Goodfelo's gave us a quote of $75-$150 for the diagnostic fee which seemed reasonable compared to others. We had the check engine light on and also the TRAC off light on, they charged us $75 for our diagnostic fee. They started work on Monday and we had the car by Tuesday morning. They replaced a coil that went bad and our spark plugs which weren't causing the problem but they said they were very old and recommended it. I like that they ask you first what services you want them to perform before they just do it. Our total for diagnosis, the coil and the spark plugs was $600.

No complaints on the BBB website and an A+ rating is practically unheard of for an auto repair shop in Florida. And what makes that more amazing is that he has an A+ rating and is not even a BBB member! When I arrived, they were having trouble with one guys car. One couple had a 10am appointment and were there for over 3 hours! As I was checking out, a customer from the morning came back because the issue wasn't fix and it seemed worse They don't have a lot in stock so they obviously need to order the parts but they seem like they have trouble getting them. However, he was able to physically show me that there was no leak. But the owner wouldn't take my no for an answer on getting everything they listed repaired, and tried pressuring me to scare me saying my car was a ticking time-bomb. It wasn't. When I came to get my car an hour after the full diagnostics I didn't ask for was finished, the owner said he needed more time to "do what he needed to do still." Slightly concerning since there was nothing we agreed to repair yet, and of course when leaving, my car ran worse than it did when I got there. As a girl alone in Florida as I finish up my education, it's so disappointing to see the lengths people will go to swindle others. The owner states to have helped lots of fellow students from my school which worries me how many other people were suckered into spending money on things they didn't need from here. If you are getting tires or an alignment, maybe they do great. But my daughter's boyfriend took his car there to have his ABS light troubleshot and fixed. It says on their Google page that they specialize in this for the ABS system. The part isn't cheap at almost $2000 for his Kia Optima from Kia itself. They charged him almost $3500 for it. And that's just the part. After the work was done, the light remained on and they told him that they can't reprogram the unit to get rid of the light. I then sent him to my mechanic literally just down the street. They told me they can order the part for about $1900 and was price gouged. And they showed me how they didn't even replace the whole part, but instead separated it into two pieces to make their job easy and only replaced half of it. This is what they suspect is the reason for the dash lights remaining on. Now we are going to have to fight corporate to give a refund so we can take his car to a proper mechanic to get fixed. Their price to fix was $4,406.91 while my mechanic has an estimate with the part directly from the Kia dealership at $2,971.00 out the door. What a difference!!!

Normally, I love going here to get my car serviced. However on this specific date, my experience…read morewas not so great. On Friday evening one my daughter's tires exploded as she was driving home. I called Firestone to set up an appointment for the next day. The employee who answered the phone advised that if I could wait until Sunday morning that they could service me quicker. He then said that they only had 2 appointments for 8a and were wide open for the rest of the morning. Happily I agreed to setting the appointment for 9a Sunday. The employee even made a suggestion for the replacement tire, adding that they had that tire in stock already so it was going to be a fairly easy job. We dropped the car off Saturday night. Sunday morning just around 820a, I received a phone call confirming what I needed done with the car. It being Sunday, we were busy with Church so I returned the call just around 1015a. At that point, the employee tells me that he has a tire in stock -- this tire is different than what the previous employee told me they would do the replacement with. It was around 215p that I received a call from Firestone, to 'make me aware that they were going to rotate the tires.' I really didn't care, but at this point i was growing a bit concerned as i was being contacted just then, after it already being 5 hours after my appointment time. At 245p I was in the area and decided to wait at the store, as the store was going to close at 5p. I was told that they were just finishing up the rotation. It was around 310p that the guy from the garage parked my car in the lot and brought the key to the cashier. At this point there was nobody in the lobby except for myself. At 320p I stood up and looked at the cashier and he says, your car is ready.' I'm thinking, 'I know this. I've been looking at my car in the lot for 10 mins now.' Again, this was to replace 1 tire. I do enjoy this store a lot normally as I feel I usually receive a higher level service from them for what I am paying for. But this service should not have taken this long. Disappointing experience Firestone... Hope my next visit is not like this.
