There seemed to be no professionalism. He then proceeded to call me, because I figured he just didn't understand what I was trying to do via text. The phone call was also painful. He gave me a date and asked me what time between 9A-7P that I would like. I asked for 10AM and he said it wasn't available. Therefore, I asked what times do you have available for me to choose from. He proceeded to say 9A-7P. It felt like I was getting nowhere and my nails were never going to get done with the way things were going. Eventually, we finally come to an understanding and set up an appointment for the 12th at 11:30AM. However, after a little bit of thinking it over, I decided to cancel my appointment, because I can only imagine what the service itself would be like and I want to know I'm getting my moneys worth and good service. Therefore, I asked to refund my Groupon. Then I decided to contact my nail technician! The other screenshot is to show how quickly I got a response from my other nail technician I usually go to. Something they also mention on their site and Yelp and what not that appointments can be made via online, text, or phone calls. I've been getting NexGen for 14 years. Since September 22, I've gone to Nail Bar four times because my nails kept splitting at the sides, near the skin. Queen repaired them, but it happened again. On Tuesday, I went back to show the manager. She apologized and offered to fix the split nails. I declined and requested a fresh manicure, and was sent to another tech, Eva. I lost four of my nails because of the previous poor manicure. I was told Queen filed my nails too thin and didn't apply enough coats, which caused them to split. Eva, while doing my nails, told me they were too long and that I had to pay extra for the length or cut them down. I was never told in the past that I had long nails until Tuesday, when I refused to cut them down. I ended up getting gel nails based on Eva's recommendation. It was the first time I heard that gel is better than NexGen. I requested cat-eye, which I often wear, and I knew it would cost more. Eva didn't seem too happy and said she could have done two people in the time she spent on my nails. It took two hours to do my nails; I tipped her $20 and was charged $80. The manager told me she had deducted $15; otherwise, I would have needed to pay $95. It was a bad experience, and I was upset about losing my nails after going several times since September 22. Not only will I not go back, but neither will my daughter or two of my neighbors.

One of my key identifiers of a great salon is how long my polish stays on. This new "My Paris Salon" is fresh, stylish, clean, and tranquil. Probably my favorite feature is that there's no tv blaring. There are no hidden gimmicks concerning services and prices. Everything is transparent.
