I have been going to this salon since the first owners were here and it was named, "Le's Nails". It has always been and continues to be a very friendly and wonderful place to go. Kevin and Kristie take their time with each service, ensuring that their customers get exactly what they need. If your nail chips, if something happens and you need to have it fixed they are more than happy to remedy the situation with no arguing whatsoever. Kristie does a beautiful job with eyebrow waxing and my nails. Sometimes I come in, stressed from a long work week and tell her what I think I want and she turns it into something a hundred times better. I go to her for Gel nails, Next Gen and Ombre services. I dance and like to match my outfits. She has done a gorgeous job with glitter, matching colors, creating eccentric designs and goes out of her way to be detail oriented. Kevin is a kind and easygoing guy; he has filled in for Kristie helping me out when she becomes too busy or needs assistance. When I come to the spa they treat me like family. I have gone to other places and they just don't have the same level of care or commitment-- I wouldn't go anywhere else for a pedicure, eyebrow wax or manicure-I have found my place for life!

It took a little driving around to figure out how to enter the parking lot and parking spaces are a bit tight. After realizing my mistake, I logged onto their website through Yelp to check the booking process. I was relieved to find the booking platform was user-friendly, which allowed me to quickly book the first available appointment (Regular pedicure with French) they had for the afternoon (12:45 PM). Shortly after booking, I did receive a text message confirmation of my appointment. I decided to find somewhere to grab a bite to eat before returning for my appointment time. When I returned I was quickly checked in by their receptionist and brought back to the pedicure chairs. I was greeted nicely but the pedicurist didn't introduce herself so I can't confirm her name, but online it said my appointment was with Lissa. There was one client leaving when I arrived and another getting a manicure. The salon is very spacious and clean. A very strong citrus scent fills the building. Very light spa music played in the background throughout my visit. The TV plays videos of various island resort beaches. The gel polish removal process was very natural. No drill was used. From there she proceeded with my pedicure which was ok. She was very gentle in handling my feet and legs. I was a bit disappointed at the cold pedicure water and there were no jets or bubbles but maybe that's included with the higher priced pedicure options. This salon is DEAD SILENT lol like you can hear a pin drop in here. Very different than what I am use to. Lissa did a good job of cleaning the nail beds and achieving my desired length and shape. The outcome of the French was also just ok. I personally didn't really care for how thin the French on my big toes were but all other nails came out flawless. Their pedicure chairs are some of the most comfortable I've experienced. The massage is gentle and doesn't violently knead your back while the chairs themselves hug you like a glove. I don't know if I would return but I would definitely recommend to anyone who lives close by. Especially anyone very big on natural nail restoration. My total was $56.65 not including tip. My itemized bill was conveniently emailed to me within minutes of checking out.

I do usually ask for an extra layer of the NexGen since I'm tough on my nails, and they've accommodated me without issue. They specialize in designs and charms, but I'm too boring to try them...an accent nail is really as far as I go. I've also never had other services done, but I know they do lashes, pedis, manis, gel, and acrylic - including ombré and glow. They have steady business, so I highly recommend calling early or a day (or two during winter/equestrian season) in advance for an appointment!

Lots of disappointing surprises: Unless you ask for a "polish change", I have never been to a nail salon that didn't remove cuticles, shape nails and get them ready to be done. They also include lotion and a hand massage. Most salons in the CT also include neck massages while nails are drying, but I do know that is not everywhere. At this salon, unless you ask them to "add a manicure" to your dip or gel nails, this normal part of nail services is NOT included. They wanted to charge my an extra $20 for lotion and cuticle care on top of the $45 for the Next Gen Dip service. Unreal. Also they only shape your nail with a file *after* polishing it. They readily & proudly admit that they don't want to do it twice, so only file and shape nails after painting them. The problem with this is that the very tips of your nails are without polish! To be fair our nails (except for the white, polish free tips) did come out nice. That said, my sister and I agree we have never felt so rushed and un-relaxed leaving a nail salon. We would not go back, and suggest you go elsewhere.

The technician working on her had long, pointed nails underneath her gloves, and she kept poking my sister hard enough that it hurt. Although the technician was wearing gloves, the gloves actually broke during the service. I still paid for our services because the work was performed, even though I was very unhappy with the experience and the final results. Unfortunately, my nails themselves are just okay and definitely not what I expected from a professional salon. What concerns me most is being cut multiple times and the discomfort my sister experienced. Nail salons need to be especially careful about sanitation and preventing cuts to the skin. Sadly, based on this experience, I would not return or recommend this salon. Was not worth $100 for 2 pedicures.
