I had a really great experience with Orlando Import (Bennett Road location) and wanted to share. On my drive to work, my car alerted me to low oil pressure. After parking, I discovered a pretty serious oil leak and dangerously low oil levels. With dealerships booked out for days, I called Orlando Import based on a coworker's recommendation, and I'm really glad I did. Cory answered the phone and immediately put me at ease by letting me know the Bennett Road team could take a look the same day and have answers by the next morning. I dropped the car off (after adding some oil), and Caleb helped get everything checked in. By the next day around noon, they had already identified the issue, fixed the leak, and even cleaned all the oil off the engine and undercarriage. And the price was very reasonable. Fast, professional, and transparent, exactly what you hope for in a stressful situation. Highly recommend their team if you're in a bind and/or need reliable service. Post note: It turns out that during my last oil change at a quick-service shop, the oil filter gasket or seal wasn't placed back, which caused the slow leak. (Even if you're like me and know absolutely nothing about cars) I'd ben to another auto shop with the same owners, but was happy to see this super close shop as we needed help identifying an issue that was lighting up our whole dashboard. Caleb helped us out and eventually let us know the problem, the potential cost of the solution, and his professional opinion on the best next step. The fact that his professional opinion didn't push us towards fixing something that wouldn't benefit us in the long-run (given the age of the car), was very encouraging. I could tell right then and there that they are not trying to fool their customers. In fact, Caleb let us know that the owners have the philosophy that there is plenty of money to be made while being honest with customers. Took a vehicle here after doing a full AC replacement of all new quality parts. Parts were replaced by a master tech with over 10 years of experience. Specifically told the shop to add oil based off compressor, condenser, and expansion valve replacement. Compressor is making noise due to lack of oil in AC system. Called Caleb, the service advisor to ask how much oil was put in the vehicle. He did not want to disclose how much oil was put in or ask the tech how much oil they put in. Completely avoiding any responsibility of course. He avoided giving any info at all on the vacuum and charge that was paid for. He began to make sarcastic remarks, saying that they're not using teaspoons and table spoons to measure the oil. An AC machine accurately puts oil into the system by the ounce, which should have been more than 2 ounces due the parts replaced. Asked if he can recover and charge the AC system again with the correct amount of oil and they want to charge full price even though the system has full refrigerant already. Caleb was unprofessional with his responses and completely dismissive. There's plenty of great shops in Orlando. I would stay away from this one. read more

I've been a longtime customer of their sister location, and when I needed some urgent work done this month, I saw that the Bennett Road shop was another option to try. This location is closer to some great options for me to work remotely from while my car is worked on, so I gave them a call. They were able to fit me in for a diagnostic the next day. They gave me a fair quote for the repairs needed (blower motor and resistor replacement, plus a couple smaller maintenance things) and invited me back the next day once the parts were in. Since I don't live close by, they were flexible and I was able to return the following week instead. Caleb and his team were efficient and friendly. They went through extensive diagnostics to identify a fuel pump failure and fixed and replaced it and my car runs like new and made the entire 600 mile trip back home with 0 issues. The vehicle issues I had were numerous and after reviewing the work needed, the mechanics all conferred that the work wouldn't be worth the price for me. They mentioned an engine failure common to my model of car and that it would be on its last leg regardless of a repair. While they could have made money on the temporary fix, they were honest and friendly throughout the experience however disappointing the circumstances were for me in the end. First time bringing my car here. The reaction and timing when starting my engine was getting slower and weaker recently, so thought I'd be proactive about it. The place I normally go to had no openings for at least a week. After searching Google for a place with high ratings, this one came up. Plus it's close to my residence. Anyway, they were able to take my vehicle in immediately. Diagnosed the problem being a weak battery, and got a new one within a short period of time. No "new and unexpected" problems arose when my car was being inspected, which is typical at most auto repair shops. Not the case here. They were specific, quick, and did a quality job. The best part was being quoted a fair price, which I saw in many other reviews. Will definitely be returning here again for maintenance and solving any other future issues. Let me know right from the start that they were working on my car, gave me an estimate that was agreeable and let me know of progress and got the car back in my hands a lot sooner than I expected. He has always been quick and honest in our dealings, and twice, when I went to pick up my car, the final bill was LESS then what he quoted me, because he found the parts for cheaper. John is the best both in quality work and customer service. I have an older car in overall good shape, with the usual parts failure issues as wear and tear builds. My first visit, I had a check engine light with a code that indicated a problem with the emissions system. He could have charged me $500 or more and replaced some parts, and I would have never known the difference. Instead, he gave me a $20 gas cap and explained that sometimes the seal on the cap goes bad and causes what appears to be a leak in the system. Told me to try it out and see. Didn't charge me for the cap, either. That WAS the problem and no recurrence of the problem since. Since then, I've had the belt tensioner and the water pump replaced, plus the front brakes done. The work was good, and the one time a problem persisted past the first visit, John came in on a Saturday he wasn't scheduled to be open, just to make it right, at no charge. He's always got a couple of interesting older cars being worked on at his shop, so the car enthusiasts seem to trust him. I do too.
