The worst Salon ever! My sister and I came here to do my eyebrows and my sister had to do her gel manicure and pedicure. After me seeing what a horrible and messy work was done on my sisters nails, I asked them to redo it. They didn't even remove the previous materials and applied 3 messy coats for the gel manicure on top. They disrespectfully speak Chinese and you can understand they talk about you, instead addressing the issue. Her pedicure is a complete disaster, they didn't even remove the old skin etc. when I complained to the woman at the reception she said that that technician is their best. Really? Well even now I still LOVE this place. It is now my ONLY go to. Even if they are booked for the day. I will wait it out until I can get to them. They recently got a new manager and he has made some awesome changes to make this place even better. Biggest change would be the new pedicure massage chairs. They have such a modern look and doesn't look like your classic nail salon pedicure chairs. The manager is super nice and actually did my nails the last time I was there. Keep looking for another place to go! Expensive and just really bad quality. I have been on the hunt for a great nail salon ever since I moved to West Palm Beach. Needless to say I am still looking after going to tipsy. I made an appointment and had the pleasure of meeting Lucky. She is sweet, very friendly and accommodating however doesn't make up for the nail painting techniques and quality. My nail polish is bumpy and the sides of my nails are missing nail polish and blotchy. I think they all need to be retrained on how to paint nails. I am a customer and I believe I can do a better job of painting nails than these "professionals". I have been to multiple locations in West Palm and now in Wellington and they're all the same. They all need desperate training on how to paint nails. They need to go to Miami for training. I did gel manicure and regular pedicure. The color alpine white on my hands and the guy who did my toes (which is not the same person who did my hands) used a horrible old white polish for my toes. Looked more like the French tip polish with a very thin brush to do my toes. Won't be coming back, and to be honest SAVE YOURSELF the time and money AND LOOK FOR A BETTER SALON! Ended up paying $75 for poor quality work. Sorely disappointed. read more

I had plenty of time to do my nails while I waited for my hair to process and I had the BEST nail tech ever! Her name is LUCKY and I truly was lucky to have her do my nails. I got a full set with dip with tips. This lady was so friendly and kind but she also kicked *ss! She was able to do the full set with tips and a PERFECT dip job in about 30 minutes. She was super fast but efficient and professional and the results were fantastic. The total was $45 which was very reasonable and her work is STELLAR! read more

I love this place! I had Thy both times I came into the shop! The first time I came in was a walk-in because I had broken two of my nails during my travel to Florida. Thy fixed both nails and they were perfect! I had to get my nails done before I left Florida so I made an appointment with Thy. She did an amazing job with my pedicure and manicure. She was very gentle and got the job done! The receptionist was also very very nice as she came around about 4 times during my time in the salon to make sure everything was okay and to ask if I needed anything to drink. Very expensive for a pedicure and it's not worth it, I also wanted to take my old manicure off and they decided to just pop them off and not soak them or even file them down, had 4 different techs surrounding me while they struggled to get them off and proceeded to laugh at my pain bc it hurt, they even said the polish was thick so they should've known to file. They definitely don't know what they're doing. Only went here cause my normal salon was closed but really needed my nails off. There was another time I went here for the same thing just to remove my nails and it took over an hour to soak my hands in acetone, and again they didn't file them. This was my first time to this Salon. I'm new in town and saw good reviews. Then my daughter found a group on for a cut so I thought I'd try it. I needed my root and a little growth done as well. Everyone was friendly. It's a nice salon. I got home and realized that I could still see grays. I don't have a lot but what I have I want covered. That is what I paid for. I called back and trey scheduled me with that same lady to fix it. She basically told me she did the roots and that what wasn't covered was the growth. Ummm if you say cover the gray wouldn't you think that would mean the little bit of growth that is gray? I was irritated. read more

I've added photos for emphasis, but this is the worst salon experience I've ever had and has made me scared to get my nails done again. I work in an environment where it's impossible to keep nail polish on, but since I was going on vacation, decided it was time to get pampered. When I got there, my manicurist was talking to someone else's client the whole time, noticed he messed up a couple nails and continued without fixing them (until I mentioned it) and painfully cut my cuticles. Fast-forward a day or two, nails are starting to chip, where skin was cut is hurting, and my thumb is extremely painful. Another day or two, some polish is completely gone, the skin he excessively cut is peeling back, and my thumb is infected. I actually had to go to a doctor to get antibiotics. My nails haven't been the same since this experience - weak and breaking. Never again. Also, side note: my mother had her nails done by a different technician and hers came out great and gave her no problems. If you do decide to go here, just be careful. read more

Three days after paying 40 something dollars for a french gel manicure the white polish started coming off, not quite chipping off but almost like speckling. I had not done anything physical, hadn't been banging my hands on anything, wasn't exposed to any chemicals, nothing that could have caused this. So I called the salon and they very kindly agreed to redo it at no charge. Which I very much appreciate. However THE VERY NEXT DAY the white is almost gone on two of my nails. This time it peeled off in chunks. Again, I didn't do anything out of the ordinary to cause this. Very disappointed!! Update: They were very professional and good at accommodating me and redoing my nails twice. I will stick with the plain color instead of French. Not sure why this happened anyways... read more

Had an appointment set. when I arrived for my appointment, the front desk girl told me there was an issue with the booking system and double booked the girl I usually go to. When I asked them why wasn't I notified sooner she said she just found out . When asked will they be pushing back all the appointments to mend their mistakes, she said no I have to be rescheduled. Keep in mind, it's not like I live around the corner. I had to drive an hour to get there. No one seemed to care my time was wasted and was treated unfairly. I've been going to the same girl there for years and it's ashamed how even she was so nonchalant about the issue. Got my appointment wrong. Prices were different from the site. Did not take care of my ingrown toe nails after I specifically asked, but still managed to stab me once. Barely touched the bottoms of my feet. Left rough edges on my nails that I had to fix myself. All of this (including a decent drink) for $75! I could get a much better job for the same exact services for $45. I only went because my normal place is closed on Mondays. I'll never go back here. I have been looking for a new place to get my nails done since moving to Palm Beach and after trying a couple other places and not loving the experience, I found Tipsy Salon and I am so happy I did. The place is very clean. Staff is very friendly. The price are very comparable and the service is excellent!! Best pedicure I have had in a long time (I opted for the cocktail pedi for $35) and best of all- you can purchase a mimosa, champagne or a glass of wine to enjoy during your service!!! They didn't show me all the color choices at first and the ones they did have looked way over used. I go to kim for dip powder and she always does my nails exactly how I like and I'm picky! I've also met the owner and she is so sweet and all about customer service.
