Turkey sandwich add avocado... no turkey and hardly any avocado ‍

This is my turkey sandwich, which does not have turkey. Also paid extra for avocado which is barely existent ‍

Thanksgiving on a Bun~
Susan D.

Been here a few times and the food has been good. It's a quaint place located in a strip mall that has indoor and outdoor seating. You order at the register, take a number, then the food is brought to you. They have various sandwiches, salads and entrees. For this visit I finally tried the Thanksgiving on a Bun with a side salad. It came with gravy in a condiment cup. The sandwich was ok, a bit dry so the gravy was definitely needed. I was expecting stronger "Thanksgiving"flavors but it just tasted like a turkey sandwich with a hint of Thanksgiving. But I'm glad I was able to try it nevertheless.

West Coast Cobb was excellent.

I have never had a bad meal here. Everything is very, very good. The food is extremely fresh and of high quality. I won't even say it's expensive because you really get what you pay for here. This time we went with the West Coast Cobb Salad which was amazing and the Tri Tip French Dip which I loved. The bread, meat, lettuce, avocado, everything was super fresh. This place should be far busier than it is. The interior is fine but the patio is nicer, even though there really is no view (probably a good thing because the view would be of a busy street).

Got lunch here and they continue to provide a meal with quality ingredients. This time I got the Avocado, Lettuce and Tomato sandwich add turkey. Delicious.

First time trying this place and hadn't heard of it until I saw their instagram and it peaked my interest. When you walk in, you walk up to the front to order and then purchase until it's ready and a server comes out. The portions are huge and they have a wide assortment of sides to chose from. The pricing is fair - about $20 per person but if you don't have a huge appetite it's definitely something you can share! The food was very fresh and I liked their house dressing for the salad. As for the vibe of the restaurant, there was plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. The mood is more casual, as you order at the front and choose your own seats. Service was very good, even though it was casual, but the waitress came over to make sure our food was good. The only reason I rated this place 4 stars is because my salmon was a little overcooked. Other than that, it was a great meal!

I had a positive experience from my recent visit to Tinleaf, which is located in Plaza Paseo Real. It offers both indoor and outdoor seating. When you're inside, it's very casual with a touch of classiness. The staff are super nice and helpful. There's a large menu including vegan and vegetarian to choose from with a good option for healthy and fresh food. I think it's a little bit pricey buuut reasonable for the quality of the ingredients they use. You order at the counter and your order is delivered to your table. Simply easy! My specialty sandwich and side slaw was refreshing and was a pleasant pick-me-up for lunchtime. Overall, I recommend Tinleaf Fresh Kitchen.

This was our first time here and what a treat it was. With all of my food sensitivities, they have so many options for me and hubby found numerous items he wanted to try. Everything was cooked to perfection; so fresh, farm to table-like, and tasty! They make everything on the spot, so not pre-made, including the dressings. I had the salmon salad and hubby had the seared ahi entree which came with two sides (lots to choose from). It's light and bright inside the restaurant and service was also great . We'll be back for sure.

First time coming here and everyone in my party loved it. TinLeaf really bridges the gap between healthy and delicious. Everything was delightful. I absolutely loved the Santa Fe chicken salad. The dressing for it was Devine. Would have loved a bottle of it haha All other entrees were enjoyed as well. Service was wonderful. Super friendly and helpful staff. It was decorated super cute for the holidays. Dim-ish lighting for the most part. Only comment would be we all thought it was pretty chilly inside. Definitely will be returning in the future!

I was craving something healthy & came across this place. My goodness, everything was on point! Pretty simple ordering at the counter & we got our food quickly. The vibe is casual, open, & welcoming. Lots of seating indoor & outside. I will most definitely be back for the Tri Tip plate & lentil soup!

Love coming here!!! They always provide great service and great food!!! All the comfort food we need for a rainy day

Not sure how this is called Fresh Kitchen, food was far from fresh. We ordered 2 French dips, one with horseradish, one without. Well both came without. sandwiches were warm at best and fries were cold. Ordered kids trip tip, which was ice cold as if it came out of the fridge. Sent it back and it was microwaved and when it returned there was lint on the fries. So we sent it back again and asked for a whole new plate and not to microwaved. The worker has an attitude and rudely snaps "we don't even have a microwave" and walked away. Also ordered a crispy chicken sandwich with was soggy and cold fries. Had to have fries on that remade too. Will not be back to this place at all!

I haven't visited in years but found myself with a craving and set off! I was lucky to arrive early with no line and ordered the fries and made my own salad with the mustard vinaigrette. Everything was prepared immediately (I expected to wait longer for my food to be delivered) and the fries were nice and hot. Very satisfying meal!

Turkey entree with stuffing and mashed potsto.

Cafeteria style restaurant. You have to order at the counter and then take a number and pick your seat. There is a drink station in the restaurant with a container for water and a soda machine. Paper towels and utensils are also at the same place. You have to collect your own paper towels and utensils. There is seating inside as well as outside on the patio. Quite a lot of space. It looks a little dark in the restaurant and we chose to sit outside. My husband ordered the turkey entree with two sides - stuffing and mashed potato. He commented that the turkey and the food tasted microwaved. And he didn't really like it. My entree i ordered was charsiew entree with brussel sprouts and bokchoy with mushrooms. The charsiew was a little dry at parts but the colour looked a little off. It came with not what I would consider charsiew sauce and brown mustard- which is a very weird combination. Also the charsiew tasted a little like duck to me. The brussel sprouts look like they were made from frozen brussel sprouts and was very mushy. It was definitely not fresh. The bokchoy was sautéed to death it was also mushy. The only saving grace was the shitake mushrooms. After lunch, both of us were having tummy issues. We probably will not go back again.

Ask the Community - Tinleaf Fresh Kitchen

Is there a Kid's menu?

Yes, we call it our Little Chef’s menu.

Are the fries to share really enough to share?

Yes! Normally the answer would be no bc who can ever share fries, right?! But in this case, yes! There are so so so many

Any a la carte options available?

Yes, we do. Our regular menu is available on the 24th from 11-2pm. You can order online or by phone. 760-431-5323

How are the portions here? Just asking bc some places give tons of grains with little protein.

I feel like the portions are fair, especially for the price. I get the salmon and never leave hungry; I usually do one grain and one vegetable as my sides for the entree plate and don't see a disparity in serving size between them. Salads are very… Read more

He guided us through the menu and recommended ordering a variety of dishes to share from each category, which turned out to be a great suggestion. We started with the tomato appetizer, cornbread, and the standout dish of the night--the incredible head of broccoli. For our mains, our son and daughter-in-law shared the roasted chicken, while my husband and I shared the pork chop. Every dish was exceptional, but the broccoli truly stole the show--even my husband, who rarely eats vegetables, loved it. Kaden struck the perfect balance with his service--attentive without ever being overbearing--which made the experience even more enjoyable.

But, to me, at the end of the day, it's a restaurant, and serving food that is basically burned to oblivion is probably not great. Even when camping, I would never be charring my food into dust. Got the cornbread, the broccoli head, the ribeye, and smores for dessert. Cornbread was good. Very unique! One of the few things I did like about this place. The broccoli and ribeye was just too much. The broccoli florets were cooked over fire until it was basically ash in mouth. Ribeye quality was decent, but again, the char taste covered any meat flavor. Left much to be desired. Unique experience. Would not be back again.

It was easy peasy. It's located in the beautiful Bressi ranch area. There's indoor and outdoor seating, and the restaurant is loungey and cozy at the same time. Not too loungey to be kid inappropriate and not too cozy either. Celebrated a birthday dinner and was happy to see they offered delicious desserts such as the peanut butter cake which was the fav of the table. They have an extensive but not overwhelming menu. They do have plenty of drink offerings including mocktails, whiskey , soda, and wine. Love the variety of burgers they have. We ordered different types and were able to cut into quarters to share. The fav of the table was the fig but I still root and hold it down for the bacon jalapeño. I love the mixture of sweet and savory. Appetizers that were delicious include the Korean frachos and Brussel sprouts. Will definitely return for family and or date night, they have a kids menu, and they also have turf out front for the kids to play.

I honestly couldn't believe we'd found a spot like that so close to our hotel. So good that we went there BOTH nights around 9 or 10pm when we were in town. I don't really enjoy regular bar drinks and wasn't that excited to go to Eureka until I sat down and looked at the drink menu. This is my kind of place....plus the food (appetizers & desserts) were great too. Items we tried were fried pickles, onion rings, dry-rub wings, cheesecake, turtle pie and carrot cake. The fried pickles were probably the best I've had. Crisp and delicious batter. The Eureka dry rub is definitely the way to go. I still crave them! Desserts were great too but I was buzzed eating them back at the hotel so you know..... Drinks we tried: Pineapple Tequila Sour, Headhunter King and Wild Child. The first night I ordered and LOVED the Pineapple Tequila Sour and my husband ordered the Headhunter King which he didn't like at all so guess what? I drank it and enjoyed it and he had a spiced rum and coke. LOL The second night I had a couple of Wild Childs. OMG, they are amazing. I wish I could find that drink here in Tucson. My boring husband had more rum & cokes, The environment at Eureka is great. We did sit at the bar both nights and that bar is hoppin'! I like that there is so much outdoor space too which allows families to enjoy themselves and let the kids have room to have fun. Eureka is a great spot and I highly recommend it. I was soooo excited about the Philly connection, as I'm very familiar with cheesesteaks having lived near Philly in a past life. Well, I was sorely disappointed. We were told that the bread is flown in daily from Philly. Well, I don't know where it's coming from because it's definitely not the same bread as what they normally use there. The sandwich and meat were dry and flavorless. Totally underwhelming unfortunately. So then we saw that they made key lime pie there too! Again, I was SUPER excited because key lime pie is my favorite dessert of all time. And again...disappointment. I took one glance and saw that it was light green in color and knew I was gonna be mad. Yall, Key lime pie is yellow. You should NEVER add food coloring. That's just gross and inaccurate. The texture and flavor were also off. Texturally it was way too thick and dense, which would have been fine if it actually tasted like key lime. But it was severely lacking in that tart key lime flavor that it's known for. I'd definitely go back because of the service and vibe. But I'll maybe try a burger and the cheesecake instead.
