The need for a front end alignment and new tire on the family van led me to Tire Kingdom. Because I had previously purchased 4 new tires for a family member and was pleased with the service and I had read reviews, I chose to go here again. The original appointment for both needs I used the Tire Kingdom website and chose the time during the week and after my work. I arrived on time but needed to wait due to a backlog. Later, the manager updated me that they could not complete the front end alignment because they do not have a mechanic scheduled late in the day. I did receive, however, the new tire. The manager apologized and said that I would need to schedule the alignment during the day. With a rescheduled appointment during the morning, I arrived on time and the work was completed within an hour as I waited onsite and worked using my laptop and a hotspot. The store is fairly clean. For the waiting customers, seats are located in the front area and the back section where a coffee maker and Satellite TV are located. They're okay for tires but I won't use them again for other repairs after they fix the part they broke during my alignment.

I had a nail in my tire, and they patched it for me in no time. They also gave me a diagnostic sheet of mechanical issues that I should get repaired. I looked it over, and it was concerning as I've owned my 2015 Avalon for 10 years. I took it to my mechanic to have my oil changed and tires rotated, and asked them to check the items that they recommended getting repaired. They were all bogus, which tells me that they need to stick with selling tires. I recommend them for tire repair and maybe buying new tires. read more

I had the best experience! The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I did my homework beforehand and received two estimates from other popular tire shops. One tire shop was not only more expensive, they tried selling me a set of tires I absolutely did not want and they were very persistent. This Tire Kingdom did not try to upsell. I called ahead and they ordered my tires and ensured they had the proper oil filter in stock for my Volvo since I had decided to have them change my oil as well. I'm not knowledgeable enough to give Tire Kingdom in Altamonte Springs a 5. They do have long term employees and management which you do not see in many auto repair shops. They seem to only do the work that is needed. I've been coming here for about 5 years now and have not had reason to stop. Former "go to" locations were left because I found out one that I trusted had used a a reconditioned part instead of new and one place had constant turnover in management. I'm not mechanically inclined and tend to stick with a place as long as I trust them and they seem to be doing a good job. The hours are great and you can make an appointment. I tend to buy two tires at a time to spread out the expense a bit. I've been pleased so far and have new rear tires as if yesterday. UPDATE: Management has changed at this Tire Kingdom and I can no longer give them a good review. Over the last month I've attempted to make an appointment 5 times when I was put on hold to never be picked up again. I overlooked it and was actually able to make an appointment to buy 4 tires. Once I was there I realized that management had changed and I was still willing to go there since I've been a customer for 5 years. Initially they had told my 18 year old son how much it'll cost to have him bring his brand new 4 tires for them to install over the phone. As soon as my son came in and these people realize he was just a child , they told him it will cost more just because of his rims. I searched for 2 days online looking for a good deal for my 2021 Toyota Tundra tires. I found what I thought was a good deal. However below is what happened to me. I made an appointment through tire kingdoms website (not a third party) for 6pm on Thursday. I arrived 25 minutes early to make sure they had enough time to get things done. I made the reservation for 4 tires and an alignment (you supposed to get this done anytime you get new tires). The total cost would have been about $750. Upon arriving I noticed my name was not on their reservation list. I waited about 10 minutes for someone to come out and talk to me. As the person walked from the shop into the customer service area he was talking to the employees in the back says " I should just lock up and call it a day". Then turns around to greet me. At this point I inform him that I had booked an appointment but that I didn't see my name in the board and he says oh that's probably because you made your appointment online at another store it happens all the time. I told him no this is the store as I had the confirmation text message. He asked to see the email which I showed at which point he proceeded to tell me it was because I also booked an alignment and that his alignment person left at 530. So the computer changed my appointment to 5pm. Well of course I was never notified of this and he says I was just he third person today to have an issue with the online process and that he wishes they would fix the problem. So I then said well I guess I'm shit out of luck is what your saying? He then said well I could get you done around 9pm. 9pm really. So basically it was a waste of time and I feel like this guy just didn't want to deal with anyone else. I find it hard to believe that only 1 person can do an alignment. You mean to tell me the manager doesn't know how to do it all ? He offered me an appointment for the next afternoon which was unacceptable as I work and use my truck for work. If I was available/wanted an appointment on Friday I would have made one for Friday. Instead I'm now forced to drive 500 miles on shitty tires that I had planned to replace. I have used this company before and never had this type of issue. I would try them again but not this shop. The following day the manager contacted me and apologized for the experience. He assured me there would be no further issues and that the company was fixing the computer issue so to my experience. I went in on Monday and had all 4 tires as well as my alignment done. It was done correctly and in the time frame which was discussed. If I didn't have the issue to start with my review would have been 5 stars. read more

Our car started acting funny while my wife was driving this was the first place to pull in so she did. They took the car straight back and told her they "started" the diagnostic test but couldn't finish it till later that evening or the next morning. The next day they called and said it was an O2 sensor and it was gonna cost $445 (the sensor is $50). A friend got her a discount so it was only $370. First issue was the diagnostic test was supposed to be free, witch their employee said if they did the work, like all other repair shops...but they changed it to 50% off and said that the employee is new it didn't know. Secondly I know they wouldn't start a diagnostic without finishing it so I knew that was a lie so that she couldn't take the car without paying all of the diagnostic fee. Either way the work was supposedly done and she picked up the car and a couple of hours later the check engine light was back on. This time I went with her to see what they would say. After about 20min they came back and said "it must not be the O2 sensor it's probably the catalytic converter".(it's a 2020 Chevy traverse). My wife said my body language and facial expression said it all. He immediately said "it should be covered under warranty and I'm going to give you a full refund right now" but we didn't even ask for a refund. So that tells me everything I needed to know. They never did a diagnostic test and probably never changed the O2 sensor and just completely ripped her off not thinking she would come back with me. Mechanics need to stop trying to take advantage of women and I will never come to the store again. read more

My tires were really bad and I did not feel safe driving any more with them, so I called around but I struggled to get a quick appointment. I finally called tire kingdom and got an appointment and they price matched another quote I got from another company. However when I arrived at the location I was told they could not see me that day after I was clearly told on the phone that they could . They explained that I was talking to a call center and they only had two technicians on the floor and fully booked. I was extremely disappointed. However as we were sitting in the car trying to find another place Myles came out to say they will figure it out and squeeze us in. Customer service at its best. I almost wanted to cry I was so grateful to Myles at that moment and will never forget the compassion showed to me on this day. The price was reasonable and it was done with a great attitude even though it took them to complete after their closing time at 5 pm. Took my girlfriend's Chevy to T.K. this Sunday for an oil change and tire pressure check. It took 5 hours, but the guy at the counter explained that if you don't make an appointment they will just keep pushing you back until they have time. That would be okay if they would let you know when you get there that they have a ton of appointments and it might take 5 hours. But whatevs... we can shrug that off. Next - I guess they don't have to, but - it would've been nice to have a sticker telling her when her next oil change is due. I'll make one for her when I got home, but well... they do oil changes and the like for a living, not me. Also her tire pressure light was still on when we picked it up. They guy said when he checked it, they were all at 20psi, and let us know that this was not a good pressure...thanks. I assumed that meant he put air in them. Maybe I shouldn't have assumed. I was looking for a new place to get my car's oil change and tire rotation done. In the past I've gone to either the Honda dealer or Jiffy Lube, but got tired of the upselling from the dealership and the relative high cost at Jiffy Lube. I found Tire Kingdom when they offered online to do an oil change for $25 and included the tire rotation for free. That's less than many places will charge for just the oil change. When I went in, I was immediately greeted by a very friendly gentleman who also happened to be a fellow Gator fan. He got me set up and they looked at my car right away. Without prompting from me, they confirmed my suspicions that the battery was about to die and also explained that I needed new shocks, which made sense as I noticed some ride changes. While these were additional services, it didn't feel like upselling to me as I knew that these were potential problems that needed to be taken care of. The gentleman even looked into getting a discount for me off the services. 2 hours later, everything was done and my car was good to go. Rick, the manager, checked me out and he was a pleasure to talk to. I'm definitely coming back the next time I need my car serviced. read more
