This is a beautiful restaurant in an old world setting! The view of the stone block walls really adds to the ambience! And the location being in Old Montreal is perfect. Menu is decent, it's a nice assortment of Spanish style traditional French items. They have a nice drink and wine list too. Their BBQ Oysters were really good. Service was great... Friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely a nice place to come for a special occasion!

Went there for my birthday, locals love it here.so had to give it a try. Live the rustic decorations. Small restaurant so make reservations. We started w paper crane cocktail ( a twist on paper plane) it was good but it looked like a 2 oz drink. The glass looked very ball. See photo In NY we get 4 oz drinks. Other than that the food is great. Ayube the waiter/Sommelier/owner was very friendly n attentive. I got a nice sparklers w after dinner drinks to celebrate my birthday. Very cool.

They are amazing! 1. Reservation: necessary 2. Food: delicious, small portions pasta - delicious salad - mouthwateringly delicious, the best 3. Price: expensive 4. Service: friendly and nice 5. Drinks: amazing! See pictures, they are great!

Amazing hybrid British and Spanish cuisine in a cozy and bustling space with some eclectic touches. The paella is very solid with fresh seafood and spicy chorizo. The beef Wellington is a must order - the fillet is perfectly seasoned and a nice medium rare on the inside with a flaky crust on the exterior. Even the mashed potatoes were perfection. If you have room, get an order of the homemade brioche rolls which are sprinkled with a touch of sea salt. Heads up that these dishes will take a bit longer to prepare but order some appetizers and drinks and you should be okay.

The food is impeccable. Every dish was delicious, great aroma, and presentation. However, the price is definitely on the high side. We got 3 main entrees to share between 2 people, and each entree was between $80-90. The total came out to be $250 USD after tip and tax, which was a bit high given the portion sizes of the mains were much smaller than I expected. I was tempted to order more, but decided against it because everything on the menu seemed really over-priced. A couple other things that didn't factor into the rating: We didn't get bread for the table, which was a first for a $$$$ restaurant, and I was also sad that they don't serve the beef wellington anymore, which was the main reason I had wanted to come here.

Sublimely cozy, beautiful antique ambiance and warmly greeted. The food is innovative and delicious. The only miss was the coffee, which was surprising bitter and coarse, given that we'd found good coffee many other places. Other than that, this place was one of my very favorite dining experiences in the city.

We were on a quick trip to Montreal and Quebec, and visited two restaurants in Montreal. We were so grateful to have chosen Barraco! We had an exceptional experience with delicious food and incredible attention to service. The ambience of the restaurant is second to none! So warm and inviting, and on this very chilly night it was exactly what we needed! We loved every portion of our meal, and our server was very knowledgeable regarding wines and pairings. We were even treated to a special dessert. So grateful for this exceptional experience, thank you... We will be back!!!

Very amazing atmosphere!! Small street and amazing surroundings I'm restaurant. It's like a small French chalet!! Food was I would say 3 out of 5. Had oysters was very good. Drink selection many. Special was deer so you know it's fresh when specials say deer. I would recommend to have a romantic night or even if solo atmosphere won't make you feel out of place. Enjoyed very kuch

Exposed wooden beams, stone walls, large window, cozy atmosphere.

This is an amazing place where food is prepared not simply cooked. Every aspect of the restaurant is excellent.

Tucked away with a beautiful terrasse in the back, it's the kind of place you'd almost miss--but absolutely shouldn't. The service was fantastic from start to finish--attentive, warm, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling overbearing. The food was equally impressive. Everything we tried was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, with portions that are just right. The beef and mushroom tartare was a standout--rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced--and the braised lamb cavatelli was simply outstanding. The lemon tiramisu for dessert was the best ive ever had. Overall, a fantastic experience. Can't wait to come back!

My husband and I walked in on a Friday night and while it was busy, we were still able to get a table.
