I have been keeping my cars serviced by Mak tire center and they have been doing an excellent work every time I need.

Stay away! Grelis Ruiz, the owner, is a dishonest person!…read moreI went to Bent Rim Repair for 2 used tires. After the tires were installed, my Jeep had a vibration, it didn't have a vibration before this. I went right back to the store, and was offered a solution. They didn't have any more tires that size, so they put my 2 old tires back on and gave me a refund. When my card was run through the card reader, it said "transaction unsuccessful. " The card reader said it was refunded, but the refund never went through. I was told to give it a couple days, because sometimes refunds take longer, so I did. I went back about a week later, and told them there was still no refund. I was told come back again, because maybe the refund still needed more tome to go through. When I returned the second time, Grelis told me that I would have to check with my bank to see what the problem with my refund was. I called the bank, and the bank told me that there was no record of this refund, and that the problem must be with Bent Rim Repair's bank. Now, I believe that the card reader simply had a problem sending the refund, because it said "transaction unsuccessful." And this was told to Grelis Ruiz. She told me she'd like to keep my receipt from the refund, so she could use it to "look into the problem." She gave me a reprint of the receipt to use instead. We'll, I didn't look very close at the reprinted receipt before leaving the store, but I wish I did. This is the part where she was being dishonest. The reprinted receipt said I was given a cash refund. I DID NOT RECEIVE A CASH REFUND. My transaction was only with my debit card. I returned to the store another time, with bank statements to show I never received a refund to my account. The store manager got Grelis on the phone. Grelis said she remembered me at the store, and said she was almost 100% certain she gave me a cash refund. SHE LIED! Grelis then said she looked at the security tapes and it shows her giving me a cash refund. SHE IS LYING! I fully believe she gave me the reprinted receipt as a cash refund on purpose, and then proceeded to lie about what happened. This transaction started out as a digital problem with their card reader, but then turned into an outright lie! I believe she "remembered me" at the store, because she knows what she did was wrong. I know this store has a lot of positive reviews. But, I'm telling you, BEWARE! Now, I'll never see my refund. And, if you have a problem, you may never get your refund either!

I came in after my tire blew on the highway. The puncture was in the repairable area of the tread, but because the tire had been repaired by a previous owner before I purchased the vehicle, I was told it couldn't be patched and that my only option was to buy a brand-new tire. That ended up costing me over $350 for a single tire. And that was after working out a "deal" for me. Right. While I understand there are company policies regarding tire repairs, what really frustrated me was the lack of care afterward. After installing the new tire, the technicians didn't properly secure my spare tire back into the trunk. They also left the jack and tools tossed around instead of placing them back into the designated molded compartments in the Styrofoam organizer where they belong. It may sound like a small thing, but if you're going to charge someone hundreds of dollars for one tire, the least you can do is return their vehicle in the same condition you received it. Instead, I had to fix everything myself once I got home after listening to everything clank and slide around in there on the ride home. Again, I've always had positive experiences with other Discount Tire locations before and thought because the reviews at this location were so high it would be okay, but clearly not. Small details like this make a big deal to someone who's already dealing with a stressful moment, which is why this visit was more than disappointing.

They wouldn't uphold their warranty and instead looked to charge me even more than I paid for tires last year. You're better off going to Driver Tire in Sanford. Reliable legit and they don't lie and take advantage of their customers. Don't let your family and friends get mistreated by this money hungry corporation.
