My husband and I have been doing to going to Discount Tire for several years and they never fail to provide excellent customer service. Late this Saturday afternoon my husband hit a large pothole and damaged two tires and a rim. We had his Audi towed to Discount and within minutes, we received a phone call with an estimate a timeline. It's rare to find an automotive shop that you can trust and count on, but Discount is definitely one of them. read more

I had a screw lodged in my tire and ended up with a flat. The tires had been bought at this location so I brought it in for fixing. Owen was the associate helping me and even though there were some issues with the computer and locating my previous purchase, he was able to provide excellent service regardless. The location is going through a renovation so the temporary place is small, cramped, and honestly got pretty crowded but Owen handled everything like a pro. Elliott was the gentleman who actually worked on my car and even though we only spoke briefly, he also had a great attitude and great customer service. Overall, the value of everything was less than I expected and I was able to get my tires fixed. read more

I made my appointment for 9am and got right in. They were very busy but every I noticed was pleasant and patient. The gentleman who helped me was great. Very personable and informative. Shares his findings and offered solutions. Even up sold me. Yes, it was something I really needed (back windshield wipers). . Store was clean and well maintained. I have used this store a few times and have never had any issues. They stand behind their service and products. Highly recommend. read more

I recently discovered a nail in my tire. I drove here straight after work. They ordered my tire and called me when it came in the next morning. They made an appointment for me and when I arrived a little early they immediately took my car back and went to work. I like how they send you a text that gives you an update about your car and an estimated time they will finish. The total for a tire and labor was $250. They do offer an insurance where you'd never pay for a tire again but I didn't opt in for that. read more

Owen and Luis both gave exceptional customer service during my visit to this location . Owen was attentive, welcoming, and quick to respond. He set me up with services as a walk in right before close. It's hard to find service like this at any other tire shop in the central FL area. 100% would recommend! read more

I can't say enough good things about Discount Tire on 436 in Apopka! I chose to use their online system to select and pay for a set of new tires, as well as set up an appt time for installation. Through that system I was able to inform them when I was on my way and the moment I arrived. They were there to greet me and confirm what I was there for. Full installation was completed in about 30 minutes and I was out of there. The three different employees that accomplished that amazing service were all friendly and professional. I'm sure I'll be back whenever I need to have complimentary tire pressure checked/adjusted in future. Thanks, Discount Tire!! read more

They are quick efficient and reasonably priced. I will return for all of my tire needs for sure

Went in to get four new tires mounted and balanced along with a four wheel alignment. The Discount team in Apopka was courteous and took me in just before my appointment came and completed my 2023 Tesla Model 3 in satisfactory time. Thank you. read more

Discount Tire - New tires and alignment. - Tires Near Me - Apopka, Florida

I've had great experiences at discount tire but this was an extremely disappointing one. I originally came in for an alignment that wasn't actually done correctly on my Tesla model 3. Then the following week my tire started leaking air so I call and try to get an estimate for all new tires and get told something is wrong with their system so I would have to come in for them to take a look at what tires would fit my vehicle (I have an account with them and they know my vehicle)... I then asked if they were busy and Caleb said they could get it all taken care of in 45 mins. (All new tires and alignment) But when I get there 20 mins later, I talk to the same sales associate Caleb and he makes it seem like all these people just showed up and the wait time is probably doubled and the system is now working all of a sudden. Then tells me the most common tire people get for my car is not available and he would have to order them. Which is fine, but all of this could've been done OVER THE PHONE WHEN I CALLED, not to mention interrupting the should be quick purchase process twice to answer the phone. Then I ask if they could just fix my tire and do the alignment until my next appointment for the tires and the wait time gets doubled to 1hr 30. I can tell when businesses genuinely get busy and stuff happens but I also can tell when someone is lazy or lying. I've been going to discount tire for 5 years so I know what to expect when it comes to customer service. This was not it. Giant waste of time. I love discount tire but I might find a different location. read more

Jose and the team at Discount Tire Apopka were so wonderful to work with. I got a flat tire late on a Saturday afternoon, and came to learn that my vehicle had a very uncommon tire size, that virtually no tire shop kept in stock. Jose was able to order one from their warehouse, to arrive promptly on Monday morning, and was able to get me in and out so easily and quickly knowing that I was under a time crunch. They were so helpful, genuine, and easy to work with. I never felt like I was being taken advantage of or that they were trying to upsell me on anything. Definitely recommend this location! read more

I've had nothing but positive experiences every time I had to take my car in. It's so hard to find good customer service at car repair shops and I must say, I am always treated well by these folks even when no one is around to witness it. read more

A big thank you to the entire team at discount tire at 2150 E Semoran Blvd. They serviced our Mazda today for a free tire inspection and patched one tire for a nail removal, no charge. The value and service level was better than the Mazda dealership we have used for service previously. The Discount Tire service team were informative, respectful, patient and kind. We highly recommend this location for your tire needs. read more

I had a good experience on a Wednesday. Each employee was pleasant, informative, and didn't incessantly push for upsales. They seemed like they wanted to be there, which is uncommon for an auto shop. The prices were reasonable and they did the work promptly. I will be back for sure. read more

I searched online for a good tire deal. Found 4 that could be installed the next morning, so I was super happy about that. I did my full purchase online, was greeted when I parked by name, walked inside showed my ID, I received a text message to track the status of my car. I arrived at 9:15, was out the door at 10:14, my car was promised at 10:15. The smoothest tire purchase I have ever had in my life. The website says 30% faster when you do it online and they are absolutely correct! I recommend this location for your tire needs. read more

I was already emotional because we were laying my mom to rest the next day. Exhausted and overwhelmed is putting it mildly of how I was feeling and now there's a nail in one of the tires. The store manager Marshall came to my rescue. Someone tried to help but it wasn't working. Marshall found a solution and it was such a weight lifted off my shoulders. Marshall was so personable and professional. He is a solutionist and a asset to his company. He truly made my day a lot brighter and he has a new customer for this location. read more

I've been a fan of Discount Tire for over a decade. Sure, they have very competitive all-inclusive prices, but that's not even the main reason. I just like their - for want of a better term - corporate culture. Rightly or wrongly, I believe they are a believer in the do-right-by-the-customer-and-they'll-do-right-by-you motto. Beyond expertise in their domain, I sense integrity, and a sort of genuine CARE about the customer, to the extent that one could possibly expect in what's basically a business transaction. This latest visit did not put that in question much, in spite of a minor hiccup. I used to use the one in Sanford, but since I often go the Altamonte Costco and Apopka Sam's Club these days, I thought that this would be a closer location for all intents and purposes. I'd bought my tires online to maximize my BOA cash-back (5.25% ain't nothing to scoff at, y'all!) I was a little late for my appointment, but Jeff didn't give me a hard time. He said he'll put his best guy on the job, and that it'd be about 90 minutes. Now, is an hour and a half reasonable for putting on a set of 4, with an appointment? I don't know: what I do know is that I was about 20 minutes late, and that it's certainly 'close enough'. And they were busy too, on a Friday morning. Sure enough, right on the dot at 90 minutes, I got a text saying my car's ready. By this time almost the entire waiting room had cleared, which was pretty effective efficiency and speed. The only hiccup? They called me a few hours later, saying, oops, they forgot to give me back my wheel-lock key! So I have to go and pick it up now. Not the end of the world... read more

I have been going there (Apopka Semoran Blvd) for 20 plus years and always get the best service and great prices! Any time I go there, any employee I have dealt with from tire sales to install to putting air in my tires has been nothing but kind and professional. There has never been an issue with my car or tires after I left. They are never too pushy for up sales, just explaining the different levels of tires, with the warranties and benefits, as well as the tire insurance. I paid the little extra for the insurance and one time ended up with a nail in the side of my tire, and was told, although I already knew, that it is not a spot that can be plugged. They checked to see if I had the insurance, I did and with no argument told me the tire was covered! Easy. Went in yesterday, new car with original tires and they pulled out a screw and plugged it for free. Good to go. I won't go anywhere else for the services they provide! read more

Discount Tire in Mount Dora are slow, rude and not attentive to customer service norms. Are they doing DEI hiring now? I'm ready sad to see this beloved company being represented so poorly in this market. I can no longer recommend this company to my friends and family. I couldn't post this unless I clicked a star. So let me say that I want to manually add a minus sign to the front of it read more

Second time coming to this location. Made an appointment for first thing in the morning. As soon as I parked, a familiar face came straight out to my car, recognized me and took me right inside. He already knew what I needed replaced which is the final tire of an old ass set of tires I've been running on. Got here right before 9. My appointment was set for 9:15 I think, with estimated finish time at 9:45. As I was checking out, another gentleman was already waiting to get started on my car. I'm already leaving and it's 9:10. Love these guys, can't thank them enough. read more

devin helped me w my tires and said he just transferred from another location and was respectful and helpful, great customer service

I like Discount tire, they always offer a great service in a timely manner, that's my go to for my tires. The only reason that I am taking off one Star , is that I feel that often times they try to upsell you, or push for sales, and I don't like that at all. Nothing worse than sales pressure.. they'll try to sell you wipers, this and that.. I might find another location that is not so pushy cause honestly, I dread going in there just for that! read more

I went in for a quick service... a tire rotation without an appointment. Not only did the employees great and get me taken care of as quick as possible. But they had me out the door in less than an hour. The current store manager and his staff are amazing! Thank you! The tires had been purchased from discount and this survive was also free! That makes me one happy customer. Thank you again! read more

Fast and quick with todays visit with replacing two tires. Great customer service would recommend.

The customer service was great and I also found out that they have mobile tire service which was awesome cause I couldn't get to them without a tow so they were able to come to my house and change my tires. The pricing for everything was great. There was a little hiccup with communication and they gave me a discount which was awesome! read more

Friendly, quick, and best of all free! Oh, and of course honest. I was in & out in minutes because all I needed was a tire check. I thought I was getting a flat. Thanks for the great service. read more

I went to this location as I had a tire that kept losing air. Although the place was very busy, I was greeted right away and a service person was sent to look at my car. He quickly discovered a nail and explained that depending on the angle at which the nail penetrated the tire, it may require a patch or a new tire. Of course, in my head, I am immediately thinking I am going to end up buying a new tire on a car that has 11,000 miles. I was given an estimated wait time of 1 hour which was reasonable given how busy they were. It seem like less than half an hour later the tech came out with my car and told me they were able to fix with a patch and handed me my keys. I asked what the charge was and was told none. To say I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement. I have definitely recommended this location to my friends and they will be the first place I go when I do need new tires. It is refreshing to get such good customer service and deal with such courteous professional staff. Thank you!! read more

Even though they are called discount tire, but the tires are not than value price, I bought my tires from this place for a couple of my vehicles and had their road hazard warranty. When I took it there for repair on a screw in my tire, they told me it will be three hours before they can even look at it, so why do you guys charge extra for road hazard where you cannot service it within reasonable time read more

Stopped in at 745 before they opened up for the day. Once they opened, the front staff all came out and help all of us that were waiting all at the same time. My Jeep was up on a lift and done super fast. I've always bought my tires here and they offer a competitive price at a great value. I recommend this shop! read more

Took care of my tires. Compared to other locations prices were reasonable. Took care of business and were professionals. Will go back.

After buying new tires from Tire Rack, I had them shipped here because they were recommended installers. The tires were delivered this morning and I called to schedule an appointment. I was scheduled for the same day and given an estimate on the cost. When I arrived, I was quick to note that this place is spacious. The whole process took about an hour which was the estimated time given to me. I also noticed that the technicians took good care of my wheels and my car. It was a great experience and I will come back again. read more

I have been coming here for years. Quick service and fair prices. Nice location where I can cross the street and shop or eat while waiting, but I've never really had to wait long. Great road hazard warranty that I've unfortunately had to use many times because of getting nails in tires. read more

Do not waste your money buying tires from these guys and especially not the Refund Replacement Certificate. We bought 4 new tires with 40,000 mile guarantee and we were duped into having to replace the back tires at 15,000 miles and now they want us to replace the front tires at 21,000 miles. They said it is because of a problem with our vehicle, when we just had it checked out by our mechanic before we made a long drive last month. Incredible!! The quality and value is subpar to say the least. read more

Every time I have to go to Discount Tire, I always make sure I go to this location. I had to replace all 4 tires at different times, and the salesmen I worked with were all so kind and caused no problems at all. They did what they could to make the process as quick and seamless as possible. I was under warranty, so no charge either! read more

I would not touch this shop with a ten foot pole. I recently had to buy a tire here as they were the only shop in the area who stocked the tire I needed. I made the mistake of letting them "install" the tire. All I can say is - wow. They literally did everything wrong. I had to take the truck to another shop and pay them to fix it. Their service dept is very amateur hour. If you want a job done professionally, I suggest you steer well clear of this shop. As others have mentioned, they will aggressively try to upsell you on things you don't need and then get very "put off" if you don't capitulate. Also, they straight-up lie about the appointment time frame. They said it would only take 1 hour and it actually took 3 hours. On top of all that, the assistant manager named Ryan was a real jerk. Honestly don't think I have ever been treated with such disrespect. Buyer beware! read more

The staff is friendly, however service is slow. Waited 2 1/2 hours to get a new tire put on. I have been coming here more than 20 years and never realized you could make an appointment. Efficiently appointments are first, walk-ins are squeezed in. This long wait is far from good service and is not acceptable. read more

Picture this: it's a "cool" September morning (74 degrees here in Central Florida is cool, okay?), it's your birthday, and you're loading up the car to head into work. You crank the car and your tire pressure light is on. You make it to the gas station and start to put air in the tire that can't handle the weather change, only to discover a bolt in the middle of the thing. You feel guilty because you just called your tire a baby back b***h unnecessarily. Luckily you're across the street from a tire place that shall remain nameless. You beebop on over only for the guy behind the counter to tell you that you can leave your car until tomorrow, otherwise he can't help you. His demeanor was less than desirable. Anyway, now you're in a panic. Air is hissing out of your poor tire because some schmuck (probably) on I-4 couldn't be bothered to pick up his bolts and now you're suffering the consequences. That's when you call Discount Tire. Mike tells you that they're busy, but if you come in ASAP, they'll work you in. Y'all. I was in and out in 40 minutes, they patched the hole, and they didn't charge me a penny. Now, I previously bought 4 tires at Discount (different location), but over the summer I was in a different state and needed a new tire, and as luck would have it, the injured fella was the outlier, so I had no certificate. They repaired a tire I didn't even get from them for free. I have no idea if that's their normal policy or if they knew it was my birthday or what inspired the kindness and generosity, but I got in my car stunned and cried as I left the parking lot (couldn't do it in the lobby and risk looking like a baby back b***h myself). If you need anything to do with your tires, use Discount Tire. 10/10 would recommend. read more

Great group of guys! I came in for a nail in my tire and they took care of it immediately and at no charge. They suggested several tires for when I would need to replace my current ones and at really competitive prices. They even went over the pro and cons of each tire. I will definitely buy my tires there from now on! Thank you! read more

I made an online appointment for a flat repair two days ago and went in this morning. They were friendly from the get-go at check-in! They let me know there was a bit of a wait, so they'd keep me in line and let me go grab some food/shop nearby and what time to return (about a half hour later). I loved that they let me take my car during this time so I wasn't stuck sitting around. I came back and they were ready for me, letting me know that they would see if they could fix the tire or if I'd need to replace it (I had a nail in the tire pretty close to the edge of the tire). They were able to fix the tire in the end, saving me tons of money. They were incredibly fast in the process, predicting that I would be done by 11:45 (30 minutes) and even finishing a couple minutes before that. I would 10/10 use this company, specifically this location, again. Their waiting area was complete with seating (with outlets so I could hop on my laptop and do homework!) where I could watch as they fixed my car and I could see they took the utmost care in their work. read more

I stopped by here to get a set of 4 tires (already chosen) that i needed for my car on a Friday morning...with no appointment (wish me luck!) First walking in, I was greeted by Rick (store manager) right away with a very positive attitude. I let him know that I needed a set of 4 tires for my car (set of Ohtsu tires/made from Falken). There was no pressure for an upsale and he mentioned to me that they were good tires for that price point and there's currently an $25 rebate going on for that set of tires....sweet! I got my new set put in under 45 minutes with no additional hassling/issues and I was out the door in no time. I've been to Discount tire a few times before when purchasing tires and this experience was no different....keep up the good work! read more
