They were very timely. I called they told me to come in asap and got to work immediately. They gave me a free inspection with my vehicle. I knew something was off and they diagnosed the issue without trying to make an extra buck. You really have to appreciate the honesty in this type of space. I chose to hold off on the work to see what I can do myself (my bf is extremely handy with vehicle work) and they were understanding. Had a very mixed experience at this location. If you need tires and brakes, then this may be a good place, but everything else... Don't do it. My mustang had to go back there five times for different issues. They did a good job of fixing my brakes. However, Three of those times were for the same thing, and when they admitted that they actually damaged part of the car, they promised that they would order the replacement parts, and when they receive the part they would contact me in about a week or so. Three weeks later now, I have not heard anything, and when I called, they said that when the part comes in, don't call them, they will call me. Obviously that has not happened; I guess because of the embarrassment of having to go back and fix what they did not fix in the first place. There was a lot of "we got you don't worry we will take good care of you". Needless to say, I will not be going back. read more

I bought 4 tires and I had to come back 3 times. The first time they said my tires were ok. Then I came back again because the air was leaking in 2 of them..so they changed the 2 from the passenger side. Then later I had to come back because the other 2 from the other side were low in air..air was leaking .they told me there is nothing wrong with the tires...and they change the valves on the other 2 tires.. . I have been there 3 times .for the same reason..Bad tires.. air leaking from the new tires I bought from them.. I wouldn't go there...they might be putting on old tires or what?? I also had to beg for receipt to show what they did..they didn't want to give me any receipt for the 3 times I was there.. read more

We brought our jeep in to have the tires rotated and a wheel alignment, which were the only requests. The alignment was needed as the car would drift to the right, however we were told the machine said it was perfect, although they themselves noticed the drift upon driving it. We were also told a 4WD vehicle doesn't need its tires rotated, even though the jeep sits in 2WD always and that's what we expressed. The only service provided after having two basic requests was a tire balance, and even though we left after being told the tires were aligned, upon a follow up call they admitted nothing was done besides the balance. They did offer for us to take it back and have the tires rotated, but we saw no point in wasting more of our day after waiting 2 1/2 hours for one service to be done and the issue we have is still not fixed. Definitely not coming back and wouldn't recommend as they also tried to sell us on some things we know we don't need as my boyfriend is well versed in basic mechanics and had already ruled out that suggestion being an issue. read more

I get a flat and the nearest tire shop is Mavis. They tell me $135 for the new tire and $45 to mount the tire and $3 to throw away the old tire. $185 for one tire is too much for me so I go to leave and suddenly "new inventory" and they have a tire for $100 still with $45 mounting. As well as pushing me to get an alignment. Felt very salesy. Now I just drove 10 minutes to Ruben tires and In a blink of an eye. I am walking out paying $60 TOTAL. What an absolute jerk this location has as the manager. I left my work today, and my car indicated that I had a loss in tire pressure. I have run flat tires and can go 50 miles without tire pressure. I explained that I added air, and it was not losing any air now. I asked if I should wait over night, and was told "to watch it and if it lost pressure I need a new tire". Never got off his A$$ to look at the tire. I told him if it is a small leak that it can be patched, and have had it done before at Lexus and other tire locations. He proceeds to tell me no one fixes run flats with a small hole. I have had 4 NEW Lexuses since 2018, with run flats, every single car had at least one tire leak repaired. He chooses to tell me he worked at Lexus and they don't repair them, calling me a liar. I have the receipts, if I provide them will you fire this idiot. If Gator tire doesn't fix them, I am fine with your company policy, but this idiot believes he speaks for every company. Scott the assistant manager was nice and offered to add air to my tire and get all 4 tires to 35PSI. I have tire and wheel insurance from Lexus, on my brand new LS500, their top of the line sedan, so I am not worried if I need a new tire, which I don't. Please terminate this jerks employment, and promote Scott the assistant to manager. The assistant cares more than the store manager, what a joke. I plan to tell 20+ people of this horrible experience and person. Update: Went to your competitor (Discount Tire) today, about 12 hours after my horrible experience. No jerk, no attitude, no lies, just fixed my tire, free of charge, I tipped the 2 guys at the counter, and the young man who fixed it. Took my wife's car in to get fixed after hearing a persistent scraping noise from the front passenger side. Sounded like a grinding brake, but it would only start when the brake was off and would stop whenever the break was engaged. Took it in to get diagnosed. They couldn't fit me in that day (it was near the end of the day), but gave me a time the next day that they could. They fixed the issue and didn't try to upsell me on anything that I didn't need (even telling me to hold off on replacing my rear brake pads until my next oil change). My wife and I were planning to go out of town that evening, so Chris went out of his way to make sure the parts were delivered same day so that our trip wasn't delayed. Cons: Only potential downside of the experience is that it seemed like I had to stay on top of it to call and get updates and check on the progress. I get it though. I know they're busy and there are other customers. Overall: This was a great experience. Chris was great to deal with, and I'd definitely recommend this shop. read more

That's what happened with my last mechanic and I did my research to find Action Gator Tire in Winter Park; they are fantastic! I've been twice now, the work on my car has been as follows: 1) New Tires, 2) Oil Change, 3) Brake service 4)Alignment. The team here is surprisingly honest and direct, it's very appreciated! I am so used to having to read between the lines and deny offers that I don't need, the guys at AGT are friendly and straight to the point. The most recent visit I was already telling myself that my brakes needed to be services (based purely off mileage on the car) and they inspected and let me know they look good with nothing needed to be done. They also check to see if I needed an alignment and then rotated my tires. Top notch! The waiting room is clean and spacious with plenty seating. There also is a TV with netflix. I live just down the road so I opted to wait elsewhere but they did call me to give me an update and when I could pick up the car. Brought my vehicle in to have a tire with a nail in it plugged and patched. Pretty simple right? Nope. They managed to scratch of the side of my wheel in multiple locations while dismounting the tire. So lazy they didn't even bother to clean the wheel up after finishing. Sean more or less gave me boilerplate cop out "Coulda been there before! Who knows! Read the sign, we're not responsible for any damage." First time I've seen a shop manage to damage my wheels. Thanks Sean. Also pretty amazing that your mechanics COULDNT EVEN REINFLATE the tire. Unbelievable. Asked them about it "oh it's the tpms, it'll reset when you drive." Later that day my tire which should be at 50-60psi is actually at 36 psi after checking it manually. Thanks guys, had to reset the dpms myself as well.
