Literally the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. Not sure which was worse, the paint cracking off the next day and chipping off the day after that, or the guy working there who's COMPLETELY miserable. Seriously, there are so many other places to get your nails done. It's also super dirty there and they used tools that weren't sanitized. Horrible! read more

The salon seems a little outdated. The pedicure massage chair didn't work, and the towels were stained. The workers kept to themselves and chatted amongst each other. Which personally, I don't mind as I enjoy time to myself while getting my nails done. My technician paid a lot of detail to my cuticles which I love! It was an okay experience for the price. Very nice and attentive. Great price, $50 for both. I loved my manicure and pedicure. I will definitely be back. Only con was we made an appointment and then they couldn't start on us until about 30 min past the appt time because they had too many walk ins. I would recommend them though. Also, they're doing a 10% discount cause of new ownership and a punch card to get money off after so many visits. read more

I first went to Tipsy Nails for a pedicure (my first, ever!) The staff was so attentative and wanted to please. I felt comfortable immediately. Biting my nails for over 50 years, I never thought I would see the day that I had my own nails (years ago I have had acrylic nails, only to lift after a few days). Talking to Tipsy Nails about my finger nails, they went right to work and put tips with gel on me. Well, two months later, I have my own nails!!! I can't be more pleased! Had an appointment for 2 pm and I was running a few minutes behind. Called the place at 2:03 to let them know I was on my way about 5 minutes out. The dude tried to reschedule me for 3 pm, which I said no to. I arrived at 2:10 was told to sit down by the dude at the front. Waited for 10 minutes until he walked up and I asked if I was going to have to wait until 3 since he did NOT give me a time frame for how long I was supposed to wait. He said that Lynn was ready right then and I mentioned that I needed to run to get cash at the bank. He proceeded to tell me I was late for the appointment (which the technician wasn't even done with her prior client until 21 minutes AFTER my scheduled time of 2 pm) so I told him that if he had told me I was going to sit and be waiting for 10 minutes I could've run over to get cash. To me, it didn't matter if I went before or after, but either way I had to get cash and Lynn had to clean up from her last client anyways. So I went to get cash and upon returning- the dude completely ignored me, would not make eye contact or answer when I asked if I was going to have to wait until 3. Oh, and he had Lynn take another walk in client. This man didn't communicate how long I'd have to wait, proceeded to make it seem like I was super late when Lynn was not even done until 20 min after my scheduled appointment time and then couldn't give me 5 minutes to walk over to get cash for the technician at the Wells Fargo. It's okay, I took my $200 every two weeks for self care elsewhere. you're not the only nail salon in town and you've just lost a client and my family members who have been going to your location for two years. Hope your guy at the front can learn to not be so disrespectful. read more

Not recommended. The Nail technician finished a pedicure (no gloves were worn), rinsed the tools in water only and placed in a storage place and retrieved a second set. No sterilization apparently. She then came and did my manicure without washing her hands. While she did ok cutting my nails and cuticles, she did a minimal hand massage(not hand and arm as most places do). She put only one coat of polish on my nails & no base. She only did a second coat after I asked. The place appears run down a bit and no attempts were observed for hand washing between clients or sterilizing. There are plenty other salons that provide a better experience and similarly priced. read more

My mom, sister and I came for 3 pedicures and 1 manicure (we had an appointment). We were all seated for our pedicures at the same time however there was only one nail technician available at the time. For all three pedicures it took an hour. Also, during the service we heard a fellow technician ask another customer "whats wrong with your big toes?" Which she replied "My toes? What's wrong with them?" We waited another 30 minutes for someone to be available for a manicure. We asked to pay for our pedicures and leave because we were tired of waiting and she assured us they were almost ready. After another 15 minutes they started on my sisters manicure however they were so short staffed that she was passed around to at least three different technicians! Our appointment was at 12:30 and we didn't get out of there until three! Overall, they were overly busy and there was not enough staff. I wish she would have turned us away instead of making us wait so long for poor service. read more

I will no longer be coming here and mind you I've been coming here for 15 years. the serviced I received was awful lazy and half ass-ed, not to mention the nail tech I had was extremely rude kept getting up and taking personal calls I was extremely upset about everything that I didn't even let him finish. and during check out he told me a price and charged my card a higher amount and when I brought it up he argued with me, I have never been disrespected like this before here. I got my nails done here two days ago and one nail has already fallen off. I also paid for gel nails, but my nails are chipping. I wouldn't go back. I spent $50 dollars + tips and my nails are messed up after two days. If you want good nails, go to posh. At least they don't disappoint. read more

I will always recommend this nail salon because they don't rush I've been to others that just want you in and out but here you can tell they care about the quality of their work, I had acrylic nails done here and Kathy did them and took the time to make sure nothing was crooked and everything was even and I felt she really took pride in her work and everyone else that works there is so friendly. I've been to a different salon where they left globs of acrylic under the nail and Kathy made sure that the nails had no extra acrylic under them and the nails lasted a long time and I got so many compliments on them and I will definitely only be going here for any nail needs, I can also tell you that they follow all proper disinfection procedures from everything I could see and that is possibly the biggest thing for me because at the other salon I didn't see nearly as much cleanliness.
