,000 miles and were in good condition. I put air in the tire and drove to the next tire store, which repaired the flat and said that "Tire Kingdom" had a "reputation for deceiving the public. Scheduled a service online and it gave me a out the door price. I went to the appointment & waited 2 hours total. Within the the first hour they finally put my vehicle on the lift. They began to change my tires and then they found out that they didn't have THE TIRES IN STOCK. So in conclusion, I waited (2) hours for someone to tell me that they don't have the tires in stock. I will say this tho, the manager on duty made it right by giving me a discount. 1.) You don't have a customer schedule a service and then have them wait (2) hours for you to tell them that you don't have the items in stock. Just saying. Not, "we have to order them from another store" " we found out that we actually don't have the other (2) tires in stock at the moment" be careful what you put out on your website if your not gonna follow through with what is on the web. 2.) Normally I'm not one to complain or really post reviews but from a professional standpoint that is indeed NOT professional. I have been here about 10 times and a lot of these other reviews are a pretty good description of what to expect at this location. I highly recommend making all appointments online, every time I've called to make an appointment, some gentlemen puts me on hold and 20 minutes later I'm never gotten back with. When I was waiting for a service I was curious if the hold was because of the men working were busy. For fun I called while waiting in the lobby, the gentlemen who answered the phone with no customers said hello and please be on hold for a moment. So that confirmed my suspicion, no matter the situation you will most likely be put on hold and forgotten about. The only high point of this location and the reason this location doesn't get a lower rating is the women that work customer service. Super friendly and extremely efficient. Probably wouldn't hurt for them to teach the men a little bit about working with customers and multi tasking. The last negative thing I have to say is the continuation of two hour waits for oil changes is extremely ridiculous. read more

Traveling in unfamiliar territory as a solo elderly woman in my mid-70s, I was guided to an angel @ Tire Kingdom this past weekend. Ms. Season went out of her way to help me after the tire warehouse delivery service had closed for the day. She personally drove to the warehouse to retrieve my new tire and had it installed by great staff @ Tire Kingdom that stayed late so I could get back on the road to return home before nightfall.(Any elderly driver can appreciate this small gesture with the lack of night vision approaching.) I can't recall or recommend better customer service! Untrustworthy staff. I live in Pennsylvania most of the year and a quick check over by the guys at Panzer Performance (excellent auto shop in Bradenton) informed me that needed to get new tires before heading back home. I did lots of research and Tire Kingdom was the only shop that had the Michelin Cross Climate tires available without a multi-day wait. At my appointment, a service staff member came out to tell me that my "rear brake pads are worn to 2mm" and my "rotors need to be resurfaced" for $390. This claim came complete with a description of how brakes work and how dangerously worn mine are. We called over to Panzer and they confirmed that the Tire Kingdom staff were trying to take me for a fool. Saying, "Tell them flat out NO." A different mechanic told the same story (bad brake pads and rotors) to another guy while I was waiting! Get prompt service somewhere else. Scheduled an Appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. They pulled the car in on time. Put it on the lift and an hour later they still hadn't even started draining the oil. The car just sat there on the lift while they worked on other cars that, I assume, didn't have an appointment. (Only so many appointment slots per hour). Do NOT use tire Kingdom if you want prompt service. An Oil Change and Tire Rotation should take 15-20 minutes. I know because I almost always do my own Oil Change and Tire Rotation. Nice people, probably hard working. And they didn't appear to be understaffed. This is the second time I came in for this kind of service with an 'appointment'. This is the second time I sat excessively long. Tire Kingdom, do not have an Appointment System if that just means the appointment customer gets put in the que line behind people that may have shown up already and don't have an appointment. Went there for a leaking tire. It had a nail in it They wouldn't patch it because it "wouldn't hold" It was "within an inch of the sidewall" I was four hours from home do my options were limited. They put a new tire that didn't match because they couldn't find the right tire $129.00 When I got home I told my mechanic of 20 years The story and he said it was all BS. I took my car in because it was leaking antifreeze and hot. I know they were busy but they squeezed me and I appreciated that. A few hours later they gave me an estimate which was way more than I expected, and they recommended I replace the shocks as well. I'm not sure why the shocks when the problem was in the front, but since it was already there I told them to do the work. At the end of the day I called because no one called me to say it was done. I picked it up and headed home, it was very hot by the time I got home. Took it back the next day, they had it all day with no phone call so again I called. They said they hadn't figured out what's wrong with it, so they needed it another day. By the next day at about 1 I figured I'd call again and was told it might be a temperature issue (wouldn't that be a thermostat??), but they still hadn't had time to really check it. I told them I shouldn't have to pay any more since they didn't fix the problem the first time and they said I can pick my car up because they aren't doing the work for free. What happened to mechanics who try to figure out why the car overheated in the first place instead of just putting a new radiator and all hoses on something that is going to just overheat again? So they could find that the shocks need replaced, but not why it was overheating. They had no problem parking my car outside for me to pick up and be stranded by the side of the road on my way home. They should only do tires, no mechanical work. read more

Shop around. Selling Walmart tires with Beverly Hill pricing to mount them. Not a good deal !!! The website states many specials.... when you show up in person, they say "no special on your size tire". This "incredible" crew forgot to put the screws in the lower panel of my car when they changed the oil, causing damage to my car. Today I talked to the manager Eric who didn't want to take responsibility for the incident. Furthermore he asked one of his employees for his opinion which was the same (obviously since Eric was his manager) shocker, right? Not only does Eric lack a lot in the customer service area but he also acted terribly as a boss putting his employee in an awkward situation. My mustangs rear right tire had to be patched the tire had less than 20k miles on it. Manager said it couldn't be done not enough tread which is BS then another manager came in and stated "we have to replace both rear tires cause it's rear wheel drive" I'm not a mechanic but.... Obviously false. I told him I went to the tire kingdom on 64 in bradenton they just replaced the rear left one no problems. Managers response "go to that tire kingdom then". Joke for management. They replaced the rear right once they saw I wasn't falling for that. Hopefully won't be back to this location. Will say though mechanics are quick and the kid at the register was very nice. Managers need to learn how a car works before making recommendations. Just my opinion. read more
