I bought a used Jeep and usually do most mechanical work myself, but I had an issue with a leaking…read moreaxle seal after taking a trip to Utah and didn't feel comfortable dismantling the front axle.   I looked around locally and after talking to Ethan and Jason I felt comfortable with them and the team did an excellent job on the repair.    The work was done on time and for the amount of the estimate.   I drove the Jeep for a few weeks and then I had the engine light come on.    Like I said I do most of my own mechanical work, so I diagnosed the issue as a faulty EGR valve.    I did the research to see what was involved and again decided it was more work than I wanted to undertake, so again back to this shop and the work was done on time and for the estimated amount.    And I'll say compared to dealership estimates Hilltop Performance was MUCH MUCH less expensive.    I would not hesitate to recommend anyone go here to get work done.

He had the tires replaced with a quality set, even had a second key made, and the truck was spotless when I finally picked it up. But recently I had front brakes in April and rear brakes in Dec replaced. But I still felt vibration when braking hard. Took the car back to Meineke and was told that I needed a new control arm and that they would put new pads on because I'm such a loyal customer. Also was asked if I wanted to pay over $1000.00 since they ordered the control arm from Kia. I told them that I won't pay until work is done. I took the car elsewhere to have a 2nd opinion. I did not need a control arm and that since there is still vibration- the brakes were probably not installed properly. I went back to Meineke because the brakes have a warranty. They checked again and said the brakes were good and when questioned about the control arm they said well, it's been replaced. We saw on car fax that it was replaced. They were not replaced - only inspected! They were trying to scam me out of over $1000.00! I will definitely not ever go back there!!

It's nice that they do a free inspection and take video and pictures to show you what is wrong with your vehicle which of course they'll try and make it sound like your car is on its last leg to try and get some extra money off of you....it's a mechanic shop. I dropped it off and they sent me the results of the inspection and wanted to charge me $2800 or something in that ballpark which my 12 year old truck I can sell it for cheaper than that...got it talked down to around $1300 and had some extra work done which I was being very passive and said okay to which I won't fault them for that. What I will fault them with however is that when I returned to pick up my truck I was told that everything was good and they test drove it and it was ready to go. I got in and put my truck in reverse and it would not idle...I thought maybe it was because I was on an incline or something who knows. I started driving down the street and my gas pedal was damn near to the floor to get my truck rolling in which I decided to give them a call that somethings not right. They got it fixed for free of course but my issue was that I was told it was test driven and good to go but how did you not notice something was up driving the truck for the bay to the parking spot. To me it seems the person doing the work either doesn't have a clue what they are doing or they were dishonest and tried to pass it off so they could get the next customer in. That is where the issue

And THE MOST DISTURBING ISSUE was when a kind motorist pulled me over only 3/4 of a mile after leaving Quick Lane, stating my rear tire was wobbling.... When I looked, THREE, yes THREE Lug Nuts were missing and the other Three were only finger tight. If it weren't for that observant motorist, I may have been severely injured if I got onto the highway as planned in addition to avoiding significant damage to my vehicle! Upon arrival, the lady and gentleman at the desk were friendly and welcoming. I asked for oil change, tire rotation, and wheel alignment. Estimated wait time was about 1-1.5hrs. They had to squeeze me in due to me needing to reschedule so I wasn't too worried about waiting a bit longer. Waiting room was clean and comfortable, bathrooms were clean. At the hour mark the gentleman updated me on where they were at with my car and apologized for not having it ready. My car was completed within an hour and a half from the time I dropped it off. They didn't take advantage of me and add on stupid services I didn't need (I asked for a wheel alignment and didn't need it) and they provided me with all the paperwork for the checks they performed on the car. The few other customers waiting with me seemed to be pleased with their service and everyone was treated with respect by the employees. Prices aren't bad either, they have deals running online and have an app you can earn points on to put towards future deals. I'll definitely be returning to this location for my vehicle maintenance. Best tire/auto shop in this area. *24yro female for reference, young ladies like myself tend to be taken advantage of*
