I have been to Tips and Toes several times and recently had my first visit "post-pandemic." Their standard of quality has not changed and they still provide excellent service with high standards of cleanliness. My temperature was scanned on arrival and I was given hand sanitizer. Dividers are places between the client and the nail technician for pedicure and manicure stations. People are not seated next to each other and social distancing is observed. All technicians and customers are wearing masks and the technicians were also wearing gloves. I got the $60 pedicure and it was excellent! The pedicure tubs use liners and are cleaned after each client uses one. I started with a soak and general nail care (trimming, cuticles) and then a foot scrub with file. Then a scrub and lotion massage on the calves and feet. This followed with a 20 minute leg and foot massage (on each leg!!). The pedicure part finished up with paraffin wax and hot towels. After my color had been applied and I was led to the drying station, my technician gave me a neck and shoulder massage while my toes dried. The whole experience took about 90 minutes. Tips and Toes is a great salon with friendly employees who provide great service. They are my favorite of the salons in the Torrington area. Whether I am getting a $30 or $60 pedicure, or a gel manicure / full set, I know that I am getting high quality service and that my nails will last. read more

I love coming to tips & toes spa. Tom takes his time to make sure every nail is perfect and all the same shape. Most salons don't take as much time as he does to make sure every single nail is perfect. He even stayed open later for me to make sure my nails were perfect and never rushed. You can tell he cares about his customers and the rest of the staff is very nice as well. I've never had any problems or complaints. They also will fix your nails within 10 days if something happens which is amazing and most places don't offer. The salon is always very clean. My fiancé and I came here just for regular pedicures and we got way more than expected. We paid a total of 60$ and we were more than pleased. As soon as we walked in, everyone said hello with a smile. The owner is amazing as well. He offers a 10 day guarantee if you don't like the service. I've NEVER heard of that. Pleasing customers must be top of the list for this salon. Also, not to mention the covid protocol, it's outstanding. The whole time I was getting a pedicure, no one stopped cleaning. This Spa is like a home away from home. The owner Tom, his Family, and the entire staff, always go above and beyond to comfort and spoil me. Tom is a perfectionist. Tips and Toes is a first place spa. It was recommended by a very prestige lady. I am so lucky to find such a clean salon. When you walk in the door they are very friendly, spray your hands and take your temp very impressing. I myself had done nails for 20 years and are very fussy with how they look. Tom was so very nice and very very neat about doing my first ever gel set, I originally went in for silk wrap which is more and he said I could make money and not say anything but that the gel will last longer and also better being my nails were so short. I went here to get a mani pedi, and the service was excellent! The staff was all super nice and we immediately greeted with welcoming hellos! Following saftey protocol during covid was not an issue of there's and I was pleased to see all the precautions taken!
