I had a wonderful time at this bowling location which is located right off of I10 and Grand Parkway in the Time Square Plaza. If your looking to enjoy a night out at the sports bar, planning a birthday party for kids or adults, or just wanting to play pool in a comfortable atmosphere, then this is the place. I went on a Saturday afternoon with family, and there was plenty of parking to accommodate our vehicles, our wait time for purchasing a blowing lane for two hours was not much of a wait. My family reserved The Grand Plaza room for 30 plus people. The size of the room was perfect to accommodate us all and there was enough seating in both dining chairs and cushioned sofas. The music in that area was very faint which I thought was being drowned out by the many of people we had in our party but even when the talking was to a minimum, we still couldn't really hear the music. Most bowling alleys have the music up loud enough to set you in a party mood. Of course, there was a lot of food ordered which meant there would be empty food containers but no one ever came to clear the tables of the pizza and wing trays within the 2 hours that we were back there. The only time I saw anyone was when the lanes kept getting stuck. They got stuck at least 6 times before a match was even completed! At one point, we had to wait at least 12 minutes before anyone came to reset it. We were never told why but we weren't able to enter names on the board. With 6 people to a lane, it was chaos trying to remember who's number belonged to who. Maybe this wasn't a good experience for me because we had so many in our party so I'm not going to count them out just yet. read more

So much better than Main Event! They have great deals throughout the week. There's bowling, laser tag, and arcade. Bowling: 3/5 both the lanes we initially got DID NOT work. It kept messing up the scores and wouldn't reset after someone bowled. After 45 min, we resolved the issue by switching to another lane. Waste of time and bummer. Arcade: while relatively small, it's has the essential arcade games: terminator, air hockey, connect 4 basketball, clown throwing, guitar hero, etc. Also, you can win prizes with your tickets! Laser Tag: Best 15 minutes of your life. Be careful bc you'll have the funnest workout here. They have a "locker" for you to put your things in. Plenty of space inside. We attended an adult birthday party for one of our friends. Our group had a private room (The Grand Plaza) with 6 lanes, 3 big screen TVs above the lanes (you can request what you want to watch). our own ball rack, a buffet table, dedicated room waitstaff and even our own private bathrooms (1 for men, 1 for women). Our waitstaff were fast and very nice, the selection of adult beverages was great (full bar), the chicken wings and sliders were good, the room space was perfect for our group of 25-30 people and the seating space was great. There was a terrible smell near one of the tables. One of my friends and I noticed it immediately. It was like a mixture of old beer and feet. It was only noticeable in one small area under a table we were trying to put our purses, but it was enough to mention. I hope they take notice of this review and do something about it. The facility also had a small arcade, a laser tag room and plenty of regular lanes for bowling. The shoes seemed pretty clean. I suggest sizing down 1/2 a size since they get stretched out with multiple feet. All in all, we enjoyed our time. read more

We came here after main event, dug out and the mini golf place was PACKED. It was comfortable in here, got a pool table while we waited for our bowling lane. They also have an arcade area and a bar. I love this place. It is so much fun and has sooo much to offer. It has amazing deals all week which is a plus! Bowling is fairly priced and they even have a private area for parties/events. The laser tag is so much fun. I will say I do wish they had more to offer in the arcade area as far as games, it is quite small and not many choices. It is almost like a movie theater arcade. They have about 7/8 pool tables 2 are located near the bar for a more adult area. Theres also a jumbo jenga set near the bar as well as a set up for darts. The food is actually really good with a slight overpricing i feel but for the conveniency who really cares? Another thing I will say I noticed has changed ( because my family and I are regulars) is we have seen a downfall in the drinks at the bar. If you're a bowler, do not bowl here. Their cheap prices may be enticing, but it's not worth it after you crack a ball on the same lane in the same gutter it got damaged on 2 weeks prior. Was told by the supervisor if they can't fix it, they'll replace it. That did not happen. Lanes are always dry, as well. Staff is great, customer resolution is not quite there. I come here often for bowling, so I was surprised I have not written them a review. I prefer coming here because they have specials almost everyday - some specials during the day or late night bowling specials. The price can't be beat from what I've found in the area, and although it's nothing fancy - it serves its purpose. They have bowling, small arcade area, laser tag, billiards, and I think VR games too. They also have a bar area and food concessions. We like to come for the late night special because it's about $11 per person to bowl from 9:30pm-closing. This is sometimes hit or miss because if you come one Friday or Saturday night - come early and be prepared to wait. We've waited as long as 2 hours for a lane before but they do text you when it's you're turn which is nice. We've also done the all day pass which is worth it if you like to bowl during the day and you like to bowl for more than just 1-2 games. Bar drinks here are okay and we get them occasionally when we come here. As for food, we have tried and would recommend the Buffalo wings, Buffalo chicken pizza, and their curly fries. If you're looking for a spot to have some fun on a date night or a family outing, this is a great spot to consider. I definitely recommend them. read more

My family has been coming to this location for years. It's our go to for birthdays, baby showers and just pigging out on pizza and drinks. They have 30 lanes with automatic bumpers for kids. The seating is a little tight but it's not bad. There is laser tag, video games and pool. A bar with lots of TVs for the grown folks and good food. I love their pizzas!!!! Walking through Katy Mills one day, my mom had picked up some free Bowling passes for a place called Times Square Entertainment. At first, when my mom gave it to me, I was a little hesitant to go because I don't like all of the new fancy bowling lanes. (You know... the ones with the flashing lights, non-stop projector videos at the end of the lane, the holographic neon colored pins, and the strobe lights causing endless distractions...) I could go on forever about the way how my dad and I likes to bowl... let me get back on topic real quick here. Overall, this is a nice place in Katy! There's lots of activities and different specials that happen during the week, so the best way to get a great deal is to go to their website and check out their deals. They have a huge variety of activities from bowling, laser tag, an arcade, a new VR experience, several party rooms, and other fun for the whole family! Now, the most important part about this whole review is the Bowling Alley. They offer differnet leagues on different days of the week, there wasn't that many distractions, the place was kept nice and clean, and it was a great way to bowl, league style. Major complaint was that we waited for a VERY long time for our lanes to be ready. We were okay waiting since we didn't have a reservation when we arrived and we were still waiting for a few members of our party to show up. However, we waited at least an hour past when they said our lanes were going to be ready. We had a few families with little children that were starting to get antsy. I was about 5 minutes away from leaving before they finally told us that the lanes were ready. Once we got settled in, everyone had a great time. Check out their website for specials on weeknights. The shoes and bowling balls are a bit old and could use an update but we still had a great time! Bring socks with you. Yes three stars is pretty much on the line where everybody placed their cursor. It looks pretty upkept outside until you step inside and walk around. Do not expect to see a lot of activities to do here like you would down the road at Fun Plex, Main Event or a Dave n Busters but you will find a satellite part of a food place, lazer tag and a small game room that tries to compliment a bowling ally. Parking is ample Neighborhood is good. Staff seems either lost or disinterested in their tasks if delegated an y. Interior is pretty clean. I would not recommend this place it's horrible and unorganized. Especially with the food service. Need better customer service and management. They forgot what was on the food tickets. Asked for an impossible burger was regular beef burger and when I returned it the young lady acted like i didn't know the difference. Asked to have it re made and I was clearly not given the correct order. I haven't had beef in 12 years and your company almost gave me the incorrect food. I had to have someone else challenge her in order to even have the correct food given. NOW i tried to order again no one at the register. Once someone was there they acted they couldn't take orders. I hadn't been here since my 20s, when friends and I would.meet at the bar and bowl for $1 beer nights. It really hasn't changed much, but they have improved some things. The bar is much nicer, they have an electronic waiting system for bowling, and they seem to keep the games in the arcade pretty well maintained. My daughter and I came in to bowl, and was told to expect a 20 minute wait. But a few minutes later, we got a text that our lane was ready. We had no issues with the equipment or balls, ect. Everything was well maintained. I was really excited to find that that have basketball connect 4. That is my favorite arcade game at D&Bs. Not many bowling options out here, but this will have to do. There's bowling, laser tag, pool, arcade games and a separate sports bar. It was my nephew's birthday party, and we came out here for midnight bowl. Place is kinda ghetto, as is the clientele, but management was great. We had to get moved twice: first time some drunks were cursing at the kids; the second time the group moved another drunk was cursing at an adult. I arrived late for the birthday party, so I didn't get to see this first hand. Had I, I would have gone straight to the on-site po-pos and had those crazies kicked out. However, when I did arrive and heard about all the hoopla from the family, I went straight to management. They immediately moved our party to their private room, to ensure we wouldn't be disturbed again. And they told us next time, go straight to the cops. The kids were happy with their pizza and pitchers of Mountain Dew (go-go juice). Their only complaint, and mine as well, was the electronic scoreboard. It was completely off. Times Square Entertainment is your one stop amusement venue in the West Houston area. You can easily spend a day here just playing like you're a kid again. I had this idea I would be like James Bond in the Laser Tag Arena. You know, with some duck and cover maneuvers, maybe a little roll to outsmart my opponents. I was totally owned by the kids in there that kept hitting me and I couldn't escape. It was a lot of fun but I spent my time just running from a group of children that were merciless. I'll have to work a little more on my technique and return to dominate. Of course, they have numerous lanes of bowling and I pretty much suck at that too but there's no shooting involved. I still love it and enjoyed the space they have set up there. It can get crowded on the weekends but you never feel too overwhelmed or rushed because there are 36 lanes from which to choose. Then, there's the arcade. I have memories of hanging out in the arcade as a teenager. As an adult, I still lack the skills to play these games well but I have more fun now. You could easily spend hours among the flashy lights and sounds that fill the arcade room even if you never get to enter your name in the high score box. Times Square Entertainment also has a sports bar with stuff for the grown ups. It is a spacious area with big screen TVs showing the big games of the day. Very nice and clean with decent food on a predictable menu, the sports bar is a great place to take a break from all of your gaming activities. They're open late so you can fit in some pool on one of their 15 tables while you're there. Times Square Entertainment easily rivals big complexes like Dave and Buster's or Jillian's without the drive if you're near the Katy area. read more

Pros: The bowling alley itself is nice. The patrons there were friendly. The staff that handles the lanes and shoes were nice. Cons: The computer system for scoring looked a little out dated. The staff in the bar area left us waiting for 15 mins. To take a drink order. The place was empty as well. We never got our drinks so we left to get our lane. The the little food counter had entitled kids there working. They never talked to the customer instead they were having conversations with other workers about people who were in line. They badgered some poor lady because she paid and walked away. They never told her to wait for a drink, or hold on or anything. They expected the customer to know. Their demeanor and disrespect for people just showed that these kids working there will never learn how to give customer service. Go for the bowling, skip the food.
