Normally, I love going here to get my car serviced. However on this specific date, my experience was not so great. On Friday evening one my daughter's tires exploded as she was driving home. I called Firestone to set up an appointment for the next day. The employee who answered the phone advised that if I could wait until Sunday morning that they could service me quicker. He then said that they only had 2 appointments for 8a and were wide open for the rest of the morning. Happily I agreed to setting the appointment for 9a Sunday. The employee even made a suggestion for the replacement tire, adding that they had that tire in stock already so it was going to be a fairly easy job. We dropped the car off Saturday night. Sunday morning just around 820a, I received a phone call confirming what I needed done with the car. It being Sunday, we were busy with Church so I returned the call just around 1015a. At that point, the employee tells me that he has a tire in stock -- this tire is different than what the previous employee told me they would do the replacement with. It was around 215p that I received a call from Firestone, to 'make me aware that they were going to rotate the tires.' I really didn't care, but at this point i was growing a bit concerned as i was being contacted just then, after it already being 5 hours after my appointment time. At 245p I was in the area and decided to wait at the store, as the store was going to close at 5p. I was told that they were just finishing up the rotation. It was around 310p that the guy from the garage parked my car in the lot and brought the key to the cashier. At this point there was nobody in the lobby except for myself. At 320p I stood up and looked at the cashier and he says, your car is ready.' I'm thinking, 'I know this. I've been looking at my car in the lot for 10 mins now.' Again, this was to replace 1 tire. I do enjoy this store a lot normally as I feel I usually receive a higher level service from them for what I am paying for. But this service should not have taken this long. Disappointing experience Firestone... Hope my next visit is not like this. read more

I have been coming here for several years. I have gone to two other Firestone locations and was not as satisfied with the service or customer experience. I continue to come back to this location. The employees have always been honest, straightforward, knowledgeable and listened to my concerns, answer any questions I may have and genuinely want to do a good job. My only area of improvement would be the time it takes to complete repairs or oil changes. However, I want it done right and not rushed, so I am willing to wait for service. read more

Service was 6/21/23 1. They replaced 1 tire, and didn't check the other 3 because the low tire light was still on, and I ended up having to put air in the front driver tire myself at a gas station 2. The wheel lock is supposed to be put in the center console, and used as a piece to keep the console in place. Years ago, another firestone (same Firestone that never gave my my spare back) used it, and never put it back. asked them to do so, and they refused. 3. When I tried to speak to someone about it, all they did was give me attitude, and didn't care at all about the service, or lack thereof, that was provided. To be honest, the only service consultant that is polite, consistant, and professional is Aaron. The revolving door of other people up front is annoying, and leaves them with a , 'who cares about the customer" kind of attitude. I only have a good experience once in every 3 or 4 visits. Horrible service. First, I dropped my car off at noon for a simple tire check because it wasn't holding air. After waiting for three and a half hours I asked to know what was taking so long and was told it was next in. An hour after that I had to go to class and the car was still not taken in so I left with it and made an appointment for the next morning. Dropped it off and got a call an hour later that of course it wasn't repairable with no explanation as to what the problem was. I come in and decide to get a new tire instead of getting it fixed somewhere else which I should have. After the tire is on, the car doesn't start for some reason and has to be jumped and the battery test failed. The battery was 100% less than 2 months ago and all of a sudden fails when I bring it in, go figure. To top it off the main reason I went to a Firestone was in case I needed a new tire I could get the same one which did not happen. I specifically did not want 3 Firestone tires and one random company that looks used. Over $100 included road hazard protection that I didn't want and 8 hours later I was left with a random tire and bad battery. read more

Lost my trust in this place, they recommended to have my front rotors and brake pads changed on June, when I went to do them my car came out squeaking even more than original. I went back to get it checked out and they tried to up sell me the rotors and pads of the rear and I said no. Went to another mechanic and they took everything apart and found ABSOLUTELY NO ISSUE with the rotors and pad, he said it looks almost brand new even. Then I called again because my breaks were squeaking and I called the store and FERNANDO picked up and this kid was lost, had to explain myself 4 times and he still didn't get it. I got new tires installed and came to them to do a wheel balance and alignment. I was talked into a 3 year plan, I went ahead with it. I got my car back. It was worse than it ever has been, so I took it back for them to fix it. A few hours later I got a call that the driver hit something during a test drive and blew out my tire. They replaced the tire at their expense, and got me a rental car. So far 2 bad experiences but... things happen I get it no big deal... months go by and my wife gets a nail in her tire, I go to them, they cant get the tire for me so I ordered online. I made an appointment to take the car in to get the tire switched out as well as redo the balance / alignment on my car. I make an appointment at 2pm. I dropped off my car, and got an estimated wait time of 1 to 1.5 hours for the repair. I was going to wait there but got a call and had to get back to work. I get back to the shop at 5pm for them to tell me they did not work on my car at all yet. When I asked why they had no response other than "an appointment guarantees you can drop off the car, not that we will have time to fix it" Absolutely ridiculous!! I asked them to just replace the tire for my wife's car and his answer was "not going to happen today it's too late in the day and one of my mechanics left early". This is 5pm on a Friday everywhere else is closed, meanwhile they close at 7pm. Due to their unwillingness to help, and negligence my wife not only had to uber on Friday to and from work but saturday as well. I did call the corporate office on Friday, they told me the area manager was going to call me within 24-48 hours. I didn't hear from anyone. Wednesday I called in again and was told they are going to escalate to the area supervisor would reach out within 24-48 hours and I have still to hear back from anyone in regards to this. read more

Arrived at the shop around 4 and by closing time at 7 my car was repaired. All the staff I dealt with were courteous, communicated well, and made the repair process easy. Highly recommend. read more

I am utterly disgusted with what seems to be racism at your establishment. I came in to drop off my car. The first gentleman Charles I believe was his name, with the bald head was assisting me. He informed me about the wait for the wheel alignment which I agreed too. I informed him that I live 5 minutes away and if it were possible to drop my groceries (perishable items) at home and come right back. His reply was. "after I put you in the system You can not leave with the car" I said ok I will wait. The Caucasian male who was there before ( who had his mask around his chin and not covering his nose and mouth) came in and did what seemed to be exactly what I requested. I may be wrong but he took the keys right off the counter and walked out and said I'll be back. Again, he did not have his mask over his face. The only difference was he was white, and I was black. My next experience was when I spoke with Lee. I road my bike after a workout back to the shop. As soon as I stepped in Lee stated " You have to have a mask to come in here". I immediately realized I did not have my mask and walked right back out. I removed my shirt and used it as a mask. When I walked Back in, I kindly requested if I could keep my bike in the shop while I waited. His reply was only if you have a car in the shop. I stated that I do have a car in the shop. He stated again if you actually have a car here. I stated again "YES I have a car here". I had to prove I had a car in the shop by pointing at it. It was embarrassing. He did not believe me. After bringing my bike I met a companion of mine who was waiting to get work done. She was upset as she informed me that a Caucasian male was in here checking his car out and did not have a mask on the entire time he was in the shop. It was approximately 1512 and the other gentleman left about 3-4 minutes before I came in and he checked out his white Toyota Camry. Again the difference was the color of our skin. It seemed extremely pellucid that what I experience was racism. I am patiently waiting on an explanation on what transpired before I escalate this from just a review. In the climate that this country is in right now this is unacceptable. My least concern which is still quite troubling he estimated my wait to be about 2 hours. I am approaching my 3 hour mark, and my car is still outside. No update, no explanation. Customer service does not seem to be high on their priority. I later returned because something was still off with vehicle and he did it again. I know it was busy so I stood right in front of The counter waiting for Lee to acknowledge me. Approximately 5-7 minutes later a white couple with an infant walked in. Not even a minute passed before he looked over at them and only them and stated " I will be right with you folks in a few moments" . I stood their thinking to myself how disrespectful this was in complete and utter shock again. When he finally came over to me, he kindly explained what was going on with my vehicle. I am baffled how you can kindly explain to me what's wrong with my car but completely disregard what seems to be unconscious racism. Either way it again is completely UNACCEPTABLE.. read more

Horrible customer service at this location came in just needing a patch in the tire was told not unless i left the car there all day . I went into Firestone because there was a problem with my transmission. They told me it would cost over $100 for them to see exactly what was wrong. They call me up the next day to tell me there is something wrong with my transmission (yeah I know) but they don't know exactly what the problem is and that they don't actually fix transmissions there so I would have to bring it somewhere else. I managed to pay only half the cost but still I should not have been charged at all. I went across the street to All Transmission World where they checked it for FREE. read more

I've had a lot of car trouble in my days and have had some pretty miserable cars. The fact is, when you have a serious car issue, your first step is to get it diagnosed (properly - by either the dealer or a reputable shop) and your second step is to do research to find the best price. Sometimes the dealer is surprisingly your best (and least expensive) option, while other times the dealer is outrageously overpriced. Same goes with chains such as Firestone. As with most chains, they pull you in with cheap oil changes and remind you to get pricey preventative work frequently. If you use your brain and do your pricing research, you will never get duped. This location will frequently offer price matches and offers great coupons, like $19.99 oil changes with free tire rotation. They also have kick-butt specials like lifetime alignments for $179.99 that sometimes go on sale for a lower price. They additionally have great deals on brake jobs ranging from $80-$100 including labor and "lifetime" pads. Overall, I have been to this location several times and have been pleased with my service each time. I rarely have a long wait, and I get treated with respect by each employee.This location has done the honest thing of telling me that a screw in my tire could be repaired - despite me coming in saying that I thought I needed a new tire. They have told me my wheel bearings were fine even when I thought one of them was going bad. They aren't here to dupe you, but yes, they may try to get you to get preventative maintenance earlier than you may need/want it. Just be smart - getting shocks at a chain like this can cost double than what a well-rated local shop nearby costs, and getting something like a timing belt and water pump for my '03 Honda Civic costs $100 more than what Holler Honda charges. I am very leary of auto service places. However, I was very pleasantly surprised with how friendly and helpful all the men were here. I made an appointment the day before, I got checked in and was explained everything thoroughly. After about 30 minutes they came back to explain their suggestions for what I needed to repair- all of which I expected. They even took me out to my vehicle to show it all to me. Then walked me through an estimate and showed me all the deals they had going on. In no way did they try to upsell me a thing or talk me into extra services. Since I had break pads and rotors to be replaced on top of new tires I imagined it would take forever, however they got it all done in about 3 hours from start to finish! I highly reccomend them! After conducting a full engine diagnostic and coming back with a long list of needed repairs, he narrowed down the list to what I needed most and how it could fit into my budget. Extremely angry and will no longer have my car serviced at any Firestone or TiresPlus chain, ever again, after the treatment I received at the 10761 E Colonial Dr, Orlando FL Firestone Complete Auto Care branch. 1. Went in at around 12:15pm to have a "grinding" noise, that I initially believed to be a mechanical failure, diagnosed. The first customer service associate, Matt, told me that they would diagnose the vehicle within an hour, so I dropped my keys off and walked to a retail store within the plaza. 15 minutes later, I received a voice mail message from Matt, wherein he notified me that one of the shop floor mechanics BROKE the door handle of my 2001 Toyota Corolla, then, he OFFERED to have it repaired at a cost of $184. That's correct, a technician at this branch, BROKE my door handle, then I was told that it would cost ME $184 to fix it, if I decided to have it fixed (I am keeping the voicemail recording for proof). I respectfully declined the offer and told him that I would simply repair it myself. I returned to the shop and pondered about this a bit more, then realized that my response was a bit too passive, so, I spoke with another sales associate, Ricky, and detailed to him the bizarre offer that was made to me, and he apologized and assured me that the repair would be on the house, as it should have been initially. 2. Ricky, another technician, and I walked over to my vehicle as it was suspended in the air to observe the proposed diagnosis of the "grinding" noise that I heard from my car. The technician pointed to one of my axles that sat flatly on top of an intersecting axle, and, he also lifted the hood of the car to show me where the strut had been completely dislocated from the upper joint, which held that axle suspended. I figured that it made sense, two iron rods up against each other, that would surely produce the grinding, rotary, noise that I kept hearing, so after a bit of price haggling, I agreed to a $400+ axle/strut repair. 3. At around 4:20pm, I received a phone call from Matt, he claimed that my car was "ready", so I paid half of the cost in cash, and had the other half transferred to my Firestone credit card, then left. While I drove out of the plaza, what do you think I heard coming from under my car? Correct, the same grinding noise that I paid $400, 10 seconds prior, to have resolved. I turned my car around and returned it to the shop, and the technician that worked on my car came out to greet me. He asked to come into the vehicle and we took it for a spin around the shop so he could hear what I heard, sure enough, the grinding noise returned, but this time, the diagnosis was different, the technician told me immediately that the issue, this time, was due to a leak, I believe around the transaxle area, which reproduced a sound similar to that of grinding gears, however, it was actually the sound of the air rapidly exiting the pneumatic chamber, as explained to me by the technician. When I asked whether or not the leak could be fixed, Matt told me that, due to the nature of the welded joints that connected the transaxle/transmission/catback, the job could not be done at this shop. So, the next question that came to my mind was; If the technician knew what the real issue behind the grinding noise was, why did he work on an unrelated, expensive, issue that I would not have asked to have repaired that day? To pad their pockets, of course! Harvey would be ashamed to see his slogan of honesty trampled underneath the feet of these swindlers! But it doesn't end there.... 4. Remember my broken door handle? Well, out of the kindness of my heart, I gave the technician a spare, driver-side, door handle that I had in my car . While I sat in the waiting area, I saw the technician working on the passenger-side door, when the driver-side door was clearly broken, and the replacement door-handle was clearly contoured for the driver-side door, so, after about 15 minutes of watching him dismantle the incorrect door, after having explained to him the correct door to be fixed, I walked over to him and told him that he was working on the wrong door, naturally, he claimed that he was working on the right door, so I took the door handle and placed it over the driver-side door handle and made him understand that he was incorrect. He said that he would complete the job promptly. Thirty minutes later, Matt drove my vehicle to the front of the entrance, and what do you think I saw? A broken driver-side door handle. Matt attempted to correct me in saying that the passenger side door was broken, and, that the handle was for the passenger side door, so, again, I took the door handle from him, PLACED IT OVER THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR HANDLE THAT WAS BROKEN, and made him understand that the driver-side door handle was indeed for the driver-side door. So, he drove the vehicle, BACK INTO THE SHOP and made the same, incompetent technician work on it again. Lost $400, and the noise is still in the vehicle. 0/10. read more

However they gave me no notice and no call for the delay. I asked them to rotate my tires. I left and my tire pressure now needs to be fixed. read more

The guy at the front desk dan was super sweet and so was his coworker Matt. They got me in and out as quickly as possible they were honest, and even the boys in the garage were working hard. I take good care of my car cause without it I'd be screwed. I don't ever miss an oil change, tire rotation, fix a part if it's broken, take care of my tune ups etc. etc. Well, I've taken my car to three different Firestones in Orlando based on my current convenient location. First, at this particular location they told me an oil change would take 30-40mins. After waiting 30mins and to see my car hadn't even been taken back yet, I started to make a stink because I had some place to be afterwards. If it's going to take an hour, tell me that so I'm not wondering why it's taking so long. It took almost an hour an half to get my car finished. I watched the auto mechanics and saw some of them working on my car talking and taking a chill break in between which what took even longer to be done. Finally when my car was ready they started recommending fuel induction service, I had done just 2 months ago AT ANOTHER FIRESTONE LOCATION! I needed to change my tires because they were wearing, I replaced all of them this year because of two flat tires, I needed to change my O2 sensor which was replaced 4 months ago. The total for all these repairs coming out to almost 500$. I know what my car needs, I'm not a stupid Barbie doll to be taken advantage of. They try to up sell you on BS. He was taken aback my my responses like "oh well your loss if something happens to your car" yeah sure thing bud, I've had my car for 10 years I know when every repair was done what was done down to the type of oil brand and number specification that was used. On top of that when I got in the car they dirtied the entire rug with oil marks in my car rug. Didn't even use protective paper for it. These people at this Firestone is boloni sandwich. read more

I literally went in there 2 days in a row, for different reasons of course, and the service was superb! Jim Palmer the manager in the Union Park location, is Awesome and took the time to understand what I needed and what I couldn't do due to money restraints. They do not try to sell you on fixing things that don't need to be fixed yet nor do they try to run you broke as you walk out the door! I took my car to firestone in june 2017 to get a fix because when i was driving it was make werid noise by my tire. So I took it thinking they knew what they were doing. They fix it but a week later it was making the same nosie so i took and they fix again. Five month later the nosie came back and took again. They look at it an they say the transmission was broken which i have change 3 year ago. So i took it somewhere and they say that the part they put in firestone was force in and because of that slow my transmission shut on. I am never come back here again Think twice when u come here. I've been to this firestone a few times for different things. The customer service is ok , but the service they do on my car is crap... it took them 3 hours to change my oil and they had a half empty garage. I also came here for an A/C compressor and that took 5 different trips to firestone before they fixed it. The thing that makes my angry the most is their lack of communication. I'll talk to them over the phone and they'll tell me they have the parts and the time to come in, but when I get there they are never ready(missing parts , lost the appointment time, specialist is on lunch break). read more

WARNING: you will scammed out of your money. DO NOT TRUST THEM. Took my Toyota 4-Runner there to fix the battery hold down kit and an hour later they called back with an entire list of issues with my car. All of the listed issues were quite surprising. The man on the phone (I forget his name) told me my battery power was very low and that I should replace it. I was shocked because I literally replaced it three months before. Later on the phone call I asked if the battery replacement could wait and he urgently changed his observation saying that the battery was actually dead. He also told me that my brake fluid was leaking alongside multiple other issues. Which all added up to a hefty sum. We went ahead and had them install a new battery which was quite foolish on our part (My sister and I are not car savvy at all and our dad who is currently deployed would normally be the one to help us.) The next day we took our 4-Runner to Toyota without telling them about the list of issues that Firestone had written up and lo and behold the only problem with my car was the BATTERY HOLD DOWN KIT. It appears Firestone had made up an entire list of "mandatory" repairs. I honestly have never been so insulted. It was a rude awakening and it was quite unsettling considering we just moved here. I arrived early for my appointment and the staff was courteous and took care to explain the work to be done. They promptly began service on my car and continued to provide updates throughout the process. They actually finished earlier than I was initially told.
