Stopped here for lunch today. Greeted warmly as we walked in, grabbed a table near the back. I had the beef and vegetable soup which had great flavor with plenty of beef chunks and vegetables. Also had the gyro pita with potato chips, the gyro was huge, flavor was great. My brother had the soup and steak hoagy and enjoyed both. The prices are more than reasonable for the amount of food you're given. Just a great experience overall. Good selection of food choices, I'll certainly visit here again. I love having Tino's in our neighborhood. I've only ever had the gyro and fries but that is because it's so good I never want to order anything else. On our most recent visit someone in our group ordered the Souvlaki and said it was really good. The service is great. Ate here with wife for lunch on a Saturday. Not busy for some reason. Wife had a large ham and cheese sandwich with chips. I had a bowl of chicken and rice with lemon soup--different but I liked it. Also a BLT which was one of the best I've had in this area--it came with chips. Also a small Greek salad with gyro meat--had to take part of it home. Great diner with excellent Greek food along with typical diner choices. We were first-timers there for the Greek part of the menu, but we saw lots of great looking burgers and double-decker sandwiches on plates around us. We both opted for a meal of Pastitio which was terrific and a huge portion. All dinners come with a bowl of soup of the day (potato soup was very tasty) and 2 side dishes. We chose side salads with house-made Greek dressing and I got onion rings. Hubby had broccoli. The food was all scratch made and excellent. Service was outstanding. We brought home desserts for tonight. Portions were so big we couldn't eat any more (and we are actually big eaters). Prices were very reasonable. Can hardly wait to return. Food: 4/5 It's American Greek food, so it has many American options and some key Greek favorites. We got the gyro sandwich with chips, cottage cheese, onion rings, baklava, and kataifi. The Gyro sandwich was huge! The meat was moist, and tzatziki was tasty. The portion was huge with a great value! The cottage cheese was tasty and nostalgic. Onion rings were fried to perfection with a crispy, thin batter. Baklava was harder than I have traditionally thought of baklava; however, it was delicious. The kataifi was flown in from Greece but wasn't my favorite dessert because of the texture. It's probably great kataifi, just maybe not the dessert for me. Service: 3.5/5 Two servers were hustling between tables. It was super busy, which probably explains why it's a local hot spot. The food came out reasonably, but we weren't given silverware and had to ask to get napkins. We got a few refills, and the waitress was friendly. Hidden gem in the White Oak shopping Plaza. I had the pastitio with a salad and green beans. My wife had the gyro dinner. We both had homemade chicken soup. Everything was excellent. The server was pleasant and provided good descriptions of items we weren't knowledgeable of. The chicken soup had a hint of lemon, which made me think of Avgolemono, but this was definitely more like good old-fashioned chicken noodle soup. The dining area is small but clean and not cramped. We were full after our meals, but took cherry pie and baklava to go. Both desserts got high marks when they were eaten, a day or two later. This is a friendly little restaurant, located in a strip mall. It is "little," however. I considered taking a neighborhood group of 10-12 people here for lunch but realized they really have no room for a group that size. We have eaten here many times. They make their own hamburgers from scratch. (No frozen meat planks.) Their Greek food is great. (Their Spanakopida is crispy and served too hot to eat.) Their dinner sized portions include soup and two sides. (Don't order them unless you are really hungry or want leftovers. ) The Mousaka is eggplant, layered with meat and potato and beschamel cream, and we especially like it. Sometimes their soup, especially their beef barley, is over-salted, but that is the only complaint we have ever had about their food. They are closed Sundays and Mondays. Give them a try. All the west siders know about Sabastian's but there's a new player in town! Tino's is family run Greek spot with lots and lots of menu items I have never had before. They are on Cheviot road in the White Oak strip mall. The matriarch of the business even shared a portion of her lunch with me while I waited for my food to come out. My server was beautiful and made me a bit nervous so I just asked her to order what she though I should try. Everything that came out was pretty good but I have so much more of the menu to explore. Stopped in the other day and I am still not impressed. This time I ordered a gyro and the tzatziki sauce had a consistency of thin mayonnaise and was bitter. The fries were under cooked and I asked for Greek seasoning and it was okay. That night they had prime rib for the special and for a Greek restaurant their menu seems to be all over the board. People at a table by us ordered hamburgers and no Greek food. I have other to go places to satisfy my gyro cravings. When we left the front was extremely hot and there was a fan blowing on one of the employees at the counter and it was blowing in the direction of the food which made this another example of my poor experience at this place. read more

It's pretty much half Greek, half American cuisine. Dining area seats maybe 70. The waitress was very attentive and helpful. My food was fantastic. The gyro is massive! It comes with a side of chips. The tzatziki sauce is on the side which I enjoyed since I've had gyros in the past literally drowning in sauce. Pricing is very reasonable on all menu items. Overall it was a great first experience. Picked up a carryout menu last night and was impressed with the large selection. Ordered food tonight by phone and picked up. Food was ready in 20 min as promised. We arrived home to eat our food ( which was very good ) but sandwiches which are to be served with potato chips had none.. I called and the person answered the phone stated " you get chips if you ask for them" Why would you need to ask for them if your carryout menu says " All sandwiches serves with chips" read more

We just moved to the area and found Tino's during the COVID lock-down. The food is great! Our boys loved the burgers and the gyro meat and greek salad was delicious. We will definitely be going back. The prices and the food are right on point. Got carryout from Tino's, on the recommendation of my Greek friend. Let's take this one dish at a time. - Got the Pastitsio, double side of onion rings and a bowl of bean soup. (You get 2 sides and a bowl of soup with each dinner plate.) The Pastitsio is INCREDIBLE! The taste is to die for! The baschmel sauce is perfectly seasoned along with the ground beef. The onion rings, while probably are store bought (from a whole seller) have a great taste and crispness. The bean soup definitely tasted homemade and had actual vegetables in the soup (not purreed). - The Greek Burger was huge and very tasty. All fresh ingredients atop The burger. A side of fries came with the burger and a side of Tzatziki sauce. - The Gyro Dinner was also extremely good with well seasoned meat, a pita and a side of Tzatziki sauce. This dinner comes with a huge Greek salad also in the box. - I also ordered 3 slices of baklava, but have not eaten them yet, as we are all stuffed from the main courses. Absolutely amazing food! This review is for carryout. The dining area looks pretty basic but is very clean and well lighted. Can't comment on service, other than my carryout order was prepared quickly and correctly. The gyro is stuffed with a large amount of exceptionally tasty meat. The pastitsio was as good as any I've found in the Cincinnati area (although nothing matches Yanni's in Columbus). The Greek salad is large and generously loaded with feta, olives, etc. Delicious baklava. Reasonable prices on everything.
