I usually never leave reviews, but I came in for two pedicures with my mother and was treated with a terrible attitude. I asked politely for a little extra cleaning around my toes and was told I could do it myself. I didn't argue, but then she told me I could paint my own nails too--and to basically do everything myself. I have never felt so disrespected. It was incredibly unprofessional behavior. To make it worse, once she said she wouldn't do my nails, she walked to the back and started complaining about me to the other workers. The owner witnessed all of this and said nothing. She didn't even finish my nails properly. Absolutely disappointing. read more

Pedicure was very quick and almost no massage, which was unfortunate since that is my favorite part about a pedicure usually. I also showed the nail tech a picture of the micro french manicure I wanted, and let him talk me into dip. The dip is so thick and unnatural looking. After he attempted a couple times to make the French tip thin I finally just acted like it was what I wanted even though it was not like the picture. I paid over $100 and will definitely not be going back. The staff is polite and did offer some refreshments, but unfortunately the quality was not there. Had a gel manicure that only lasted 10 days before chipping on 8 of my nails. Thought I'd give them another chance and went back for a regular manicure since the gel manicure looked bad. The women put uneven layers on my nails and cut my thumb cuticle when removing the gel polish. I was embarrassed to be seen with this bad looking polish job ( my kindergarteners could have done better!) so I called the next day and was rudely told they don't fix regular nail polish manicures when they chip. I said these are not chipped as it was done yesterday but looks lumpy and uneven. I just wanted them to remove the 6 layers they put on and reapply a normal looking polish job. I tipped really well both times before seeing the actual outcome and will never go back here or recommend. read more

I moved into the community that is very close to this nail salon and spa and was so excited about the reviews and the proximity to my house. I made a reservation as others had suggested and got seated immediately when I arrived. The staff was very friendly and nice. They did a great job on my dip manicure and so far it's lasted two weeks without chipping. I will definitely be back next week for a color change and a pedicure! read more

This place is amazing and top notch. The salon is clean, modern, and elegant. All the employees wear uniforms, which is a first for any salon I've ever been to. Little details like that show the professionalism of the salon. I had my nails done yesterday at another salon. I left that salon so disappointed with my botched dip nails, that the second I got in my car I searched for another nail place and found itouch. I called and explained the situation and they got me in immediately. I am so beyond pleased with my nails and can't wait to go back for my next set. They have super fun stickers they can put on your nails, which again, is the first time I've seen at a salon. My dip nails are perfectly applied and shaped. There's nothing more frustrating than getting dip nails that are thick and look unnatural. They overall seem very up to date with the latest products and designs. And you can tell every nail technician there takes pride in their job. Best nail salon I've ever been to! And I've been to A LOT having lived in several different states. Unfortunately despite the good reviews, I didn't find this place to be the most hygienic. Also, they mopped the floor without sweeping, and then made us (with our newly cleaned and pedicured feet) walk across the floor they had just "mopped" to the manicure stations. No disposable flip flops available for use. I got a full set, which looks ok, but he didn't cover the entire nail so there are gaps and my cuticles are pretty chewed up from the file. Okay, maybe I'm totally spoiled about mani/pedicures, but this was Not Good. Went in today with my son. I had made an appointment 4 hours ahead of time so we would be sure to get in. I was told it wasn't a problem and they took my name. When we got there they were a little busy, but sat us down right away. I asked for the $50 pedicures for each of us, thinking it would be lovely to get our feet taken care of and the massages on legs and feet. It was All Rushed. Took maybe 28 minutes to do our pedicures, and there was No massaging of any kind. When I went to get up and leave, my feet were so greasy I had to walk Very Carefully in my flips so I didn't end up on my backside, because they didn't even rub the lotion into my feet and legs. Ive been to this place twice now and both times I've left so happy! Today i got a pedi and a dip powder mani! Loved how both turned out! She took her time, and made it so relaxing! While the owner seems very nice and I'm sure most of the techs are great, the older woman that did my nails did a pretty terrible job. First off she used regular nail polish rather than gel and only realized the mistake after the manicure was basically done and it wasn't drying under the UV lamp. She hastily grabbed acetone to remove it leaving a lot of cotton strands on my hands that weren't removed before she started putting the gel polish on. She was then in a huge rush to get the gel on and I had to remind her that the top coat hadn't been applied to one of my hands. One hand ended up with WAY more glitter than the other so it literally looked like two different manicures. Skip to 3 days later and literally half of the gel has popped off because as I've since learned, they're supposed to rough your nails up so the gel adheres better. Money wasted. read more

Not the same experience as before. May I make a few suggestions to the owners as I hate leaving negative reviews so perhaps some constructive comments: Make your customers feel like they are important to you (I didn't, I felt like an inconvenience). When you only have one customer in the salon, maybe someone other than the person serving that customer can tear themselves from their cell phones and answer the phone. Understand that a customer may find it rude and annoying that all the workers in the salon are communicating/joking/laughing in a foreign language (including the one working on you) instead of focusing on the customer or their business, which looks to be in trouble due to lack of customers. I was never thanked for coming in nor felt welcome in the salon. Unfortunately it was not a pleasant experience for me. Good luck to them, I hope they can turn it around. read more

I generally never do reviews for bad service but felt this was bad enough I had to share. I walked in just after 9:00 and was asked if I had an appointment, I didn't but there was only one other client in the salon. One of the ladies was putting in a liner and called me over. I did a gel pedicure which ended up just fine. During my pedicure one of the gentlemen came to file and soak my nails. My purse was on the right side and when I tried to move it, he said no it was fine, but then filed the dust right in to my purse. While doing my manicure, he used the brush to wipe away the dust and twice wiped away part of the dip manicure. When he was done with applying the dip, he had to ask the person next to him what top coat to use which didn't make me very comfortable. Unfortunately it took him about an hour and a half to finish and when it was all said and done, I have ridges on all of my nails and the shape is not consistent on any of them. I had seen the sign about a $3 fee to use a card so I expected that when I paid. The lady with the long gray hair came to cash me out, told me how much and ran my payment. Hands me back my card and says "Thanks", I told her I needed to tip and she said "cash only". I didn't have cash and she just said "so sorry" and walked away. I have visited twice now and it has been such a lovely experience each time. The decor is sophisticated and the chairs are comfortable. It is hard to find a salon Iclick with and I've been bouncing for months. But I think I found the place. The techs here ask what you want and actually act on it instead of ignoring your request. Walked in this morning and was rudely greeted by an older woman asking if I had an appointment. I didn't and asked if they had time for a gel pedicure. She said yes and walked away. Keep in mind, there was one other customer in there and two other techs not doing anything. A man waved me over to a chair as he was putting a liner in it. After a quick bathroom break, I sat down and was given a small sample of gel color options. The tech began removing the gel on my toes in a very rough manner. My feet were barely soaked and the filing on the bottoms of my feet was obviously very rushed as they are only slightly better than they were when I walked in. Polish was hastily applied and dried under the UV lamp. No massage whatsoever. Some lotion was slapped on, 30 seconds each calf, as my toes were drying. I asked if they did sugar scrub with pedicures and the male tech grunted something that sounded like yes. I had a pedicure there before and it was wonderful. It took me some time, but I finally found it. By "it" I mean the BEST nail salon in Oro Valley! I was immediately greeted with smiles and welcomes. I called ahead and they got me in for a full set and pedicure within 5 minutes. The nail technicians are experienced and can do just about any design you ask for. I've asked for marble elsewhere and no one was able to accommodate, so I was impressed. They offer a variety of snacks and beverages for clients. Additionally, the work spaces were clean and organized. My nails were exactly what I wanted. I'm also incredibly indecisive and my tech was patient and super helpful. I never felt welcomed here. Most of the staff is cold. They always did a decent job at my nails. Manny is awesome. But I had to stop going because the owner, Tammy, was very rude. I would feel uncomfortable and unwelcomed when going in the salon. Such a shame because I used to really liked the way they turned out, although powder dip wouldn't last more than a week. Had a very disappointing experience today as I brought my husband and girls with me to celebrate my birthday. I stopped going here about a year ago because I started feeling like an inconvenience, my nails were so brittle from them constantly grinding the polish off rather than soaking them (she told me grinding was quicker for them, soaking take too long) and the service was not friendly anymore. I decided to give them a second chance and boy was I wrong. The service was worse than before. I had an appointment for 4 of us to get pedicures at 10:30am. It was obvious they were running behind but that happens. But then my family got serviced and was done before I even got started. My feet literally sat in water for 40 minutes. Came here for the first time today and was very surprised with my experience after reading the other reviews. My sister and I had an appointment at 9 am for manicures and we were greeted and sat down right away. An employee sat down to start my sisters nails and when she was done gluing the tips on her nails she said she has to blow her nose and would be back. Well...the employee came back into the room and started a pedicure on another customer!!! 45 MINUTES later (after finishing the other customers pedicure) she went back to my sister and finished her full set. We had an appointment at 9am and my sister had to sit there and wait 45 minutes. I found it incredibly rude for that employee to start her nails and then leave in the middle to do a pedicure for another customer!! In addition they had 2 other employees in the back not doing anything so I was confused as to why they didn't have someone else finish my sisters nails. Now the male who did my nails didn't really understand what I wanted. I told him I wanted a gel manicure and instead he gave me a full set gel manicure. He said it would look better because I wanted my nails square shaped. BUT they came out looking great!! He did a really good job and I will be more clear next time. When it came time to pay the total came out to $78. I gave her my card and paid the amount not knowing that they only accept cash for tips. They REALLY need to have a sign on the door saying that. Because it's such an inconvenience for someone who doesn't carry cash. Also they overcharged me. According to their pamphlet it is $27 for an acrylic full set and $46 for a gel full set which adds up to $73 unfortunately I didn't realize this until I got home. I think we should've received a discount instead of being overcharged. Wasn't impressed for my first time at this establishment. read more

This place has recently become on of my favorite nail places in town. I love the decor and service. It's nice that you can grab a drink before you sit down and be pampered. They also had little muffins the last time I was there. I recently went with my mother in law, best friend and my 4 year old daughter. It was her birthday and she had been asking to go get her nails done with me. They gave her a pink cupcake for the occasion. She loved being pampered there. My mother in law and I chose the desert pediacure package which was amazing. They use a frozen orange and massage your feet and legs. On a hot day it felt great. I have always had a hot stones before so this was very different. My mother in law thought it was the best pedicure she has ever had. The place seems very clean and I will be returning again. The only reason why it lost 1 star is because they charge $30 for my 4 year old nails. It was definitely not worth it. She couldn't hold still and her toe nails and nails were messed up by the time we left. The lady didn't even give her a manicure or pedicure. Just cut her nails down and polished. I will just do a polish change for her next time. For me it was well worth it though. read more
