my daughter went here for a gel manicure this morning before a flight out of florida. The process from start to finish was 15 minutes and her nails look awful. I suggested she go back and request a refund. she did not have time to have them fixed. the insisted nothing was wrong and tried to make show other patrons how they looked. then they said it was "just clear polish on her skin". (it was a color-buy no polish should have been on her skin). they wanted to try to fix it, but she didn't have time before her flight. she requested a refiund and after a prolonged argument they gave her $10 back on the cost if the manicure and refunded her tip. i will post a photo the salon was virtually empty, we know why. read more

AA Nails & Spa - close up of the gel manicure - Nail Salons Near Me - Lake Worth, Florida

My first time here today since I live close by. I was nervous to try a new place because you never know what you'll get with nail salons. I was served right away for a dip powder and did not have to wait. I'm so happy with how they came out and the nail tech did a fantastic job. He made sure all the nails were even and that I was happy with the result. Highly recommend! read more

I have been going to AA Nail Salon for several years. The salon is always clean. Debbie and Alex are always pleasant and friendly. Their prices are reasonable. More important, they always do a good job. It might not be the fanciest place, but I have been very satisfied with their service. read more

The salon took me without an appointment. I received an excellent mani pedi, new location, at an affordable price. The chair which I sat in while receiving the pedicure was so comfortable, it was therapeutic. read more

Tried this salon as it was near my house and very reasonably priced. I guess you get what you pay for. Alex was very pleasant - but I needed to ask him to file my nails more evenly both times I went. Powder dip chipped on one nail the first time I went ... and chipped on 3 nails the second and last time. Would not recommend read more

Nicest owners and they do a great job. They are hidden away in the back of a parking lot, but when you arrive, they greet you and remember you. Low-key, and a nice place to come for your nails. Not pushy nor do they rush you. read more

I got my nails done by Alex and he did a excellent job ! I came in with disgusting nubs and it was so embarrassing but I came out with beautiful hands again. He was amazing , nice and listened to what I wanted. The other reviews are wrong this place is great ! read more

What a great salon. I was insanely happy with the manicure I received here. I broke one of my gel nails during my vacation so I decided I needed a fix and a fill. The previous fill I got wasn't that great because the nail place in Uptown kind of sucks, so the guy who did my manicure told me we were going to start from scratch. He basically filed off the gel and applied something I've NEVER seen before. It was gel, but it had several steps of application of some polish and then DIPPING the finger into a vial of powder that sets into the gel. It was amazing. This process had five steps for each finger from start to finish, but the gel set immediately and was just ready once he was done. The gel came in various shades of white to pink so you could choose and then he had another powder for the French tip. I've never had such a great manicure. Ever. I had never heard of this system and I don't even remember what it was called but I have not yet found a salon in Chicago that offers the same thing. The gel nails were super close to the cuticle and I barely had any noticeable growth for over two weeks. The nails were shiny, perfectly shaped and just the right length. Seriously, this was the best faux set of nails I've ever gotten (gel or acrylic). This unassuming nail place is in a strip mall so you might miss it since it's overshadowed by Target. I'd make an appointment before coming in just because this place seems to be popular with the retirees in the area and it was pretty busy when I stopped in on a weekday afternoon in the summer. read more

The fact that it is very close to my house encouraged me to try this place instead of going to my usual nail salon, and become a regular to save time. I requested to file my own toenail because I like it a certain way and the technician wasn't doing it that way but he was upset. I don't think it needs to be a big deal. He was extremely rude. As I wanted to file my own toenail he wouldn't continue working on me, so he switched to another customer and told me I had to go with a different technician. I had to leave since she the other technitian was busy with other clients and I would have had to wait for a long time. Although he had removed my old dip, he had done a very poor job. For years, I have been going to get my nails every week and my feet every 2 weeks and I don't remember anything like this ever happening, even when I have asked to file my toenail before. A nail salon has never mistreated me like this. And the worse is that I travel tomorrow morning and I am uncertain if I will be able to make it to my usual location. I feel upset, sad, misstreated, and humiliated. read more

Got right away and the guy spoke English reason for 3 stars. But I came in for a simple polish change on my toes. The man had long thumb nails and as they use the tip of their thumb to hold your toe his finger nail was digging into me. I picked a summer white. Thankfully I didn't god red because he had to use the brush and acetone to fix the color he got on toes and cuticles (still is on my cuticles) If it had been a red you know you can not make that look good by doing this. Also the pedicure chairs have no shelf or hook for purse so you have to keep on lap. I will continue my search for a good nail salon. read more

I have been trying to get a comfort level with this place since it is just a few blocks from home. Each time I go in I witness rudeness to a customer or have been a recipient. I tolerated it simply for my own convenience until yeaterday. I called ahead to make an appointment rather than walk in. I'm going on vacation and want decent nails. When I called Debbie answers and quickly starts hesitating when I ask if there is an opening for 6pm. The closing time says 7pm. Hesitation, then I was told no I don't want to wait for you go find some place else. Who in their right mind ever says that to a customer. I then said, Debbie I have been coming to you for three years. The reply was simply laughing. Good way to run off business. The place needs a good cleaning. Not sure how they pass inspection but I don't get anything done that could cause fungus. If you are not getting an expensive service you can forget it. You are simply wasting their time. Debbie told me herself she can't make money on manicures and people can take that business somewhere else. Guess what I'm doing Debbie, going somewhere else and while I'm doing it I will be sure to let everyone know that you do not want simple manicure business that could lead into other business for you dependant on your customer service skills. What happened to the words NAIL SALON. Change it to, FAKE NAIL ONLY. if you do not make enough money on simple manicures don't offer the service or raise prices. Rudeness is not attractive Debbie. read more

Just had the worst experience I won't even leave the parking lot I'm so annoyed. Went to get my eye brows done and the girl swipes the hot wax across my eyeLID into my lashes and then tries to wipe it off with a cotton ball. I told her please go get someone else who can get this off of me because at this point I can't open my eye. The manager comes in a tries to wipe it off with baby oil and then says she will do it. I said No thank you absolutely not and stood up grabbed a tissue attempted to finish getting the wax off my face and then she says I'll do it for free and I said no thank you and left. How does this happen when you're supposedly a professional nail salon that offers waxing services ? Don't understand it. Will NEVER return. Wish I didn't even have to rate 1 star. read more

Came here spur of the moment with my mom. We both got pedicures. Staff was friendly. Service was quick and professional. Seating has massage chair which I always look forward too. Tv was on watching Rachel Ray talk show. Perfect for watching while getting your pedicure done. Only thing I didn't like was the strong wiry brush used to scrub the top of my toes. It was rough and hurt. But it was over quickly. read more

A friend took me to this salon. I will never go back. I went in to get a full set. Just regular acrylics. I decided to try the NextGen gel..... the owner did my nails, and seemed to me she wouldn't let anyone else do nails as they were all made to do pedicures. Ok back to my nails. I don't know if it was the owner being in a rush, or her skills with this product, or her skills in general that were lacking, but my whole right hand was slanted AFTER she had filed them. When I asked her to please make them straight it seemed like it was a hassle. The gel is thick and they are lumpy in spots. Very unhappy. read more

This place is DIRTY pedicure tubs are not cleaned, & manicure stations do not get clean towels..... No receipts are issued for cash payments

They were horrible they cut my fingers made my nails uneven and are all different sizes I spent $35 dollars on trash I was bleeding from them cutting my nails and still got fully charged they ha d a person do my nails that clearly had no idea what they were doing so they had to move me to another person because she could not do it and she also was horrible I do not suggest going here unless you want them to cut your fingers and make them look let trash they also left a bunch of residue on my nails it was the worst nail experience I have had so far out of all the places I went. read more

Me and my sister just got out nails done and they are all uneven her fingers are all cut up. Mine have scratches all over them and over all they look terrible none of them look the same. This is my second time going here and last time it wasn't that bad but they weren't even and broke the night we got them done. I am very disappointed. The nail is stabbing into my thumb. There all crooked. I'm disgusted. read more
