I am extremely grateful for the excellent service that I received this evening at The Firestone located 7727 University Blvd, Orlando, FL. I had a nail in my tire and I arrived at 5:45 pm and by 6:00 pm I was able to drive safe to my house. I had stopped during my lunch hour and asked DJ the manager, if I could come back after work. They close at 6:00 pm, but he said that they would wait for me. I had called other places, but they refused to help me because of the time. Not DJ, he even called me and let me know that he had reserved the tire for me and that Abdul would wait for me to install the tire. If I had gone home with that tire, I would have had a flat in the morning and it would have been hard to get it fix and be at work at 7:30am. They were my angels. I called this Firestone to make an appointment to have my tires aligned, and I spoke with someone who was super helpful and efficient in helping me make the appointment. I came in the next morning for the appointment where I was greeted by Trevor. He informed me that I did not have an appointment. I showed him my call history and told him that I called the day before and made an appointment. He said that it wasn't their phone number, so I showed him on google where it is the phone number connected to his location. He seemed inconvenienced to accommodate me, but agreed to fit me in. About an hour later, I received a phone call where Trevor told me that I needed a brake fluid flush, a coolant flush, and a spark plug tuneup. I told him that I just had my brakes replaced and just got a new engine with new spark plugs. He continued to advise me that I needed these services and specifically told me that my brake fluid failed a test of some kind. I called the people who replaced my brakes, and they assured me that I did not need a brake fluid flush. I confirmed that my dealership did a coolant flush and replaced the spark plugs. I tried to call back but was left on hold, so I hung up and returned to the dealership. I told Trevor that I had confirmed that my car doesn't actually need any of the services he said I needed, and he rather snarkily responded "it was a simple recommendation based on the mileage." My impression of this interaction was that this Firestone location was actively trying to sell me unnecessary services either 1) knowing that I didn't need them or 2) without confirming that I did need them. It left a bad taste in my mouth and I will not be returning to this location. read more

I dropped off my brand new car (2025) for a simple tire change and got a call right before they are about to close saying my car won't start. I check my app because it sends me updates on the car. Figured out from the time stamps from the app and from communications from them that they turned on my car to check the mileage and then ran my car battery to the ground because they never turned it back off. So much so that they couldn't even jump it. Then they told me they could test the battery for an additional $50 despite it being their fault. Waited until 2 am that night to finally get my car towed. Don't recommend this place unless you want to leave with your car having more problems than it came in with. I told them what they did and not once did they offer to remedy their own mess up. One guy was nice enough to stay late to let me get my keys but it doesn't make up for the fact that I went in with a perfectly working car and left with one that is in even worse shape. read more

I booked an appointment for the latest time being 5:30pm for an oil change, I got 1 call asking if I can come in earlier and I really cannot. Once I said I would call to confirm I had a second gentleman call and he made it seem like my appointment time was questionable. If your site allows a client to book online for a specific time, it should be done. I just need a simple oil change, I have a fire stone card and was hoping to use it since I had a great experience last time at another location. Seems they might've just wanted to leave earlier and my appt time was an inconvenience for them. I only booked at this location because of the star rating... turns out it's not the customer service you get.. and I never do reviews like that so this should say a lot. read more

Made an appointment for an oil change after another not so good tire establishment (hint hint) didn't take good care of me. I showed up just before my appt and they got my car in right on time! They processed the paperwork efficiently and were very nice to deal with. I had my 2015 mercedes slk 250 towed to Firestone auto care service on February 8th 2024 for repairs. I spoke to an employee by the name of Jerry who informed me its was okay to have my car towed in. He confirmed that he received my car around 4:45pm February 8th. February 9th I received a call from Service Manager Dennis Greenidge. He informed me that my car did not have enough power to perform a diagnostic test. He said I needed to replace my batteries first in order to perform the diagnostic and it would cost $668. I informed him that I was not prepared to pay that amount at that time and needed a week in order to be able to pay that amount. I called Firestone on February 15th. I spoke with Dennis, and let him know it was okay to begin working on my vehicle. I received a call on February 20th from Dennis and he told me that he replaced my batteries, my vehicle has power but my key isn't being detected so he needed to contact a programmer to reprogram my key fob. I didn't receive a call from Dennis by February 24th so I called Firestone. I spoke with Albert on February 24th to check the status of my vehicle. Albert said he had to call Dennis to ask about my vehicle. After speaking with Dennis, Albert told me that they needed to have a programmer come out to reprogram my key fob. I informed him that I already knew that but I was never told how much it would cost. I was told that I would be called back with the cost for the reprogramming. I spoke to Albert on February 25th and was told it would cost $300 to have my key reprogrammed. I told him that I have a spear key fob and he suggested that I bring it in to see if it worked. I couldn't make it to Firestone before they closed that day. Albert called me around 6:30pm on February 26th to ask if I planned on bringing in my spear key. I told him yes but I wouldn't be able to get there until February 27th once I was off of work. I took my spear key fob to Firestone around 3:30pm February 27th, my spear key didn't work either. Albert contacted the programmer and told me he would be a Firestone by 1pm on February 28th. I didn't receive a call from Firestone until after 6:30pm on February 28th. Jerry called me and said that my car was involved in a hit and run accident. He said someone backed into my car that I could come in a file a police report. I told him I would come in that same night and file a police report. Jerry informed me that he was a manager and he would wait for me and the officer to arrive. The officer and I arrived at 7:07pm all the doors of Firestone closed and locked. Jerry was nowhere to be found. The officer created an incident report but we couldn't file a police report because Jerry left. I returned to Firestone February 29th around 4:30pm with a new officer to found out what happened to my vehicle. We walked in and I asked to speak with Jerry, he was assisting someone else and asked for us to give him a minute. While wait another employee starts explaining what happened to my car. This employee was Dennis. Jerry walked away from the conversation and I let Dennis know that I wanted to speak with Jerry because he is who called me about the accident. I expressed to Jerry that I was unsatisfied with the way this situation is being handled. He didn't wait for me the night before so that I could start the police report, Dennis says the accident happened around 4:30pm but I didn't receive a call from Jerry until 6:30pm, or an update on the reprogramer for my key. I also didn't receive a update call on February 29th about the accident or key fob. Jerry lied and said that he waited around for me and when I called him a liar he began cursing at me and suggested that we "take things outside" I felt threatened, disrespected, challenged and confused. Firestone's employees never apologized for any inconvenience and left me feeling like they weren't responsible for my vehicle being damaged. I wasn't given any type of resolution for the situation. Dennis claimed to be a manager so I asked him what can be done about Jerry's behavior and I was told I have to call customer service and file a complaint. When I asked what can be down about my car being damaged I was told to speak with store manager Kevin Raetz who was not there. I left Firestone very disappointed, frustrated, angry, confused, and concerned about my safety. As the office and I walked back to my car I noticed Dennis, Jerry, and Albert laughing together and giving each other hi fives which made feel like they really didn't care. I called the Firestone consumer affairs department and filed a formal complaint, my claim number is 2797705. I also have 2 incident report numbers from the Orlando police in regards to my car and 1 incident report number for the threatening behavior I received from Jerry. On March 1st I received a call around 2:30pm from Dennis at Firestone. He informed me that because I submitted a claim with Firestone customer affairs, they will no longer work on my car. Positive review for Firestone on E. Colonial. Last Thursday my college daughter drove home to Tampa to get all new tires at our local Firestone. Last night, driving home from work, she got the low tire pressure light and a rock had caused damage. We went online to request an appoitnment and she was able to get her tire replaced. Overall took about 1.5 hours. Tire was under warranty and they didn't have the same tire. We talked to Aaron over the phone who offered to order the same tire and have it in a few days, or he told us the tires he had in stock that he could use today. We went with a tire he had in stock which was about $50 more than the original tire she had put on 3 days prior. My daughter is a full-time student and works two part-time jobs, so we just needed the tire replaced and not worry about trying to come back and squeeze it into her schedule. read more

I have been to this location several times with two vehicles. They've been solid each time. I recently had a major problem w/ my wife's vehicle. We had gotten a couple Firestone tires from this store and later got a couple from another local tire store. Major issue(s) arose w/ the tire install on the other two (broken stud, broken lug nut, and all 24 lug nuts loosened). I assumed, incorrectly, that Firestone was to blame. Paul, in particular, was terrific and was likely empowered to be so by leadership. Hats off to this team on their service recovery. while they did not assume responsibility - nor should they have - they made things right (and safe) for me and my family. Thanks Paul and team. If you answered "not me" to any of the above, I encourage you to utilize this Firestone if you have to deal with any of the above. I got a flat tire and after walking in here, realizing they were not sleazy at all and being told I would have 2 new tires and an oil change in about 30 minutes, I really didn't mind waiting. Customer service like whoa! Shaw, the store manager is so flippin' happy. He gets it, not everyone is thrilled to be in there dropping money on a necessity but he makes the experience that much less stressful. He greets everyone as soon as they walk in and shows everyone their options, no guessing games here. The garage is viewable from the waiting area so you can see all the work being done. I had to purchase four new tires but was only in need of two at the time. However, when I am ready to get those other two, I know exactly where I am going. They forgot to put my tire lock back in my car so they called and said I could come pick it up at any time and when I returned a week later, I was greeted immediately... BY NAME! What? Impressive! I came here to have a minor issue worked on. The main staff member I dealt with was like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Friendly one moment, then extremely pushy about getting other services done, the next. He also insisted I give the work 5 stars for everything for every question on the online review. There was another employee walking around the inside area, in a crotchety mood, and he took some phone calls with an attitude. The work on the car took a very long time, and in the end, I wasn't satisfied with the service done. I wouldn't recommend coming here. read more

There were instructions to print out the quote and bring it in the store so they could honor it. Good thing that I did! I got more than $100 knocked off with the tire special they had going on! Again, the customer service was wonderful. The guys are great with their geniune smiles and just not being the typical car repair shop people. After getting the new tires, I knew I had to get the alignment done too. I explained that I was planning on going to a different place to get it done because it was cheaper there. Dishonest. Do NOT recommend. Had a flat tire. The person who put on my spare said "This tire can be patched. If you go somewhere and they tell you to replace it, go someplace else." Made an appointment at Firestone. Firestone told me I needed a new $270 tire and a brake flush. I told them to stop everything they were doing on my car. I just had maintenance and a full inspection done on my car, plus had the brake flush at the suggested mileage for my car. I asked why they were suggesting I need a new tire as I was told it could be patched. The guy at the counter said, "it wasn't me, it was the mechanic who said you need a new tire." He spoke to the mechanic and said the inside of the tire is messed up (paraphrased). The manager also said my tire was "crumbling" on the inside once they took off the rim and that the brake flush was recommended because of the miles on my car and, since I don't do my regular maintenance there, they don't know what's been done. They continued to replace my wipers and air filters even though I said stop working on my car. The manager, Chris, called me back to the counter about 20-30 minutes later and told me I owed $141 for wipers and air filters. Chris apologized for the miscommunication and credited me for one of the filters. I looked at the tire without the rim, and it was NOT crumbling or shredded. So the manager had double-downed on the lies from the previous guy who was "helping" me. I went to a local, honest mechanic who patched it for a fraction of Firestone's tire repair price (the new mechanic was not aware of my experience at firestone). read more

Scheduled an appointment and brought my car here for an oil change just for Crystal, the manager, to come out and tell me they weren't going to change my oil because Valvoline "put the drain plug in wrong" last time they did it. She informed me if their shop broke the drain plug while trying to get it out then they weren't going to fix it. After telling me very quickly that they weren't going to do it, she made sure to leave the shop and go out back to roll tires around? Yes because that's more important than trying to help a customer. I took my car back to a Valvoline just for them to show me how EASY it was to get the drain plug out and even showed me there was no damage. Crystal allows her staff to be lazy and rude and talk poorly about other staff members with customers in the waiting room. 0/10 just go to Valvoline. read more

These guys are scammers. As part of my service I paid an additional $51.99 plus tax to have my cabin air filter replaced; something they strongly recommended due to the mileage on the vehicle. A month later I needed to take my car to the dealer for an electrical problem. The dealer then recommends to me that I replace the air filter. "Hold on," I said, "I just did that a month ago at Firestone." The technician then proceeded to show me the factory original air filter caked in dirt. These guys never even touched it! Now, I had $1,500 worth of work done in total (oil change, alignment, new tires, new battery, etc.), so I could maybe accept the excuse of it being an oversight since I had so many things done in one shot. But they presented me with a detailed checklist when I picked up my vehicle and someone checked off that they replaced the air filter when they had actually never touched it. Who knows what other corners they cut while servicing my vehicle. I can't trust this shop and definitely won't be going back. read more

I dropped my car off at about 8 and it was ready at 10, I didn't wait around but I'm sure they would have been even quicker had I stayed in the waiting room. I had difficulties after signing up for the 0% interest credit card. I did not receive my statement until after the first payment was due and then was hit with a late fee. After I made a payment, the next month statement showed I did not. I called and they stated I never made the first payment even though I did via telephone and received a confirmation number. After being on the phone and them not solving my problems, the manager was able to remove the late fee and I just paid off the whole balance to not have to deal with the hassle anymore. read more

In one particular occasion the job didn't come out totally right "but" as soon as I brought it back they went out of their way to correct the problem (the issue was fixed right away) - This actually impressed me because most places would come up with lame excuses to charge more. The customer service here is through the roof. If I shut my eyes and talked to the service manager that day, I could have easily been in a dealership. These guys are spot on and professional. Even with dealerships, you run the risk of being upsold air filters and countless other things you dread having to decline during the process. Well, the experience with Firestone was different in a way that they actually wanted to make sure everything was in tip top shape, without going through that easy-breezy monologue that you dread will show up eventually. Matthew the Service Manager was fantastic to deal with, great open conversation regarding what I should or shouldn't purchase and a real personable guy. Coming out of the gym at 7:00AM to find your car has a flat tire sucks. However, the fact that this Firestone was less than a half mile away was reassuring. I arrived at 7:05 to find Francisco unlocking the door. As we all know, no one wants to be greeted with real work the second they arrive at their worksite. There's a much needed warm-up period. Francisco, however, quickly processed my problem, evaluated the situation, replaced the tire, and had me on my way in about 30 minutes. The customer service was truly exceptional. I've been needing to find a mechanic for some time - a difficult task for me because I don't trust many mechanics due to past experiences, but thanks to the other yelpers on this website I chose to take my car to this Firestone. FIRST EXPERIENCE: I went to this Firestone once a few months ago because my car was making a weird noise. They were nice enough to drive around with me but the car didn't make the noise as we were driving so they told me to come back when it made the sound again - I think this was a great sign because they weren't eager to misdiagnose just to take my money. SECOND EXPERIENCE: So I took the car back a few months later (this Friday, June 6) and they took a look at my brakes. Turns out I needed the rear brakes serviced (rotors & pads). I was also due for an oil change so I had them to do that too. My car is working great now and no longer making that obnoxious screeching sound when I drive around. I'm very happy with the results! The customer service here was also really good. I spoke to Tomas at first and later Angelo. They were kind and straightforward with me. Treated me like a valued customer. I felt their prices were also fair. I'm very grateful to have finally found some mechanics I can trust. Sure, there probably is another place that won't charge as much (though I actually find them to have pretty standard pricing and they always have coupons) but they never push you on anything you don't need and they're customer service is amazing. To me, it's totally worth it. Giovanni is the man and he'll explain what exactly you need and why and he makes it simple to understand what's going on with you car even when you're totally clueless.
