Cute little place in Old Montreal that is great to grab some drinks with friends and small bites to share. Their drink menu has a good amount of options from cocktails, wines, and mocktails. What caught my eye is that they have some of the chefs make the food in front of you and the music set the ambiance of a nice Friday night to start the evening. My family and I ordered about 8 tapas which is what they recommended for a table of 4. For the first round, we got the Crevettes Croustillantes (crispy shrimp), Anticucho de Pieuvre (octopus), Tiradito de Pato (Duck breast), and Papa Rellena (beef). These were all great starters for the table that you could easily share with a mix of seafood and meat. The only one I felt was not that special was the Crevettes Croustillantes as it was similar to a shrimp tempura to me. For our second round of tapas, we ordered the Ceviche Classique (catch of the day - hamachi that day), Causa de Crabe (crab), Pollo Frito (fried chicken), and the Anticucho de Canard (duck). This round was even better as my favorite was the duck on the skewers. It was very soft and tender. Their Huancaina sauce mixed well with the Peruvian marinade they had the duck in. The crab was something and the fried chicken was also cooked very well. The only issue we had was that it took about 15 minutes before someone first came over to us to greet us, give us some water, and ask us about the menu. Once we were able to have someone attend to us, we enjoyed our meal and our waiter was attentive to us. Overall, I recommend coming here for some drinks and small bites with friends. This place is cute and casual.

This place always seems packed and there's a good reason why: the quality of the food is excellent. The seafood dishes particularly stand out. Loved the salmon tartar, octopus, and the ceviche! Unfortunately this is a lower rating, because the place was extremely busy and service ended up being very slow. Saw one group wait over 40 minutes for their food and they weren't the only ones. Luckily we had our food orders in early, but even getting the bill was a 15 minute process. The portion sizes are quite small for the prices they charge (around $20 per dish and the same per cocktail). If I go back, I would definitely avoid weekend evenings.

I've been here a couple times now. It's a popular Peruvian fusion tapas restaurant on De Bleury. Food - (4/5) - Classic Ceviche - probably the best item on the menu. Both times very fresh with perfect mix of fish and flavourful ingredients. - Crab Causa - interesting mix including maple, tobiko and avocado. It was good overall. - Duck Anticucho - maybe it's me but I can't quite get into organ meat. Sauce was good but the marinaded meat was bit too firm for me. Service- (3.5/5) - it's a busy place and can get a bit slow as servers are covering lot of tables. Friendly staff. Atmosphere- (3.75/5) - it's brighter and more open than their sister restaurant Chifa down street which I prefer the vibe. Fair amount of tables and bar stools. Overall - (3.75/5) - it's not a bad place and good for couples or groups. I prefer Chifa personally.

FUN AND WELCOMING AMBIENCE! GREAT FOOD AND EXTRAORDINARY SERVICES! We found this Peruvian-Japanese restaurant when we were planning for our recent Québec trip. Initial thought - what is Peruvian-Japanese fusion supposed to mean? Next thought - let's give that a try! I'm glad we did, and the dinner at Tiradito was such an amazing experience. The atmosphere is chill and relaxing. Their frontline staff sort of have a dual role as server and chef. Our server, Marco, prepared the food in front of us, which further enhanced our interactions. Marco was amazing - he checked in and chit chat with us a bit regularly, and he also made some good recommendations for dishes and drinks. The cocktails are amazing and the food is of excellent quality overall. I particularly enjoyed the Ceviche, the Avocado Tiradito, the Octopus Anticucho, and the Picarones. The ceviche is well prepared - fish is very fresh and nicely firm, and the sauce is delightfully acidic with hints of spiciness. The avocado dish - I don't know how to describe it, but IT'S SO GOOD that we wanted to order it again right after! The octopus anticucho is probably my favorite dish for the night. The texture is well balanced - the mashed potato would melt in your mouth, while the octopus is so tender. Just imagine the satisfaction when you eat the whole thing in a one bite! The Picarones (donut type dessert) is so freshly prepared with the right level of sweetness. What a nice way to finish off an amazing dining experience! I'd definitely go back when I visit Montreal again next time, either for a few drinks with snacks or for a full meal. And thanks again Marco for your amazing hospitality!

This was so close to my hotel, went in around 6 and apparently if your going later you should make a reservation! But luckily I was still early enough so I got seated by the center bar. It's interesting but cool at the same time, while you sit by the bar you can watch them prepare the food. I had Jessica who was so friendly and made some good suggestions. I got the pisco sour, delicious!!! Ordered the octopus and wow! Cooked perfectly. And the cheese empanada, kinda like a wonton when it came out. The ambiance is very cool! But get the octopus!! Amazing!

Our first night in Montreal did not disappoint with our first stop being Bar Tiradito. This was a cozy bar with great food and great music. The service started off a little bit slow but overall the evening was a pleasant experience! I got a maracuyá sour as my drink of choice. It was not too strong on the alcohol side. If you like passion fruit, this is the choice for you! We orders lots of food! Octopus anticuchos, ceviche Classico, yucca fries, papa rellena, pollo frito, chicken dumplings and picarones for dessert. All the food was great! The octopus wasn't as tender as I had anticipated it to be but it was still good. The ceviche Classico was good but the sweet potatoe purée was like baby food and I would have preferred the boiled chunks. The yucca fries were great and the huancaina sauce was good and had a slight kick to it. The papa rellena was delicious and I could've probably eaten another one. Tasted like homemade! The chicken dumplings were good and just like any other. I didn't find anything to special about them. The picarones were light and not too heavy. They were the right size! I loved the music they had playing! If you are looking for a quiet place, this is not the place! Loved the experience and I would come back.

Didn't want to eat at the hotel so I went out to check out the town. And found this gem. I tried to take really good pictures but the lighting didn't prove as much. The food are small portions because it is Tapas. And they are down for the Peruvian mixed drinks, Pisco sour. I went with the spritz 55 and it was good but know that it taste like licorice so if you're not a big fan of licorice this will not be your jam! I ordered the octopus and also the Pollo Frito and that was good a lot of flavor, for a small Dish- soI was pleasantly surprised. Definitely this place is worth a try, I went on Wednesday so if you plan on going on the weekends just know that it may be busy. NOTE- as I was leaving this review, I realized I left my work cell phone there. I called the restaurant and thankfully they found my phone and was holding it behind the counter. Got there within 10 minutes, thankfully it was right next to my hotel. Forever grateful

Came in for a friend's birthday and was not disappointed! We basically ordered the whole menu... (sorry the pics aren't the greatest-- there was low lighting and I don't like being that guy that uses his flash, lol). Lots of flavor and loads of deliciousness! 5 star Pork Shank Butifarra Cauliflower Tostadas 4 star Dumplings Ceviche Scallops Octopus Calamari 3 star Crispy Shrimp Yuca Fries Our waiter/cook, whatever you want to call him, was spectacular.

Delicious tapas dishes. I came here for a light bite before dinner and had 2 dishes, both were very tasty! The tuna tiradito was well prepare and fresh. The octopus appetizer had a nice spicy kick to it. I dined and dashed but the service was friendly, quick and efficient, perfect for what I was looking for. I was surprised they were very busy, the restaurant has a fun and warm ambience to it, perhaps I was there too early in the evening.

Special drinks and tapas menu, each plate taste good and not overly salty. We tried the squid, duck brochette, scallop dish, and tried the dessert of sweet potato donuts which was not too sweet!
