We arrived at this Les Schwab location at 10 am on a weekday as walk in. They stated that they did have the tires that we needed and showed us some options. They also let us know that it might be quite a wait because they had a full day of appointments. We completely understood. Not only did their lobby have air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and clean bathrooms, but they also had a coffee station and were offering free popcorn. I have no idea if that is an all the time thing or not but just in case it's not, they had vending machines inside as well. I thought it was a lovely touch. In addition, they allowed us to bring our small dog inside to wait with us. I love how dog friendly they are. It worked out very well for us for the first hour or so and then a few other people came in with their dogs. A gentleman with a small dog came in and sat down on the other side of the lobby from us and that was fine but then a woman with two large dogs sat next to us and it just wasn't working out very well so I waited the rest of the time outside in the shade with my dog while my husband finished up some work on his laptop in the lobby. Those sort of things happen when you are traveling with pets. They finished up with our van right around 12:00 and the price was completely reasonable. I definitely feel safer with the new tires on and we haven't had any issues. They knew we were not from the area and explained to us that we can go into any location near our home to have the tires rotated as needed. Based on our experience this is a great place to stop. I have read the ridiculous one star review for this location and it is clear that the person who wrote it was the problem and not the business. I also tried to report it and have it removed but I understand that Yelp does not want to invalidate anyone's experience, no matter how out of touch with reality they may be. I'm sure anyone else reading these can see that as well, but it's unfortunate that one person is ruining the rating for a very good shop.

I tried 2 Costcos in the area and they didn't have my tire size in stock. I stopped by this Les Schwab and they had the tires I needed. The employee was super helpful and showed me the tires that fit my vehicle. I was a walk in that morning and they were able to install my new tires for me. Total time was about an hour and 40 minutes which is really good. They had a big waiting area in super clean bathrooms and they also had free popcorn and coffee. I was able to wait inside the waiting area with my dog while they installed my tires. Definitely a great place to go when you need new tires and don't have to pay sales tax.

The…read moreweather in Central Point was snowy and icy while I was there, and the weather I was driving back to on the coast was windy and rainy. My nerves were already shot after a scary, worrisome week (that thankfully ended well!) and I just wanted some safety reassurance, so I stopped by Firestone to ask if they'd take a look at the pressure in my tires before I made the drive back home; I had super precious doggie cargo in the car after all! The Firestone staff told me to pull right up to the garage, came out and checked my tires, added some air, and that was that. They didn't charge me a cent. It was such a kind gesture, and the service put my mind at ease before the long drive home. I found the folks at Firestone on Table Rock Road to be good people. Take your vehicle there!

Even though it was the end of their shift, they were patient, kind, and never made us feel rushed. They took the time to thoroughly explain everything, made sure we felt comfortable and taken care of, and showed genuine care and professionalism throughout the entire process. It's rare to receive that level of service these days--especially right before closing--but they exceeded every expectation. Because of their dedication, attitude, and willingness to help, they turned what could have been a stressful situation into a great experience. Firestone is lucky to have employees like them, and they absolutely deserve recognition. We will definitely be back and will recommend this location to others.

I slid into this place with almost completely bald tires, not really sure what to do because tires are pricey (hence the bald ones I've been driving on for too long, or so I thought thanks to Les Schwab. A dude named Austyn, I think, was in there and showed me some options that were less than half the price of the last set I got. Turns out Austyn is the manager, and he himself and a couple guys from his team jumped right in to get me squared away and back on the road, no crazy wait time or other stuff. It's a little crazy that places with service like that still exist. I'll make this my go to anytime im in Medford. Thanks.

I don't usually leave reviews, but this experience with Point S Tire & Auto Service was too…read moreconcerning not to share. I bought a set of tires from them for about $600 (almost $900 installed). In less than 10,000 miles (about a year and a half), the tires started showing visible tread chunking and abnormal wear. When I had another shop look at them, they estimated the tires had already lost about 50% of their tread life, which is extremely premature. When I first brought my vehicle back to Point S, they told me I needed a rack and pinion replacement and quoted around $2,000. That didn't sit right, so I got two additional opinions. Both confirmed there was no issue with the rack and pinion. When I returned and told them this, they said the original diagnosis may have been a mistake and that they could have confused rainwater for a fluid leak. That explanation alone was concerning. They also dismissed the tire wear as normal, despite the low mileage, visible damage, and feedback from other shops. They did not offer meaningful help with a warranty claim or take responsibility for the situation. At that point, I lost confidence and chose to go elsewhere. Between the incorrect $2,000 repair recommendation and the unwillingness to address what appears to be premature tire failure, I would not return. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion if you're told you need major repairs here.
