My car was running low on oil on a road trip from Chicago to Cincinnati, so I pulled in here in a panic hoping they could squeeze me in to get me on my way. They very quickly topped me off with a quart of oil to get where I was going and didn't charge me a dime! Id rate them a zero. Have had multiple incidents that they have told me things were needing done that didnt. Didnt go back for a couple years and then went back for an oil change. Was told i needed new brakes and tires. 400$ for new brakes and 700$ for 4 tires. Doing them ourselves, when we took the brakes off the old brakes were at 8mm. New brake pads are 10mm! So they lied that the brakes needed replaced. Better name brand tires at Costco with longer warranty were 584$. They are such a fraud. And if you are a woman they will surely try to sell you crap you dont need. Have someone look at it before you have them do anything. read more

Disappointed... Over 3 hours just to mount and balance 4 tires. This was with a morning appointment. No way these guys are flat rate they would be broke. Extremely slow service, most of the techs just standing around. Occasionally you'll hear an impact gun, who knows if it's actually being used for something. When you drive by the place is always packed, and that's because they're not getting anything done. Not to mention I had to finish the job once the car was "done". Only one of the tires had the right amount of air in it. The other 3 were 15-20lbs. The advisor I dealt with was Justin, a nice, professional guy. The other older guy hit on every female that came in the door. Go somewhere else. read more

I have a fleet car and am limited on where I can take it for repairs, even things like basic oil changes. This was the closest store to my house so went in the first time and set up an appointment as I hate waiting around. I explained I wanted an oil change and the wipers needed replaced. They made those notes then I showed up the next day for the appointment. I walked across the street to get some food, came back, car was ready but they did not change the wipers. When I asked why, I was told they didn't have them in stock. I explained I was explicit when I set up the appointment I'm person I needed the wipers changed so kinda asinine they didn't order the wipers. Fast forward to needing oil change again and really need wipers. I stop back on the same store, explain I need an oil change and to check if the wipers are in stock. Am told yes but then politely explained I want him to verify both the front and back wipers are in stock. After 10 minutes, I finally get confirmation and get the appointment set up. Get to the store about 10 minutes early for the appointment, store has computer issues and they don't check me in until around 11:15 (I'm just standing around for 25 minutes waiting as the guy jiggles the mouse trying to get the computer to work). Finally get checked in and I tell them I'm walking next door to get some food. He writes noon on the sheet for expected completion date. I finish eating g and walk back around 11:55 and they have not even brought my car in yet. I was trying to get someone to just pull my car back out and I'd be on my way but can't even get someone to wait on me unless I cause I scene. Prolly should have but at this point I just want this appointment to be over so I can go on with my day. While it won't be the closest place, I'll definitely be going elsewhere for the next service I need. read more

I will preface this by saying that I've only ever experienced friendly employees, and the location is convenient, but the wait times for service are absolutely ridiculous. I've bought tires for all of my vehicles here, and when you purchase tires at Tire Discounters you receive free tire rotations. I've made appointments and just showed up to get my tires rotated, and it has made no difference in the service time. Last weekend, I showed up without an appointment to get my tires rotated. They said they were busy and it would be a couple hours before they could get to my vehicle. No problem, I was expecting this and I didn't have an appointment, so I was happy they could get me in. I left and after a couple hours received a phone call that their power went out and they hadn't been able to rotate my tires yet. Again, this situation was out of their control, I completely understood and went to pick up my vehicle. I then scheduled an appointment for the following Saturday at 10 AM to get my tires rotated. When I showed up for my appointment, the lot was completely full and there were people milling around the store. They checked me in and said it would be a while. At this point, I was beginning to question things because I had a lot of other things to do that day, and I had an appointment, so you would think my vehicle would take priority and be done in a reasonable amount of time. Wrong... I overheard the two employees behind the desk talking about how it would be a couple hours before they could get to my vehicle, and one of them said, "Well she's dropping it off," implying it wasn't a rush to them. I asked the employee who was helping me how long it would take, and he said about two hours. Pretty ridiculous for a scheduled tire rotation in my opinion, but I said ok and left. After an hour and 45 minutes of waiting around, I came back to the location and my vehicle was still where I left it in the parking lot. They hadn't even taken it back yet! I went in, talked to the employee and asked for my keys because I couldn't wait any longer and they hadn't even started working on my vehicle yet. The employee apologized and asked if I wanted to reschedule, but what's the point if it's going to be over two hours no matter what? He made the excuse that one of their mechanics was late, so they were behind on all of the appointments ahead of me. Not sure how that's my problem? He also said that scheduling appointments at 8 AM is better because then you're the first on the list to get done. Excuse me, but that's not how appointments work. It shouldn't matter if I schedule at 8 or at 10 if you schedule correctly. Also, if they are short staffed, they should do customers the courtesy of giving them a call and offering to reschedule. Then, the employee said weekends are busy, and it's better to schedule for a weekday morning. Umm, people have to work??? It is so obvious that our time is not important to them, and I think it's partly because they aren't making any money off of the service. At this point, I had wasted 4+ hours just to have my vehicle not be serviced at all. I will not be purchasing tires at Tire Discounters again, and I'm happy to pay for service at a place that respects my time. read more

Got a quote for tires then someone called us back and said car needed struts also we agreed since my husband said total? Guy repeated $700 and something, thinking since the tires were around 500 the extra was to do the struts. When we get called to pick up it is ready the $700 was just for the struts, manager said he was the one who called and spoke with my husband and said he told my husband the struts alone would be $700 or so. We argued and he said he could take them back off and we said do it and call us when you are done. read more

Broke the latch on my door and lost my chrome lug nuts on the back wheel, put rusty ones on in its place.I went up to have my tires rotated , I stood at the bay door watching them because They have guys with zero training working on people vehicles. Today was the second bad experience I had with them, won't ever go to the Harrison Ohio tires discounters again. BTW, when having your tires rotated, they are supposed to balance them as well, they didn't even do that. Done with them. read more
